Sadio Mane goes into Liverpool’s trip to Burnley as a doubt following a shoulder injury in training. Arsene Wenger will be without both Aaron Ramsey and Alex Iwobi for the trip to Leicester City, while Mark Hughes confirms that Jack Butland won’t be risked against Manchester City. Here’s a summary of the known teams news so far…

Ryan Bertrand remainssidelined for Southampton’s trip to Old Trafford this evening due to an ongoing knee complaint. Claude Puel has confirmed that Jose Fonte is in contention to start after stepping up his fitness in training this week.

Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Alex Iwobi (thigh) have been ruled out until after the international break after they were forced off injured against Liverpool last weekend. Arsene Wenger has conceded he may have to gamble on the fitness of Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud, though won’t start all three. The Gunners boss revealed that Koscielny is the likeliest of the trio to feature in his first XI.

Eddie Howe has confirmed he has “no major concerns” on the injury front as Bournemouth make their way to West Ham on Sunday.

Club record signing Steven Defour could be in line for a start at home to Liverpool, reckons Sean Dyche. Ashley Barnes remains sidelined due to a hamstring injury, whilst the on-loan Jon Flanagan cannot face his parent club.

Mark Hughes has this morning ruled Jack Butland out of a return against Manchester City, whilst Glen Johnson also remains sidelined with a thigh complaint. Shaqiri is also a concern after suffeirng a calf problem in the 1-1- draw with Middlesbrough on the opening day.

Alan Pardew has also updated us this morning with news that both Joe Ledley and Wayne Hennessey are “fitness concerns” ahead of the trip to White Hart Lane. The Eagles boss also indicated that Yohan Cabaye, Jordon Mutch, and James McArthur would likely travel having missed the season opener with West Brom.

Chris Smalling and Paul Pogba are back in contention after serving out one-match suspensions, though Jose Mourinho has admitted that the latter is unable to play 90 minutes due to a lack of match fitness. Jesse Lingard is also available after recovering from a foot problem.

Hugo Lloris is sidelined with a hamstring injury as Spurs welcome Palace to the Lane. Mousa Dembele sits out the fourth of a six-match ban, whilst Heung Min Son has returned from the Olympics and will be assessed.

Sadio Mane remains doubtful for Liverpool’s trip to Burnley with a shoulder injury sustained in training. James Milner and Daniel Sturridge are back in full training, whilst Lucas also has a chance of making it. Mamadou Sakho has stepped up his recovery but is expected to miss out again.

Ronald Koeman will make a late decision on Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Williams’ fitness for Everton’s trip to the Hawthorns. The Belgian returned to full training yesterday without any problems, whilst Williams has stepped up his match fitness over the past week. Seamus Coleman remains absent, though Yannick Bolasie is in line for a debut.

Swansea’s record signing Borja Baston is sidelined with a minor thigh problem. Neil Taylor is likely to miss out again as he builds up his fitness, whilst Leon Britton (illness) is doubtful. Ki Sung-yeung is back in contention to face Hull, with Francesco Guidolin hinting at a start for Gylfi Sigurdsson.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    Play three out of:

Valencia, Stones, Evans, Friend and Morgan.

And best mid 5.5 and under?

      Best 5.5m is Gaston Ramirez.

    Foster, Jak
    Shaw, Stones, Kone, Friend, Amat
    Hazard, Mahrez, Tadic, Phillips, Fletcher
    Kun. Ibra, Gray

Is Amat, Tadic, Phillips and Fletcher to Baines, Redmond, Ramirez and Capoue worth a WC ?

I would do it tonight to avoid possible Tadic, Redmond and Capoue price changes.

      Debating Townsend > Lamela
If I did not already have Firmino it would be Lallana
Not sure if he will do better than Lamela overall, possibly on par but a good option.

Depends if you want any other players. I'd personally wait as Amat's not nailed after these few games either and get another nailed fodder, when everything is more clear. Marc Wilson or Brad Smith could be a straters for Bournemouth.

