The Numbers Game – Premium Midfielders and Forwards

It’s fair to say that Sergio Aguero’s three-match suspension has changed the landscape across Fantasy games as we look for solutions to the Argentine’s enforced absence.

For many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers, wildcards have been the order of the day, allowing us to distribute funds across the midfield and forward positions whilst penciling in plans for the Argentine’s return in Gameweek 6.

Having assessed some of the most impressive mid-price midfielders and forwards in separate articles earlier in the week, we now look to the premium options in both categories, seeking out the form options and highlighting some overlooked alternatives.

      Foster has been bouncing off the 100 for a week now

      So best guess is 0% chance for all 4.
      They will go up Saturday night.

    Have to love FFFix... Thought I'd see what they think I should do to optimise my squad this week and they suggested transferring Ozil -> Martial (The exact transfer I made the opposite way this week), playing Jaku over Foster and giving Jaku the VC armband over players including Ibra and Ozil.. 😐

              Only for Feghouli.
              Can he make it in time for a cup game against lower div team.

    Bottomed out so I'll try this again:

    Any tips on this wildcard team?

    Foster
    Jagielka - Valencia - Holebas
    Antonio - Barkley - Sanchez - Hazard
    Ibra - Negredo - Benteke

    Pickford - Capoue - Kone - Holebas - Stones

    0.7 ITB

    Plan is:

    Negredo or Benteke ---> Aguero
    Sanchez ---> Fer/King/Janujaz/Puncheon

        I learnt last year on the FPL to risk it more with players who aren't on everyone's squad always choose at least 3 differentials in your team.

                Right I get your poin about WHU defense who would bring in instead of Masuaku? Reason why Stauni & Love are in was to strengthen the squad and bring Aguero back in tow GW's besides both probably will be on the bench anyway.

          they actually need to outscore the players the masses own otherwise it's pointless.

      Too much in defence and not a fan of Utd double defenders either, maybe Shaw > Friend, Stones > Kone (or McCauley), Barkley > Antonio, Grabban > Negredo.

    All those players we're not considering on W/C will probably be on our transfer list next week:

    Kane
    Payet
    Firmino
    Koscielny / Bellerin

    Any others?

    A difficult question regarding strikers;

    I already have Ibra and Benteke.

    Who should I add to them out of Defoe/Rondon/Negredo/Bony and why?

    Any input is greatly appreciated.
