Sunday’s events conclude at St Mary’s as Southampton play host to Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

The Saints will be seeking a fourth consecutive clean sheet in the Premier League, a seventh in a row in all competitions.

Visitors Burnley will need to improve their attacking threat in order to threaten that record. The Clarets have scored just five goals from their seven matches, creating three big chances – the fewest in the Premier Leauge.

The Saints attack has disappointed with just seven goals scored in their seven matches. However, the statistics show that they have the potential to improve on that record in this one: Claude Puel’s side have produced a shot on goal every 4.8 minutes at St Mary’s – only Liverpool have been more threatening in home matches this season.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'd say that's a good move, other than monitoring Benteke and Deeney over the next few weeks not much else to change there

Cheers.....yup only brought in benteke for this week too....

Like the look of Austin fixtures from gw11 onwards and he will likely replace deeney or benteke....

How do you get over FPL disappointments? I was choosing between
    Austin (13)
    Deeney (2)
    Benteke (-1)

    and I brought in Benteke.

Saves coming so thick and fast at the end there that I think he's been robbed of JWP's attempted lob just before Tadic's header - would have taken him to 12 and a nailed-on BP.

    9. fedolefan
      10 years, 4 days ago

This is how FPL has always been. Plenty of choices to tempt you and make rash/bad decision. Last season was the real disaster. 6-7 permanent fixtures and you just tweak the weakness in your squad as per the fixtures. This year the temptation is to juggle the big hitters depending on fixtures and that's the real challenge.

    10. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus
      10 years, 4 days ago

Don't worry about rank too much early in the year. Three good weeks in march/april can have you knocking onnthe door of top 10k from nowhere. There will be weeks where the opposite of GW8 happens & you end up getting 15 points from nowhere etc. all part of the game!!

    0 ITB 2FT

    Heaton Pickford
    Valencia Coleman Lovren Holebas Amat
    Sanchez Sterling Firmino Antonio Fletcher
    Aguero Lukaku Deeney

Pretty sure I want to get rid on Antonio but not sure what moves to make
I'm thinking of Coleman/Valencia and Antonio to Pieters and Walcott
    Any suggestions?

even if it did it's only 3 bps so it won't make a difference. austin 3 redmond 2 vokes 1

Not advisable to get a cheap player for another cheap player. I've already made that mistake, am regretting it and it rarely works out. Save and upgrade to a big hitter.
