Gameweek 2 rolls into Sunday with a lunchtime Wear-Tees derby clash.

Sunderland play host to a Middlesbrough side that earned a draw in their opening home encounter with Stoke City on day one. David Moyes’ side also emerged with some credit from their first fixture, losing out to Man City by a narrow 2-1 margin having equalised via a Jermain Defoe goal.

Defoe will once again carry the goal scoring burden for the Black Cats today, who are without Fabio Borini due to a toe injury. Moyes gives home debuts to Donald Love, Paddy McNair and Adnan Januzaj, while Papy Djilobodji earns his full debut at the back.

Aitor Karanka begins to rotate his Boro troops by bringing in Cristhian Stuani for Albert Adomah. Victor Valdes misses out with a training ground knock, opening the way for Brad Guzan to earn his debut in goal.

Really pleased with my team atm (ranked top 10k) and have 2 FTs. Only player that is annoying me is Firmino.

Would you:

a) Transfer Firmino (probably to Barkley)

b) Change my 4.0 keeper who doesn't play to Jaku and my 4.0 defender who doesn't play to Amat the activate bench boast ASAP to take advantage of 15 players who will all start.

  Don't really get your question, but if you need to use a transfer look at the player that hasn't performed for you, look at his fixtures and see if there is a better fit out there for the same price.

    It is debatable whether Deulofeu is at the moment though! And without it I'll be missing out on the Ibra points.

I've been reading the articles/forums on this site for a while now and without doubt my fantasy performances have improved due to the common sharing of knowledge (wisdom of the crowd so to speak - everybody inputting their individual chinks of knowledge to create a shared source of information). It occurred to me that we could use this abundance of knowledge to predict results. Basically if a group of us with a history of high rankings, say inside the top 100,000 (i think this would be a decent indicator of ones ability to predict successfully) focused on 4/5 matches per gameweek and made a prediction for each; we could amalgamate those probabilities and i'd be interested to see how accurate they turned out. Ideally, Monday participants would form an informed opinion and then alter that as the week progressed based upon - research, injury news, reading the views of others etc. then offering a final probability on Friday. Would anyone be interested in this?

  odd transfer after seeing Liverpool's defensive performance last week.
  
  But i feel ya, spent 4 FTs last season getting Carroll in and out at time periods last season. got a couple of returns but nothing much to justify the transfers.
  
  Good fantasy asset but inefficient use of transfers to warrant a spot in my team. Never again.

    To be fair Gray only had 1 shot versus Liverpool IIRC, with Burnley just managing a total of 2 shots. Scored on both, won't happen every week.
