Sunday’s events conclude at St Mary’s as Southampton play host to Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

The Saints will be seeking a fourth consecutive clean sheet in the Premier League, a seventh in a row in all competitions.

Visitors Burnley will need to improve their attacking threat in order to threaten that record. The Clarets have scored just five goals from their seven matches, creating three big chances – the fewest in the Premier Leauge.

The Saints attack has disappointed with just seven goals scored in their seven matches. However, the statistics show that they have the potential to improve on that record in this one: Claude Puel’s side have produced a shot on goal every 4.8 minutes at St Mary’s – only Liverpool have been more threatening in home matches this season.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Surely those of us with Antonio have to keep JUST ONE more week?

Sunderland at home next. Final chance right?

If I follow the masses and bring Theo in he will get hurt, Antonio will go up front and score a hat trick.

    Right????

    1. makaveli123
      10 years, 5 days ago

Don't think he'll score a hat trick, but I am keeping him at least one more GW.

I'd agree if he wasn't playing wingback.

      1. Stupendous

It's quite bizarre. Besides Milner and maybe Valencia under Red nose, how many players show up on a Saturday morning and not know where they are playing that day AT ALL. Surely he must train at rb or cf during the week though.

        1. davies
          10 years, 5 days ago

You'd think they'd work on their shape during the week - but saying that, you'd assume not based on their recent form!

Antonio and Capoue to Theo and Allen? Would leave me with...

            Grant
            Holebas. Walker. Koscielny
            Firm.Theo.Sanchez.Allen.Sterling
            Lukaku. Aguero

            Pickford. Lovren. Diomande. Kingsley

                10 years, 5 days ago

Yea I'm loving 352 atm. Prolly best to not lose more money on Antonio and Capoue maybe soon. Seem logical moves?

                  10 years, 5 days ago

Deffo, just monitor price changes. I'm looking at Antonio & Rashford out for a hit - but I've also got an appalling defence and I want Allen.

                  WC?.. Used.

West Ham won their first game in weeks and they kept a clean sheet whilst before they have been conceding a tonne of goals . Changing a winning team would not make a great deal of sense ?

Capoue -> Allen for a -4 point hit and then bench Austin against City?? I know it seems crazy but Hull are conceding goals for fun atm and Allen seems to be at the centre of all of their attacks. Also means that I can jump on Allen's price rises early.

Man City don't keep many cleanies, I'd maybe even be tempted to play Austin, don't own him myself

-4 for Joe Allen seems a bit counter-intuitive

Is it a good time to sell capoue?
All 25 teams in ML (except 2) have him & im looking for a differential
I want to keep defence as it is for next week & attack is following

    Sanchez/theo/firmino/barry/cap
    Rashford/kun/costa
    2.8 ITB
Who do i sell 1st rashford or capoue

    Heaton
    Clyne Amat Vertonghen
    Antonio Firmino Snodgrass Sterling
    Ibrahimovic Lukaku Aguero

    Pickford Capoue Collins Evans

Is it worth taking a hit to get Walcott in for Antonio or just do Sterling > Walcott?

    Need Stoke cover.

    Current team

    Jakupovic, Gomes
Bellerin, Williams, Johnson (out for 3 weeks), Smith, Friend
    Ozil, Firmino, Antonio, Capoue, Snodgrass
    Aguero, Lukaku, Deeney

    A) Jakupovic >> Grant
    B) Johnson >> Pieters
    C) Capoue/Snodgrass >> Allen

Stones & Valencia > Koscielny & Holebas for a hit?

    1. ⚽️ Dingo ⚽️
      10 years, 5 days ago

I have the same dilemma. Not for a hit. Stones has been useless and I can't seem to shake him.

      1. dashdriver
        10 years, 5 days ago

I agree, but I haven't taken any hits yet, and as these are "long term transfers" it is kind of tempting. The alternative would be Valencia to Holebas this week, and then Stones to Koscielny next week.
