After Saturday treated us to eight matches and 29 goals, we have just a solitary fixture to focus our attentions on today.

West Ham welcome Southampton to the London Stadium as Slaven Bilic attempts to halt a run of three straight Premier League losses.

Both sides chalked up EFL Cup wins in midweek, yet while the Saints saw off Palace to rack up a third successive victory in all competitions, the Hammers had to rely on a last-minute free-kick from Dimitri Payet to see off Accrington Stanley.

With a pair of assists in each of the last two Gameweeks, the Frenchman has been in fine form since returning from injury.

Nonetheless, Payet has remained overlooked by many Fantasy managers due to the form of Michail Antonio, who has netted five times in four since being moved onto the flank.

With his defence in disarray, Bilic will be relying on that duo to get the better of a Saints side that have picked up a single point in their two road trips so far.

For the Saints, Nathan Redmond remains their most popular FPL asset despite a four-match barren streak, though Dusan Tadic is the form player heading into this one, having served up an assist in each of the last two Gameweeks.

    Team needs a bit of surgery but gonna have to do this eve to avoid price changes.

    Original plan was ozil and bony to sanchez and deeney but deeneys rise screwed that.

    Obvious backup seems to bring sanchez and austin. Any other suggestions? Rashford? Would have 0 itb

      Alexis is just too tempting playing oop with those fixtures and if there's a week not to give Kun the armband it's away at Spurs

        Agree completely. Id have to take -4 also. Going austin and sanchez would give me .7 itb for defensive upgrades in the coming weeks so looking appealing.

    How averse is everyone to taking a hit? I read earlier that top strategy is not to take hits at all, but can't help having WC'ed in a load of tripe!

      I think its worth taking hits!
      I took a hit to get aguero (C) this week! (Also got payet by downgrading hazard)
      Last week took a hit for lukaku (C)
      Usualy its because i can't afford the person i want so need to downgrade certain players

      Probably top players take less hits because they are making better decisions in the first place, but that doesn't mean that your mistakes aren't better served by taking an obvious hit.

      For example,

      I took a hit last week to swap 2 players:

      Ibra -> Aguero and Hazard -> Sanchez

      Would the top players have had those without a hit? Maybe?

      But it was easily worth it for -4.

      This week I took another hit (but probably a mistake)

      Baines -> Coleman (this was probably knee-jerk as Baines may play next Friday and even if he doesn't, its tough opposition), but its a fair argument to suggest another option might make perfect sense

      Benteke -> Rashford (this was a good move - I caught the price rise, despite the fact that Benteke is not going to drop - but Rashford has better chance of getting points next week against Stoke

      Sounds like KDB will only miss the next GW. So maybe just bench him, annoying as it is.

      I would do Negredo>Deeney but maybe wait until after Watford match because Negredo>Rashford is a great shout as well.
