Next up this Tuesday evening, we delve into the Opta data from Gameweek 5 in the first members’ article of the week. West Ham and Arsenal’s midfields are put under the microscope, while we also turn our attentions to Tottenham’s attack and Eden Hazard’s form as the fixtures turn against Chelsea.

foster pickford
baines Valencia stones evans amat
sanchez hazard sterling bolasie capoue
aguero costa grabban-
It was all going so well until Lewis Grabban.
-
next vardy maybe haha
-
-
Not so sure on Stones, done nowt so far and fixtures not great apart from that looks ok
-
agree totally with you there but at 5mil for a city defender looks a steal
-
-
-
On WC:
A) Valencia + Williams
B) Baines + Lovren
to partner with Evans, Holebas, Amat?-
B
-
A
-
A
-
A
-
-
Choose?
A) Chadli
B) Snodgrass-
Short term A, Longer term B.
-
-
Is it right to assume that Son will be OOP as a replacement for Harry Kane? Great fixtures and a nice price
-
What if Jannsen plays
-
No. Fully expecting Janssen to play up front.
-
I'm taking a wait and see approach. Most think Janssen will fill the void
-
cheers, wasn't sure which is why I asked,

Anyone got a strong reason for saving my wildcard?
I need to get Aguero back and possibly Ibra out as if rather spend the money on Sanchez.. Also have Costa and hazard one of whom may have to make way.thoughts ? -
Hi guys, please rate my WC team
Heaton, Pickford
Holebas, Williams, Jagielka, Lovren, Amat
Sterling, Snodgrass, Antonio, Capoue, Firmino
Lukaku, Aguero, Ibrahimovic
Plan is to have double Everton at the back for (bou & CPL) and then Jagielka > C.Davies in GW8
No Sanchez but he has less ownership than Ibra & Lukaku so he won't hurt as much as not owning these two.
What do you guys think?-
Looks good to me. Would like a WBA defender over Lovren or Jagielka.

Our ideas of what is "essential" to have in our teams seems to be changing every week or two now. My team is far from what is currently considered ideal, but I think I'll stick with it an see what happens up to the next international break.
-
Says the tinkerman
-
Haha, you've got me there. I've been considering a lot of changes, particularly in midfield. Having already got Kun in, anything I can do would take hits, so the best course of action seems to be to save 2FT and wait out the international break.
-
-
Same here, I'm saving my WC. Have most of the "essential" players anyway
-
Aye. I dont feel using my WC on just getting Aguero soon as he's back makes sense when my team is
De gea
Azpi walker stones
Antonio hazard sterling firmino
Ibra lukaku negredo
All perfectly good options most on decent form or capable of big scores and only lukalu yellow flag.
-
-
I dont go in for the essential phrase lark. Or the knee jerk phrase though.
Nobody is essential all the time. And grabbing those on form is wise not fickle. The key for me is being set up to be flexible so as to quickly be able to get the short-mid term key players but everyone is subject to the chop if circumstances suit.
-
-
What keeper combos are people running with??
-
Did you catch my post the other day about getting the .1 you needed for your ideal team?
-
No I didn't dude. I'll search your profile for it though, cheers in advance 🙂
-
Missed the Costa rise! Argh cheers for the advice anyway mate 😉
-
That's a shame mate as it pretty much relied on you bringing Costa in and hoping for a double rise but he of course has gone up since
-

Any Mahrez owners out there?
Deciding who to drop between him and Haz to fund my Aguero move. Was going to be Mahrez, but I like Leicester going forward now with the Slimani addition. Also Haz these last two games has been far from convincing. -
Azpi 2-2.
-
Azpi screamer!
-
Azpi 2-2 screamer
-
Fantastic strike. Not sure Chelsea deserve to be level though...

Hi All
I am struggling to find out how to scroll across on the members's season ticker so that I can look at a set of fixtures from GW8 for example, can anyone help?-
Use the slider down the bottom.
-
Thanks TM
-
Ha, cant believe I missed that!
-
-
-
-
Coutinho again. Anyone know his record under Klopp?
-
12g 6a in 35
-
-
AZZZZPPIIII!!!!!! WOWWWWWWW
-
Bottomed (sort of) :
On WC: if I decide to bring in ShawoddySnoddy alongside Sanchez, Firmino & Capoue, would you go A or B (Kun owner obvs):
A) Sterling
B) Antonio-
I did sterling because City is amazing
-
-
Slimani worth a punt on a WC?
-
Think he will do well just not sure on the fixtures at this moment in time
-
Not yet but watchlist
-
I wouldn't like to predict which strikers we will start around CL ties, the only one I'd say with any confidence is Vardy. In theory Slimani will now partner him, but Musa, Ulloa and Okazaki will get minutes in there.
-
-
This Coutinho guy seems alright
-
Great strike that.
Tekaboo my son, as Andy Gray would say. -
No Lukaku, City or Liverpool. Looking forward to another 200k drop
-
Sounds similar to me, but at least I have Kun back now.
-
-
Lovren's place under threat from Klavan ?
-
No.
-
-
Heaton (Jaku)
Baines-Valencia-McAuley(Amat)(Kingsley)
Firminho-Capoue-Antonio-Cazorla(Barry)
Kun-Zlatan-Costa
My WC team,
Any changes? Midfield is a bit weak but happy with rest-
Downgrade Costa and buy Deeney!
Sold Cazorla and buy Sterling/Ozil/Mahrez or Kdb (if you have enough founds for him)
Going without ManCity MID is not good for WC Team.
Cheers!-
Cheers mate, would you risk double watford then. Cazorla on pens and price is tempting for arsenal cover I think. Would like sterling or kdb if I can afford
-
-
-
Coutinho tempting me over Firmino at this rate
-
Scores one goal and he is the next big thing eh? he is far too inconsistent. 5 blanks next.
-
assist weekend on top after missing game before
-
-
they are playing derby county... Domt make decision based on this game
-
-
Not to be a JK about things, but... I was gonna get Son last GW but couldn't afford him.
Bow down to my masterful foresight you bandwaggoning peasants. -
Would love to see Yaya in Man U next year
-
lol
-
You're probably alone there.
-
-
Might ignore Antonio and get Coutinho and Firmino
-
Could do well
-
-
Like all of you Lads I have some Kun problems.
At the moment I do not have him.
Kun Will come in my WC team during next international break
My Team are below (Playing 3-5-2)
Heaton (Jaku)
Baines-Stones-McAuley (Pieters, Amat)
Haz-Sanchez-Sterling-Capue-Redmond
Kane-Ibra (Diomande)
What to doo?
A) Kane and Redmond > Firmino and Deeney
B) Kane and Redmond > Payet and Deeney
Tnx! -
0-3 Liverpool. Origi
-
Pool got goals in them this year.
-
Shame it's not just one or two hogging them all though
-
-
Sooooo. Coutinho or Firmino on WC?
-
Mane
