Sadio Mane goes into Liverpool’s trip to Burnley as a doubt following a shoulder injury in training. Arsene Wenger will be without both Aaron Ramsey and Alex Iwobi for the trip to Leicester City, while Mark Hughes confirms that Jack Butland won’t be risked against Manchester City. Here’s a summary of the known teams news so far…

Ryan Bertrand remainssidelined for Southampton’s trip to Old Trafford this evening due to an ongoing knee complaint. Claude Puel has confirmed that Jose Fonte is in contention to start after stepping up his fitness in training this week.

Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Alex Iwobi (thigh) have been ruled out until after the international break after they were forced off injured against Liverpool last weekend. Arsene Wenger has conceded he may have to gamble on the fitness of Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud, though won’t start all three. The Gunners boss revealed that Koscielny is the likeliest of the trio to feature in his first XI.

Eddie Howe has confirmed he has “no major concerns” on the injury front as Bournemouth make their way to West Ham on Sunday.

Club record signing Steven Defour could be in line for a start at home to Liverpool, reckons Sean Dyche. Ashley Barnes remains sidelined due to a hamstring injury, whilst the on-loan Jon Flanagan cannot face his parent club.

Mark Hughes has this morning ruled Jack Butland out of a return against Manchester City, whilst Glen Johnson also remains sidelined with a thigh complaint. Shaqiri is also a concern after suffeirng a calf problem in the 1-1- draw with Middlesbrough on the opening day.

Alan Pardew has also updated us this morning with news that both Joe Ledley and Wayne Hennessey are “fitness concerns” ahead of the trip to White Hart Lane. The Eagles boss also indicated that Yohan Cabaye, Jordon Mutch, and James McArthur would likely travel having missed the season opener with West Brom.

Chris Smalling and Paul Pogba are back in contention after serving out one-match suspensions, though Jose Mourinho has admitted that the latter is unable to play 90 minutes due to a lack of match fitness. Jesse Lingard is also available after recovering from a foot problem.

Hugo Lloris is sidelined with a hamstring injury as Spurs welcome Palace to the Lane. Mousa Dembele sits out the fourth of a six-match ban, whilst Heung Min Son has returned from the Olympics and will be assessed.

Sadio Mane remains doubtful for Liverpool’s trip to Burnley with a shoulder injury sustained in training. James Milner and Daniel Sturridge are back in full training, whilst Lucas also has a chance of making it. Mamadou Sakho has stepped up his recovery but is expected to miss out again.

Ronald Koeman will make a late decision on Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Williams’ fitness for Everton’s trip to the Hawthorns. The Belgian returned to full training yesterday without any problems, whilst Williams has stepped up his match fitness over the past week. Seamus Coleman remains absent, though Yannick Bolasie is in line for a debut.

Swansea’s record signing Borja Baston is sidelined with a minor thigh problem. Neil Taylor is likely to miss out again as he builds up his fitness, whilst Leon Britton (illness) is doubtful. Ki Sung-yeung is back in contention to face Hull, with Francesco Guidolin hinting at a start for Gylfi Sigurdsson.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    Foster

Home fixture to Saints or away fixture at Stoke.
The Aguero affect in a Pep team (with Sterling and Nolito looking sharp out wide) edges it for me over Zlatan "one shot one goal" Ibrahimovic!

Would love to have the guts to captain Sanchez to repeat his hat-trick away to Leicester last season, but just owning him is a differential in itself and can't trust Arsenal yet so has to be Kun.

I'm going to go Hazard. Have Ibra and Aguero but just have a hunch Hazard is going to have real fast start this year. I'm sure 95% of people who own Aguero will go for him but I think it's worth a punt at this stage of the season

      A) Feghouli & Long >>> Redmond and 6.0 or less striker for -4
      B) Sit tight and watch Redmond go up 0.1 and risk having to re structure to get him

    Hi Guys,
New to this site (so go easy haha), just came across it and it looks fab so decided to join!
I felt that I was forced to use my FT (hope it doesn't come back to bite me!) in Mkyi OUT Ramirez IN (keeping 4.9m in bank allowing me to transfer in almost anyone next FT). Thoughts?
Gonna go with 4-3-3 and would appreciate your opinion on which DEF to drop to the bench: Friend, Funes Mori, Kone, Morgan?

    My Team:
    Foster / Heaton
Funes Mori /Kone / Morgan / Shaw (Friend)
Ramirez / Hazard / Redmond (Capoue, Fletcher)
    Gray / Ibra (C) / Kun (VC)

    Cheers and GL all

Thanks guys, had dropped Funes Mori and then changed to Friend but on reflection I agree: Morgan to the bench.
Don't know about going with Capoue up against CHE but his new advanced role puts him in the mix for sure.
Indeed my plan was to upgrade Fletcher with my FT next week...was thinking Lamela, Mane or Martial, but that might all change 😉
Cheers again and GL to you both!!

any advice for my team this weekend?

    Foster
    Valencia - Amat - Stones
    Deulofeu - Capoue - Hazard - Tadic
    Ibra - Gray - (C)Kun

    Jaku, Evans, Redmond, Friend

    1. As above (leaning towards this)
    2. Play Evans, sub Deulofeu

Contemplating changing in Martial for Deulofeu/Tadic for next week though (ITB. 2.5)

Considering effective ownership, do you think people who aren't captaining Ibra should be hoping for a low score from him?

No - you still want a big score. Just a score lower than your captain.

So I'm really struggling who to bench out of my defenders, this is how I currently sit:

    Friend, Amat, Stones (Fuchs, Mee)

As Huth and Drinkwater are back in the team do we think we'll see a leicester more like last season?

I'm thinking Amat out for Fuchs.
