Dugout Discussion – Sunderland vs Everton

Gameweek 4 comes to its conclusion this evening as Sunderland welcome Everton to the Stadium of Light.

Both sides roll up in contrasting form – whilst the Black Cats have yet to win, their visitors are unbeaten so far under new manager Ronald Koeman.

Two goals in the first three means Jermain Defoe is the man most likely to help David Moyes get one over his former club.

At the other end of the pitch, Patrick van Aanholt netted in his previous home appearance and Jordan Pickford’s owners are boosted by another start for the 4.0-price keeper.

For the Toffees, Ross Barkley is by far the most popular FPL pick, sitting in over 18% of squads.

With Koeman’s side set for an excellent run of fixtures, this evening’s match allows us the opportunity to also scout the likes of Leighton Baines, Romelu Lukaku and potentially even Kevin Mirallas, who starts for the fourth straight fixture under the Dutchman.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      I guess it was easy to stand out when you are the only source of CBIs at Swansea. Jags also gets many CBIs and Baines and Coleman get the crosses.

    Congrats to those who C Lukaka. somehow should have gone C as eden is not as clear C choice when away.

    I have Lukaka and glad, but changed the C last min to eden on Haz's allure. big mistake

Lived in belgium so pretty confident in spelling their names. lukaka is for a laugh, but given your bitterness, you just disregard my post.

        Dont say that as the owners will come out. I dont care as glad his owners got lucky but thats what it was. A lucky pick based on hope as out of form and no goals. Thats the decisions you need to make to get ahead. Guy is based on a lot of luck at the end of the day.

            That's a bit harsh tbf, i don't consider it luck. I watched him play in his comeback match and the game after and he had chances and looked decent, it's not just hope it was analysis too. Do you consider Costa lucky for not being sent off when he should be
