After Saturday treated us to eight matches and 29 goals, we have just a solitary fixture to focus our attentions on today.

West Ham welcome Southampton to the London Stadium as Slaven Bilic attempts to halt a run of three straight Premier League losses.

Both sides chalked up EFL Cup wins in midweek, yet while the Saints saw off Palace to rack up a third successive victory in all competitions, the Hammers had to rely on a last-minute free-kick from Dimitri Payet to see off Accrington Stanley.

With a pair of assists in each of the last two Gameweeks, the Frenchman has been in fine form since returning from injury.

Nonetheless, Payet has remained overlooked by many Fantasy managers due to the form of Michail Antonio, who has netted five times in four since being moved onto the flank.

With his defence in disarray, Bilic will be relying on that duo to get the better of a Saints side that have picked up a single point in their two road trips so far.

For the Saints, Nathan Redmond remains their most popular FPL asset despite a four-match barren streak, though Dusan Tadic is the form player heading into this one, having served up an assist in each of the last two Gameweeks.

    best KDB replacement;

    Sterling, Mane, Coutinho or Hazard?

      Between Sterling or Mane for me. I mean, Mane our Coutinho are basically a coin toss: both are inconsistent but potentially explosive.

    How does my wildcard midfield look?

    Sanchez - Walcott - Son - Lallana - (Fletcher)

    Not entirely sure about Walcott and Son. I realise they're great in the short term but will surely have to get rid down the line. Feel like I should have Sterling in there too.

          Saying that Son could do well at (H) vs Man City but Lallana has the better fixtures go with you gut mate I'd say Lallana as he has good fixtures but they don't mean anything form over fixtures anyday.

    This is my team:
    Heaton Pickford
    Valencia Baines Evans masuaku Amat
    Firmino Sterling Antonio snoddy Hoj
    Ibra Kun Kaku
    0itb

    I'm thinking that Sanchez is essential and I have to get him so which way to get him:
    A ibra Antonio --> Rashford/Deeney Sanchez for -4
    B ibra sterling --> rashford/deeney Sanchez for -4
    C ibra --> rashford and get Sanchez next week for no hit
    D save and do ibra Antonio/sterling --> rashford/deeney Sanchez

    Took a hit last week so not sure about taking another hit but it seems that I have to so I can get Sanchez.
    Also want to get rid of masuaku at a point.
    Any other suggestions??????

      I'll reply since ur so polite.

      Lallana seems the most nailed on and cheap, and his involvement is good.
      Firmino is loved by Klopp and his stats are better than this week's returns suggest.
      Coutinho is explosive and cheap, but goes into hibernation inbetween bursts.

      So Firmino/Lallana > Coutinho for me.

      If u need extra cash, take lallana. Otherwise Firmi

    3. AdamB
      • 9 Years
      9 years, 6 months ago

      I think Firmino is the best option for the long run. One of the first names on the team sheet. More consistent than Coutinho and has more goal-scoring opportunities than Lallana.

    How do I fund Hazard>Sanchez?

    A) Valencia>Holebas (or A. Smith)
    B) Antonio>Snodgrass

    Selling Valencia would leave me with Baines, Kone, Evans and B. Smith as my other defenders. Not really comfortable with that, but so few clean sheets this year..

    Selling Antonio now doesn't seem like a wise move with good fixtures coming up, but West Ham are in shambles and Snodgrass has decent fixtures coming up.

    Can't see any other way of funding Sanchez. Mane, Sterling and Lukaku not going anywhere. Can't get enough funds by selling Defoe for a decent replacement.

    In a front 8 of :

    Bolassie - Antonio - Alexis - Snod - Capoue
    Kun - Ibra - Luk

    what is the most obvious move? Missing some LIV here and it starts hurting me.

    A. Valencia , Bolassie --> Lallana , 4.4 MID
    B. Lukaku , Bolassie --> Mane / Firminho , Deeney / Rashford (and then offload the double utd attack with just keeping Rashford )
    C. Ibra , Bolassie --> Rashford , Mane / Firminho
    D. Antonio, Valencia --> 4.5 MID, Firminho
    I guess most of you would go C but I wanna give Ibra a last chance vs Hull.

    Gents / ladies, I'd appreciate some help. Simple - keep WC until international break or push the button?

    Heaton / Jakup
    Shaw - Bianes - Evans - Stones - Wolscheid
    Haz - Firm - Redmond - Antonio - Cap
    Kun - Costa - WIlson

    Looking at Shaw, Jakup, Haz, manybe Redmond and Wilson as candidates to be shifted. So, WC or stick for a week? 1ft. Cheers all.

          well if you are concerned about rotation as in the Walcott thing then you have to go Lallana over Son on that same basis. Also, Arsenal are scoring as well as the two teams you mention and have arguably easier fixtures. I personally have Son and Caz atm and am looking at Caz to Theo . Son is a good shoe in for the short term.
