Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

        Might swap out Negredo for Rondon in that case.

        Originally had Mkhi in ahead of Mahrez, but not sure if he's a starter for the first few GWs.

        De Roon is just bench fodder. And I'll look at cheapening the defence.

        Does he really make the defense better? I've watched him quite a bit, and I've never been particularly impressed. Error prone on overly confident in my opinion. I've heard the praise, but I have a hard time getting behind it.

        I guess he could become great as he's a ball playing defender, but will he really improve the defense that much right away?

      City's defense had a lot of question marks in terms of WHO would play (besides being a bit hole-y)

      but 5m for a shoe-in to the defense is hard to pass up, especially with his pass ability being kind for baps

    Ok so there seems to be some decent 7.5 mid options but none are definite points so my thinking is go for a very expensive, and good, front line. Then when a good cheap striker comes along, downgrade to him then upgrade to the mid that seems to be on form. Anyone else thinking of doing this? My front three are Kun Ibra and Vardy and I still have Haz

    How much were you influenced by the members of the forum and the start of an early template or did you go against the masses and choose your own team for week 1?

      Last year the FFS template pre-season was a disaster as most started with Hazard, Rooney etc

      My advice to you would be to make your own decisions and take all the advice on here with a grain of salt

      Lol. The people that do well on here are on the whole the people that aren't posting RMT's or asking A) or B) every day so I would say they are making their own decisions rather than shaping their team towards the template. Pick a solid team with not too many risks to begin with, read the articles, use the statistics and season ticker and you will do well.
