Dugout Discussion – West Ham vs Bournemouth

The London Stadium hosts the final match of Gameweek 2 as West Ham attempt to settle in their plush new home.

Slaven Bilic’s side host a Bournemouth outfit who claimed a 4-3 victory in the same fixture just over a year ago, via a Callum Wilson hat-trick.

Looking at the West Ham teamsheet, Eddie Howe’s men will fancy their chances again.

The Hammers head into this encounter without both Andy Carroll and Dimitri Payet – the latter “felt something” after his appearance at Chelsea on Monday night, whilst Carroll has sustained a knee injury which will keep him out for a number of weeks according to Slaven Bilic.

As for the Cherries, they appear to have changed shape and seem to be going on the attack: Howe has introduced Ryan Fraser on the flank, with Lewis Cook dropping out.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Concerned Alli owner.
    Benched against Palace, but came on and looked very lively.
    His price is going down tonight, but I think I will stick with him.

      A) Too unreliable for me but great fixtures
      B) Won't score enough goals imo to warrant his price
      C) If you do this Firm will probably score a hattrick next week + no Cout points
      D) Decent fixtures + playing well
      E) Looks promising but his end product is questionable

      Personally I would go with Lamela, this also gives you funds to upgrade elsewhere, but if you're feeling punty I'd go with Sterling

      I have him. With Zlatan and Aguero upfront I think the 1.6 difference is too much. Bolasie had 12 assists when Palace finsihed 11th or something like that. Bolasie in a good squad can do miracles. At Palace he had almost no support.

    West Ham are chasing Manchester City's Wilfried Bony, according to the Daily Mail.

    The Hammers have reportedly asked to take Bony on loan, with Slaven Bilic looking for cover for the injured Andre Ayew who is facing up to four months out.

    The 27-year-old Ivory Coast international has several offers to consider including one from China but is said to be interested in a move to the Olympic Stadium.

    My resistance is weak, I think I'm bringing Ibrahimovic in this GW.

    He's nailed on, in form, on pens and on some direct free kicks.

    He can always be downgraded when this form tales off but now he is almost essential.

      He is imo just like Aguero. You can't ignore him. And the other options like Lukaku, Kane, Rooney, Vardy and Costa are not worth it.

      Midfield can still be good. I have Aguero and Zlatan + Hazard, Tadic, Lamela, Bolasie, Bojan.

          Maybe Long for now then, because he's got a few nice fixtures in the next 5 or so (some rubbish ones too mind), then Hernandez's become good and there may be a few other options coming into play.

    Liking the Bolasie love on here, everyone said he was overpriced. Yes his past form doesn't warrant his price tag but he is explosive, power pacey and skillful and with better players around him; if nailed he could be fantasy gold.

      He is not overpriced at all.

      A good option but he will be rotated - there's no escaping that. There's been lots of times in the past when he's looked bang in form and gone on good runs. I'd just wait until we see that over a couple games. 3 games too early and all that hat..
