Dugout Discussion – Hull City vs Man United

Hull City and Manchester United conclude the day’s events with a top of the table clash at the KCOM stadium.

Against the odds, both teams go into the tea-time kick-off having won both their opening matches, with Tigers boss Mike Phelan working miracles with a threadbare squad.

Not surprisingly, both Hull and United are unchanged. Whilst that could be down to very limited options in Phelan’s case, Jose Mourinho chooses to keep his winning side intact, with Chris Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan again named on the bench.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Coutinho does seem a bit more advanced than Firm at times. But Firm has more quality imo

        Firm was everywhere today in fairness.

        It's a tough call and very similar really. Maybe the extra on Firm pays for that slight bit more consistency in terms of ticking over with more regular points, but I can't split them at this stage.

          You think? Imo Bilic thought Byram was too raw and had the idea of playing attacking full backs with Antonio and Cresswell, but everyone and his dog has gotten on Slav's back about Antonio RB. (including rumours suggest the players themselves)

          Now with Masuaku over Cresswell who is more attacking imo, and with Byram's solid performacnes I see it being his for the foreseeable future.
