Next up this Tuesday evening, we delve into the Opta data from Gameweek 5 in the first members’ article of the week. West Ham and Arsenal’s midfields are put under the microscope, while we also turn our attentions to Tottenham’s attack and Eden Hazard’s form as the fixtures turn against Chelsea.
-
Vardy coming on looks loaded with caffine again..
-
Joke donkey defending from Luiz
-
2-0 to Norwich. Everton are going out, good for us.
-
What a goal too, boom top corner
-
Not a bad outcome from a fantasy perspective, would prefer EVE focus on the PL.
-
-
A. Havard > KDB (-4)
B. Hazard > Sterling (-4)
C. Save
Have no funds for Kun-

Valencia to Dann? Agree or give Valencia more time?
-
No way. Defo wait on Valencia
-
OK cheers - just checking. Agree will stick. Have Walker and Williams too so happy with that back 3.
-
-
Expecting Utd to tighten up at the back, I'd give him time
-
-
If you can't afford Sanchez who is the best Arsenal MF to have out of
Cazorla or Walcott
and
Is Lallana nailed on in the Liverpool Midfield
Any ideas on those two questions would be welcomed-
Cazorla is more nailed than Walcott. Not sure about Lallana being nailed or not.
-
These are all sub standard options. Caz for sure over wally. Lallana is a non option really. Better options at similar price elsewhere. Coverage isnt important.
-
-
Can we have a smooth start on time please for the Scoutcast?!
-
Expect 10pm, anything earlier is a bonus.
-
-
Owners of Stones, what are your thoughts? Are still keeping him, he's only 5.0m
-
He's also...
- A huge liability
- Crap
- Rotation Risk
- Crap -
Stones > Monreal/Kos after this week.
-
no
-
other pressing moves on the card. Wouldn't keep on WC
-
Yeah, kolarov might get all the easy games too
-
-
Personally believe Williams is a better option at that price, if I already had Baines I'd go for Stones though
-
Jags or Williams look much better for that price looking at fixtures
-
Not much better options for the price, I would keep
-
Keeping - surely he's in the plans and he's not played too badly
-
Would love to get rid, sadly have bigger problems in my team
-
Bringing him in on a WC. Best option at the 5.0 range
-
He's good, it was just kolarov that put me off, spraying all those passe. he was better than stones
-
-
-
Tonight
Firmino 1 assist
Coutinho 1 goal 2 assists-
We know. Make sure you get Coutinho and not Firmino
-
I would if he wasn't a rotation risk
-
Firmino will be better in thelong run
-
Well on that logic Firmino is the rotation risk. Sturridge most likely to be benched however
-
-
-
How many minutes did each play? Firm looking like he'll start vs Hull?
-
-
Kevin Bacon and Britney. Cringeworty
-
Have they done it again?
-
Yep, gets worse every time
-
-
-
Never in all these years I have been supporting Chelsea did I see defending that shambolic
-
How many years I that, since they last won the league? 😉
-
Been watching since 2003
-
You won't recall Chelsea were a nothing club for years then. Used to be a constant mid table team till late 90's
-
Pretty sure someone would be able to come up with a fact about whatever club you support and I dont even support Chelsea
-
Hey Worzel, are you cool with electronically shaking hands? It is a fantasy football website, no need for bad blood right? In a lot of ways, we are all in this together.
-
Where's the handshake emoji? I have no idea how to do them 🙂 Yes, no problem at all. I know we had a few comments last night but it is all forgotten as soon as I post tbh.
-
Yeah no idea how to do that either, but we're cool, thanks.
-
-
-
-
Yeah I wouldn't indeed 🙂
-
-
-
-
Last year?
-
Not as bad as the shiit im seeing right now. Im about to have a stroke
-
Conceeded avg 2 per game until end of October.
-
We kinda have been conceeding 2 per game in the last month
-
Just gotta keep that up for 3 more months and then you can worry.
-
-
-
-
-
did you not watch that Arsenal game when Van Persie ripped yous a new arse
-
Pretty sure we are defending worse in this game
-
-
Well if you were only born in 93 that would explain it 🙂
-
Bingo!
-
-
Do the years pre date Abramovic or are you like most other Chelsea fans? 😉
-
I started watching the EPL in 2003 so I don't know what that makes me
-
Young 😉
-
-
-
I remember Wayne Bridge inspired Southamptontearing us a new one at home 4-2
Those days you half expected it-
I remember tony cascarino and john spencer were the strike force
-
Mark stein 🙂
-
Peter Osgood
-
-
We don't need another hero...
-
Just before my time. I really got involved in the Gullit vialli wise era. Great days
-
-
-
-
Coutinho & Firmino taken off to preserve themy for the weekend?
-
Yes
-
That or their legs have fallen off
-
That was Sturridge
-
-
-
Anyone think Lallana would be an option?
Seems very important to Klopp and was rested today for the weekend.-
yes gave it some serious thought but have been swayed on here and went firminho and coutinho, Klopp seems to like him a lot
-
If going Sanchez or KDB, budget might dictate that. Firmino or Mané seem to be the preferred ones, though.
-
-
A) Hazard --> De Bruyne
B) Barkley --> Sterling-
Approved
-
sorry which one i meant

