After Saturday treated us to eight matches and 29 goals, we have just a solitary fixture to focus our attentions on today.

West Ham welcome Southampton to the London Stadium as Slaven Bilic attempts to halt a run of three straight Premier League losses.

Both sides chalked up EFL Cup wins in midweek, yet while the Saints saw off Palace to rack up a third successive victory in all competitions, the Hammers had to rely on a last-minute free-kick from Dimitri Payet to see off Accrington Stanley.

With a pair of assists in each of the last two Gameweeks, the Frenchman has been in fine form since returning from injury.

Nonetheless, Payet has remained overlooked by many Fantasy managers due to the form of Michail Antonio, who has netted five times in four since being moved onto the flank.

With his defence in disarray, Bilic will be relying on that duo to get the better of a Saints side that have picked up a single point in their two road trips so far.

For the Saints, Nathan Redmond remains their most popular FPL asset despite a four-match barren streak, though Dusan Tadic is the form player heading into this one, having served up an assist in each of the last two Gameweeks.

    Really worried about having no Liverpool coverage in my team.

    Midfield is currently:

    Hazard, Sanchez, Sterling, Capoue.

    Should I bring Coutinho in for Hazard or Sterling?

      You're thinking about selling Sterling even though he's in excellent form in the best attacking side in the league?

      Hazard.

        Yes.

        Hazard plays Hull next week, Sterling plays Spurs.

        I don't think it's that ludicrous.

    I completely agree with those that want to give Antonio time, it's only one blank, great fixtures coming up etc. But at the same time, I agree with those who might want to ship him for the likes of Walcott/Lallana playing for big, in form sides, also with great fixtures, and at around the same price. Don't know why abuse needs to be handed out to anyone on either side of the fence

    1. BbBb
      • 11 Years
      9 years, 6 months ago

      Agreed,I think things are moving much quicker this season with a host of players hitting and dropping out of good form plus fixtures easing or stiffening.
      I feel those that are too slow to react this season will suffer as there are loads of potentially better options than someone who's underperforming.
      That being said I'm keeping Antonio a little bit longer

    2. Greenbackbøøg…
      • 11 Years

      Didn't mean any comments of mine as malicious, it depends on each persons team whether its best to sell Antonio or not

      Yes. People can make whatever transfers they want to. They have to live with the consequences.
      West Ham home advantage is non-existent in the new stadium.

      Agree also. My other worry with Antonio is risk he gets rotated given the form. Surely something needs to change there. I know he has been scoring but could he part of the problem?

      Don't have a problem with people selling Antonio per se. It's the kneejerk "Antonio has to go, awful player" response that irks. Five goals in five games, yet people suddenly say he's terrible.

        Antonio is certainly staying in for me - could've had a goal and an assist and is a beast running with the ball, reminds me of Gareth Bale but on the right. Those with Payet should also keep imo.

        For my transfer(s) it's up to who's injured out of Baines and KDB (if both then I'll take a hit and get someone with form & fixtures in rather than play Amat. Anyone else in same boat?

        A. Hazard to Sanchez,

        This is my team:
        Heaton Pickford
        Valencia Baines Evans masuaku Amat
        Firmino Sterling Antonio snoddy Hoj
        Ibra Kun Kaku
        0itb

        I'm thinking that Sanchez is essential and I have to get him so which way to get him:
        A ibra Antonio --> Rashford/Deeney Sanchez for -4
        B ibra sterling --> rashford/deeney Sanchez for -4
        C ibra --> rashford and get Sanchez next week for no hit
        D save and do ibra Antonio/sterling --> rashford/deeney Sanchez

        Took a hit last week so not sure about taking another hit but it seems that I have to so I can get Sanchez.
        Also want to get rid of masuaku at a point.