Its a beautiful Ibra Land Part Deux.

A lot you looking at stats about how Zlatan had bad stats. Zlatan defies stats. Just need to have a look at his contribution to the game to realize this. I'll take you lads through this.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpBVfar9Iw8

He's not got a shot but United are just about learning how to use him. He's quality who won't need that many chances as we've already seen. He tanks 2 defenders in the box here and he's going to keep on repeating this week on week. Can't be dominated physically by any defender in the league.

Set up Rooney easily for a goal and should have buried it. Rooney decided to dive instead.

Exquisite touch to set Rooney up easily again who again misses a great chance

    That free kick.

He was through on goal and just for fun decided to square it to Mkhi instead.

So his stats, whichever there are are super quality and he almost affects goal scoring directly.

(Roo is a great option but i just thing Zlatan is incredibly quality. His shots outside the box as good as shots inside the box. Being a United fan, its a dream to have your marquee player be a great FPL option) and watching him week in week out is a pleasure.

Makes me wet, this Zlatan lad. Don't look at his stats. Look at his quality.
Also, here is Mourinho talking about how he intends on using Zlatan.

    ON SCORERS LINGARD AND IBRAHIMOVIC
“Zlatan will be more dangerous when we are more dominant and play closest to the box. Zlatan is not a very fast player to play 50 metres away from the box like where Vardy can be dangerous. Zlatan needs the team to play, he needs the team to produce and he needs the team to be arriving in the final third. It's something that we also have to change because the profile of this team was more about possession of the ball. Even arriving in crossing positions, the team normally plays back again and tries to change to the other side. We are trying to change. The reality is the second goal is a great example of that.”

    Bottomed

I think with a hot Liverpool playing burnley, the striker spot could be a great fpl player. I see it being either studge or origi, but for me origi gets the nod, I'm questioning wether klopp will rush sturridge back into a full 90 mins just as he's come back from an injury (all be it just a knock, but a knock for sturridge is still a worry)

      Current Line up

      Foster / Jaku
Kone / Amat / Valencia (Stones / Friend)
Hazard / Lamela / Firmino / Redmond (Capoue)
      Kun / Ibra / Gray
      1m ITB

      Do i:
      1) stay as is
      2) Play any of my bench players
      3) Play Bench boost? fairly decent match ups for all
      4) Make a transfer, probably bringing in Baines or Williams (+0.5m) for Friend/Kone
      5) 3+4

but not all your Players get 2 games in a double game week anyway... so youll just not play the ones who arnt.

Its one game, hes the main guy, happy to stick with him for another game at least. what did Carroll show you last week that Gray didnt. As for Rondon, he plays for Pulis's WBA his opportunities will be limited. So holding another week

Some day somebody's gonna make you want to
        Turn around and say goodbye
Until then baby are you going to let them
Hold you down and make you cry
        Don't you know?
Don't you know things can change
        Things'll go your way
If you hold on for one more day
Can you hold on for one more day
        Things'll go your way
Hold on for one more day

I want them to both score this week so this holds more relevance.

Need it like I need air to breathe.

Wilson Phillips 🙂 People don't make music like that anymore - every song nowadays sounds the same.

So I've been setting up some scripts to scrape my mini-league data and came across a couple of curious variables:

      total_loans total_loans_active

New chip incoming in the future?

Fiso has a simple one: https://ratemyteam.uk/Fiso/SideGameData/LEAGUEID/1

Sky sources understand Crystal Palace have agreed a £32m fee with Liverpool for Christian Benteke.

If you had Fuchs would you play him this week?

      Current defence is:

      Friend, Amat, stones (Fuchs, mee)

With Huth and drink water back maybe we'll see a bit more of Leicester of old?

Plus there's always the goal threat.

And would you then Bench friend or Amat?

      Thanks!
