After a breathless conclusion to the quartet of three o’clock kick-offs, we have barely any time to regain composure before the day’s final match is upon us.

Composure is likely to be a rare commodity at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea and Spurs collide to rekindle their stormy affair in the tea-time clash.

Fantasy managers will be focused on the output of both Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, particularly with the Liverpool midfield failing to produce at Anfield. Costa has been handed the captaincy by 10% of FPL managers, with Hazard earning 5% backing. Elsewhere, Marcos Alonso’s 39,000 new owners will be banking on a seventh consecutive clean sheet.

Harry Kane’s performance will be key to those hopes. With three kind home fixtures to following this encounter, Kane is primed for investment and Fantasy managers will be using this evening’s encounter to carefully assess his prospects.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'm not making the changes yet but will do once I find more about the Coutinho injury my squad currently looks like this:

    Grant
    Holebas Williams McAuley
    Coutinho (X) Mane Sanchez Stanislas
    Austin Aguero (C) Costa

    Subs:Pickford,Fuchs,De Roon & Love

Any early suggestions folks £0.4 ITB and 2 FT's?

I've captained Mane a lot (as I did today) but was he really a bad choice? He keeps returning at home, was hacked down for the assist and at some stage will score a brace as he gets loads of chances, just isn't the best finisher.

Assist for Swansea 5th goal was given to Taylor and match points are now confirmed. According to the rules, 'all assists are reviewed before the points are updated at the end of each day'.
I know no one cares because it's Taylor and Fernandes but that's a very bad precedent when such blatant mistakes go unnoticed. There can be different opinions when it's not clear who touched the ball or how to read the rules, but this is a Gibbs/Ox kind of situation.
Number 33 passes the ball (see last replay), Llorente scores. Number 33 is Fernandes. Neil Taylor is number 3 and he didn't even make it into the footage.

      1. Smarty Pants

        9 years, 4 months ago

'For the avoidance of doubt, points awarded in-game are subject to change up until one hour after the final whistle of the last match of any given day. Once the points have all been updated on that day, no further adjustments to points will be made.'
I don't think this rule was in place when they used to do it. If they do it now, it will be against the rules.

Can we be unequivocal that Kane will outscore Lukaku for the mid-term future?

    1. Ibracadabra
      • 16 Years
      9 years, 4 months ago

Yes - Everton seem a bit out of sorts and the fixtures are up and down whereas Kane is a true captain option 3 of the next 4 weeks regardless of his quiet night tonight.

      1. tomc990
        • 15 Years
        9 years, 4 months ago

I think the captaincy does help, esp as Kane can score braces.

Just wanted to get some other thoughts as the conventional wisdom seems to be Lukaku to Kane.

        Thanks!

    2. *sigh*
      • 14 Years
      9 years, 4 months ago

Never sure with Lukaku. He can score against the best yet blank against the poorest.Think Kane may be worth the extra as you can be more confident of returns when captaining him.Like next week for example.

      1. tomc990
        • 15 Years
        9 years, 4 months ago

Yep, the captain thing must come into it.

I have 2 FTs and Coutinho and Lukaku to Sigurdsson and Kane seems right, but want to gather opinions!

        Thanks!

      2. Ibracadabra
        • 16 Years
        9 years, 4 months ago

That's my thought, have 2 FTs and trying to find a way to bring Kane in for Lukaku, but don't see an easy route other than -4 or -8.

Could move out out: Gundogan / Lukaku / Stones / Walcott to try and finance some sort of Kane / Siggy move but will wait to watch Lukaku and (hopefully) Walcott tomorrow, as they are in last chance saloon...

        Pickford
Alonso - Lovren - Stones (Amat - Kelly)
Hazard - Firmino - Walcott - Gundogan (De Roon)
        Auguro - Costa - Lukaku

        2 FT, 0.2M in bank.

        1. tomc990
          • 15 Years
          9 years, 4 months ago

No easy route there at all.

I guess Walcott, Gun and Lukaku are the ones you'd want to move on. Stones is annoying but for another day.

Walcott and Lukaku can be hard to shift as they always could do well.

I wonder if you could do Walcott, Gun and Lukaku to Snod, Sig and Kane. Probably about 1m off.

          Tough one.

Don't think he's great, with Siggy 1M more and on free kicks / penalties in the same side - he should outscore Llorente and you probably don't want double Swansea.