Aguero 13.1 by deadline?
-
Impossible
-
Oh, how come?
-
When flag is lifted his transfers will be reset to zero
-
and price protected for 7 days
-
-
-
-
-
Should we expect double drop for Ibra this GW? In that case it would make sense to sell at 11.7, and buy back Saturday morning at same price, thus retaining selling price.
-
How many mins till Scoutcast ?
-
20 at least
-
-
Perez 3-0
-
Dial up?
-
Just seen it was 12 minutes ago, haha my bad
-
-
-
a) Firmino + Clyne
or
b) Mane + Lovren?-
Firmino + Lovren.
Comfortably.-
Why no love for Clyne?
-
He's not worth the extra spend.
Tbh, I'm 60/40 in favour of not getting a Liverpool defender at all.
Honestly though, the 0.6 saving will buy you more points than Getting Clyne over Lovren will net you

This

Stay away from opool def

-
christ ...rarely do early transfers, but glad i made my swaps yesterday, would have been insanely annoying to come in today and be 0.2 down on getting aguero in 😕
-
a) Sanchez + Ibrahimovic + Fletcher
or
b) Ibrahimovic + Sterling + Snodgrass
or
c) Sanchez + Sterling + Deeney-
Well, I'm currently on C.
Front 8 of:
Sanchez Firmino Antonio Sterling Cap
Aguero Deeney Lukaku-
Yeah, that's pretty much where I am.
Just wondering if it's worth squeezing both Sanchez and Ibrahimovic in, and keeping Capoue as 4th mid.-
Yeah that's the dilemma I have.
I sold Ibra last night to get Aguero before he rose and also before IBRA dropped (didn't happen but is tonight).
If I change my mind and want him back before deadline he will only cost me an extra 0.1 so not the end of the world.
I think what it comes down too for me is, something doesn't quite feel right about Capoue being my 4th mid. -
And also, if I'm keeping Caloue as 5th mid whom I will always bench, might be better off selling for Fletcher and using the 0.3 elsewhere
-
-
-
-
Costa dead
-
Back alive

Is Worzel Gummidge around? Just read the comments to a post I made yesterday, he seems to have taken wrong. I'm an American in London this week for work and I use Yo Brits as a term of endearment, no harm meant mate. Hope all is well with you.
-
Yo Brits is like the C word in some counties
-
It's worse than that for me. I'm Scottish. Brit is a proper insult. Calling me a Brit is like calling our American friend here a Canadian.
-
Canadians are fantastic. Best sense of humor anywhere as far as I have come across. But yeah they tend to have nasty maple syrup habits.
-
-
-
Are you a werewolf by any chance?
-
Lol, ok thanks for the feedback. Will stop using that immediately.
-
Well I for one find Yo Brits to be highly offensive. That's even more sick than hiding the remote control.
-
-
Finally Pedro is off, I hope he never plays for Chelsea again
-
he's been a terrible buy. when arsenal bought sanchez I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't pedro - silly me
-
Silly you indeed. Utd also dodged a bullet there
-
-
-
Wasi off.
-
Sent off*
-
-
hazard on
-
I'd love him to get some momentum tonight
-
Subbes by Wasilewski 😉

-
Wasilewski OFF
-
Wasilewiski red
-
Poor Costa such a victim, bless
-
A) McAuley Capoue Deeney 3-4-3
B) Walker Pereyra Diomande 3-5-2
Think Pereyra may be the Watford attacker to have.
