Finally it’s upon us.

We emerge from the darkness of an international break to be thrown into the biggest match-up of the season as Manchester United face Manchester City at Old Trafford – Jose Mourino versus Pep Guardiola.

The appetite and expectation for this match is huge. Even without the presence of Sergio Aguero for the visitors, the sheer volume of talent on show is somewhat bewildering.

Fantasy managers will have mixed feelings. There will be those hoping for a spectacle and for the goals to flow, whilst others, perhaps banking on defensive acquisitions, will be looking for this stormy fixture to pass without significant incident and with clean sheets preserved.

One thing seems certain – we are not about to be eased back into domestic action. Even this early in the campaign, there are reputations at stake that will ensure this will be a gripping encounter.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Yes. I'm a bit biased but I thought City got away with a lot more than Utd did.

Most shaky performance I have ever seen from a keeper. He looked a liability Everytime the ball was near the box.

Man City defended very very well and saved some of his blushes.

That was bit of a thriller, feel ok as Ibra non c owner, hoping for Haz performance. Best bit so far.. seeing a ML rival's TC DG punt disappearing in wisps of smoke before 45min had passed. Rest well Kun, your team's in good hands, Really gonna enjoy the 'Maureen' post-match lol

Sanchez may end up playing only 1 game for me

Selling him is the route to getting Kun back, Unless i sell Ibra or Hazard. Tough decisions ahead

    Thoughts ?

Spurs fas or those interested in spurs

w/ Dembele bak, against SUN, would it be fair to say Sisoko,Wanyama, jansen will go to bench and probable/ideal lineup shall be:

    kane
    eriksen - alli - lamela
    dembele - dier

    probable lineup today:
    kane
    eriksen - alli - sissoko
    wanyama - dier
    **bench Jansen, Lamela

Lamela and Kane are safe from rotation imo

WC first draft had a Sanchez-Sterling pairing. Strategically it may not have been a bad shout, but I'm glad to reap the short-term benefits today. Especially if Payet delivers.
