Saturday’s events draw to a close at the Emirates as two heavyweights collide in the tea-time kick-off.

Arsenal host Antonio Conte’s Chelsea as both sides bid to keep pace with a perfect Manchester City at the top of the table.

The big team news finds Cesc Fabregas back in the Blues line-up following his midweek brace in the EFL Cup – Oscar makes way.

Fantasy managers will be more concerned with the fortunes of Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez heads into the encounter with goals and confidence flowing, although worringly, he has failed to score in his last four league appearances in front of his home fans.

Costa has five goals for the season, notching in four of his five Gameweeks, while Hazard will be looking to break a run of two blanks having been sold by over 350,000 FPL managers ahead of Gameweek 6.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

No, not really. They looked dreadful for the last two games as a whole, not playing as a team at all. They seem like a bunch of lazy primadonnas again. Hull won't make it easy for Chelsea.

So according to the stats Firmino created more chances than Sanchez today and was also more dangerous than Sanchez. In fact, his ITC Index is higher than any of the players in my team who have actually scored points. Interesting and odd at the same time.

Not that odd if you take into the consideration that they were obliged to dominate the game against a 10-men Hull. They got the red card in the 30th minute or something?

Arsenal did not even try to attack in the second half.

Still, anyone selling Firmino to get a different Liverpool mid could regret it with those stats.

    3. MTPockets

Didn't see the game but radio 5 live were complimentary. Caller (fan) at the game said he was the best player on the pitch. Obviously anecdotal and fpl points can be a different matter,

So I had Baines and Lovren in my team, but neither of them played. Does that mean that the points from my first two players on the bench (Capoue and Holebas) will count instead?

      yes mate

Your 2 defenders on the bench will come in. If you don't have 2 defenders on the bench, Capoue will come in.

      1. dark91
        • 10 Years
        9 years, 9 months ago

I don't think Capoue will come in for a defender, if you have 5 defenders and only 1 played then you get points from only 1 defender and miss the other 4

Hard to know. Martial, Mkhitaryan and Rooney (who replaced Rashford today when he came off) will be in and out of the team at different. Hard to know what will happen. For example, if Zlatan gets rested in a non PL game then maybe Rashford will play up front, which will then make him a doubt for the following PL game.

It has probably been mentioned earlier, but Baines might return for Friday's game, according to Koeman.

"Leighton Baines has a slight hamstring problem," he said. "It was too risky to play him today. He might be back next Friday."

Save. Rashford isn't guaranteed starts and Benteke will outscore Deeney.

Is Ozil to Sanchez a little sideways?

Stops me from bringing in Snodgrass as a fifth mid to rotate with Capoue.

Hesitancy is that Ozil will play number 10 all season and takes corners. Sanchez has been playing out of position really and will at some point get pushed out wide, restricting his output.

I'm gonna have to take a minus 4 too if I do it. Probably Firmino to Coutinho as 0.1 mill short otherwise.
