Attentions now turn to the Etihad where Pep Guardiola makes his Premier League bow.

David Moyes’ Sunderland are the guests and potential party poopers, although the odds do seem stacked against them.

The Black Cats are in transition under their new manager, while City boast such attacking riches there can be no doubt that they head into today’s clash as overwhelming favourites.

Expectant Fantasy managers will be looking to Sergio Aguero to capitlise – the Argentine heads into the teatime kick-off as the most popular captain choice in the Gameweek and with over 40% ownership.

      Capoue and Friend are starters but the latter is dependant on the whole clean sheet. Swans need more time to see if tight at the back.
      If you have all three that means they are you bench...so it's more about who you bench for them to play.

      Not if they buy tekkers, he will get 15 easily imo. Stumping up the extra 5 million Liverpool want for him, compared to what they previously offered could be worth millions to them in reality, by probably keeping them in the league.

    Mahrez owners. A nice surprise seeing him back on pens today. Are you happy with his performance or is he on shaky ground if the likes of Hazard and Martial also get off to a flyer?

    Personally, I had to have him for the Hull game, but he's by no means nailed. Spotlight should be on him at home to Arsenal next week... Definitely worth keeping for that.

        Yup. I think with the way the pricing is, if you have Mahrez, Aguero, then you're likely to only have one of Hazard / Kane. With Spurs playing Palace next week, then Mahrez > Spurs midfielder wouldn't be out of the question.

        I think the winner of FPL this year will have been much more fluid with switching players in and out, rather than remaining patient.

    Honestly not saying this as just an owner but playing 343 starting Diomande every week could be a great tactic to free up money elsewhere. Hull have a serious underdog aura about them and if they can beat leicester they can beat most teams.

        I was toying around with teams with my son as he was setting up his team for his school league....just kinda doing options for him to show how he might fit in Ibra and Aguero. Then suddenly I couldn't put my team back together as I wanted. I'll take the pts though.

    With no one really stepping up for major bandwagons I don't think any of us need to make transfers yet.

    Who are you looking to ship out, and why? I don't think anyone really is a must on the transfers in (except Aguero, but why did you not have him already).

    Like we all knew we would be saying, relax everyone, your teams are good!

        I'm in the same boat - 49 with Hazard and Sanchez to go - but I don't feel great about it.

        I guess it was the three clean sheets from my bargain defense (Friend, Mee, and Souare) that went up in smoke in the span of ten minutes, and the lack of points from Tadic despite bossing the entire match, that make it seem sort of empty.

            I guess I'm raging as I ignored the Redmond bandwagon and took Rondon out as everybody else seemed to have Gray and I didn't feel I could risk missing out if he did something. Yeah Tadic did nothing but I thought I would give him ago. Think I will transfer him out. Tho season in going on pure form.
