Having recently announced the launch of the 13th instalment of our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition, we thought we’d give you another reminder to make sure you enter in time.

As we revealed last week, this year’s contest is sponsored by FanDuel, who are donating more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants on top of the £350 in Amazon vouchers we are offering to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition, all UK entrants who take part in the cup get a £10 free credit from FanDuel added to their account when they play their first game. This can be used at any time as soon as you register with FanDuel.

Sign up to this latest Cup competition via the entry form here. The deadline for entries is Monday November 7.

Timetable

The qualifying round will take place in Gameweek 11, with the first round running in Gameweek 12.

The first round will consist of 1024 teams and, as usual, all the competition’s previous winners who enter will gain a bye into the first round draw where they will join the top scorers from Gameweek 11. FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions. Previous winners must enter to be included.

The cup will then be played out according to the following Gameweek schedule:

Note that some Gameweeks are skipped due to tight turnaround times.

      With him not playing that well the last two games and others like Lingard, Martial and Rooney doing OK I think a dropping is imminent.

        Plus, Pogba did well in the more advanced role last night (his best position anyway) he could play that role, adding to the congestion up front.

    If anyone has a spare minute I'd need some advice:

    1 FT 0 ITB.

    Pick Jaku
    Holebas Amat Walker (Baines(red) Evans(red))
    Sanchez Antonio Firmino Son (Capoue)
    Kun Lukaku Benteke

    Thinking Baines->Pieters to afford Antonio->Walcott next gw. Or both now for a hit or smth else? Cheers 🙂

      Baines --> Clyne/Lovren?

      Next week Antonio --> Llalanna

      Would want to double up on Arsenal mids from next week, you would be missing plum fixture this week.

          Tbh if that was my team I'd probably save and re-evaluate next week.

          Baines --> Lovren would be seriously tempting though to avoid playing Amat. Gives you a defender with perfect fixtures until Christmas.

          From GW11everyone will be selling EVE Defs anyway.

            • 14 Years

            Yeah might end up saving FT. I actually think Arsenal still have nice enough fixtures for the double up but so do Pool

              9 years, 8 months ago

              I'm currently doubled up on Arsenal mids but I wouldn't be if it wasn't for this fixture tomorrow. As in, I wouldn't double from next week.

              I've got Sanchez--> KDB pencilled in if wally keeps his form

                9 years, 8 months ago

                I see no reason getting rid of Sanchez myself. KdB is too expensive imo if you have Aguero who you will captain anyway. Not sure I would trust Walcott with the armband when it comes to Arsenal.

                  9 years, 8 months ago

                  That's a fair point. It all depends on Sanchez and KDB,s form tbh.

                  We will see how it pans out!

                    9 years, 8 months ago

                    Sure does. Spurs is a nice fixture for the Arsenal attackers too, so the upcoming fixtures might look a bit worse on paper than they actually are. UTD game looks low-scoring

                      Pool has no Europe so 3 Pool players could be great with those fixtures 🙂

    Evening all, not sure what my approach should be with this lot:
    Pickford (Jak)
    Vertonghen - Holebas - Pieters (McAuley, Amat)
    Sanchez - Walcott - Sterling - Firmino (Capoue)
    Kun - Lukaku - Rashford

    I'd like to be rid of rashford, mcauley, capoue and Jak. 1FT, 0.2 ITB
    A) Capoue and Mcauley ---> Fletcher and Koscielny
    B) McAuley ---> Lovren
    C) Rashford and Capoue to Fletcher and Austin/ other cheap striker.

    Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, cheers!

      It's a good line up, but, as Hyypia Headers says, forget Capoue and downgrade- his value is about to drop 0.1 tonight anyway. Other picks to consider might be De Bruyne instead of Sanchez (City have good fixtures and you have Walcott), Slimani, a Liverpool defender (their fixtures are brilliant).
