Sorry for asking a non gundog question but is Deeney to Austin for a hit a bit silly or will it pay of?

Personally I wouldn't for a hit, it's not silly though, Austin is better, although Deeney got four reasonable fixtures once he gets his blank at Liverpool out of the way this weekend.

I was going to do the exact same transfer (but for free) until Good Dog Man arrived on the scene and changed my plans.

Think i'm jumping on the Gündogan wagon if there is one.

Capoue to Gündogan who will rotate with Bolasie as 4th and 5th mids.

Can't see it going that wrong. thoughts ?

I do understand the Gundogan hype, but I think that if we take a step back, the player we should really be looking at is De Bruyne.

If you look at Guardiola’s Munich team last season, the only player that really stood out for goals scored apart from Lewondowski was Thomas Muller. who scored 20 goals in 26 starts, along with 5 assists. Apart from these two, no other player scored more than 5 league goals.

I believe Guardiola sees De Bruyne as City’s Muller. He is a player that is talented enough to play in all of the attacking positions, including playing as a ‘second striker’, as Pep just mentioned about his position tonight.

At the start of the season we were worried about De Bruyne being played a bit deep, when it was him and Silva playing as 8s. However, now that Gundogan has joined the fold, it has allowed De Bruyne to move forward while Silva has been moved to the wing.

We already know how good De Bruyne is, but now I think he will go to new levels under Pep. Obviously this is a different team, but I think the Muller comparisons are accurate. Pep is playing with a lot of the same systems as he played at Munich, and De Bruyne is the only player that matches Muller’s finishing and playmaking package that Pep builds a team around.

I could be wrong and Gundogan could continue scoring, but I expect that he will revert to form and De Bruyne will explode! Only issue for me is whether he will start all the games as the fixtures are coming thick and fast.

        • 9 Years
        9 years, 9 months ago

Yeah I know he is a bargain, just expect KDB to be far better.

As I said, drawing parallels with Bayern of last season, other players similar to Gundogan and playing in similar positions (Thiago, Vidal) only scored 2 and 4 goals respectively in the league. I know this could obviously change this year but it seems that Pep is playing in a similar way to that which he did at Bayern- i.e. it will be Aguero and De Bruyne banging in ALL of the goals

KDB conversion rate has been poor this year, but when his shooting improves he will score a lot of goals.

Gundogan is HALF the price of KDB? That's a lot of £££ to stake on a Muller theory that's for the birds.

OUT: Foster, Williams, Sterling & Shaqiri
IN: Pickford, Friend, Gundogan & Hazard

    For -12.

Got 99 points this week so prepared for the hit as I think I stand a decent chance of making it back.

Evening all, couple of questions for you!

    1. Is Deeney to Wilson ahead of the Sunderland game too short term?

    2. Are people keeping Walker through his tough fixtures? Or is Fuchs for example worth the transfer in?

    1. Jo72
      • 9 Years
      9 years, 9 months ago

Deeny to Austin is a better choice, and get Fuchs

    2. Virgil Hilts
      • 9 Years
      9 years, 9 months ago

Wilson / Austin not much in it for me, but for a hit? That means they have to score to break even, and Deeney has 4 decent games coming up after Liverpool away. Even they always concede 🙂

I've just cashed in on Walker for a Leic Def, but it's Morgan. Fuchs at 0.4 more than Morgan limits other choices.

I believe that goal Fuchs scored last weekend was his first I think? Yes, good for assists & BPS but Leic not scoring as much as last season.

City high on confidence after destroying barca. Could score 3 or 4 past boro right ?

If so there's every chance Gundogan will be involved in atleast one or two goals

If so his price will sky rocket in international break. why not get him tonight and get an addition 0.2 rise

prices don't change much during international breaks, at least assuming gundogan doesn't get a hattie vs boro or something

Middlesbrough one of best in league for least big chances conceded I think. Look at Arsenal game but City at home is City at home

A few weeks ago I stuck £10 on Donald Trump winning the election on the basis of, if he loses, good, if he wins, I might as well get money before WW3.

    £10 @ 4/1 to win £50

A few days later, the tapes came out and his odds went to 5/1.
At this point the cash out payout was £7 ish.

Now, Hilary FBI gate has kicked in and the nut case Donald is 9/4.

I'm now being offered £12.69 to cash out and would have a profit before any vots are cast.

Should I just take the profit or hold out for the entertainment value? I actually think he could win as America has so many racists as found in tge comments section of every YouTube video.

hmm, I think I'd cash out. The FBI revelations definitely are in his favour but don't think its enough to win the election

Entertainment value? I don't think it'll be funny if he wins.

Gotta be better than the corrupt elite poch. He may be a tool and it's there for all to see but it's what you don't see from the likes of Clinton that you need to worry about

Don't cash out. The premises of making of your bet still stands, if he wins you win cash, if he loses the world wins 🙂

What odds can you get on us all being nuked if Trump wins?

Which bookies are likely to survive the armeggedon and hence most likely to pay out?

Not sure a few quid in a Paddy Power account will be that useful having thought about it.

Really undecided between Fuchs and Alonso, former has fixtures the latter has form and good team stats. And would risk Fuchs injury tomorrow since Valencia is dropping tonight. Any thoughts?

Would not risk the Fuchs injury myself but I'd get him.

Upgrade Firmino or Coutinho for Hazard.
