A dramatic Saturday comes to its conclusion as West Ham United take on Arsenal at the London Stadium.

All eyes are on the Gunners’ Alexis Sanchez as he looks for a fourth double-figure haul on the road.

Having scored twice against Bournemouth last week, the Chilean headed into Gameweek 14 just one point off the top of the Fantasy Premier League standings.

An injury to Philippe Coutinho has prompted new interest in Theo Walcott – the wide man earned more transfers in than any player last week after notching his sixth of the season against Eddie Howe’s side.

The search for a new midfielder means we’ll also be monitoring the display of Dimitri Payet, with the Hammers’ schedule taking a turn for the better from Gameweek 16 onwards.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

So I use the fantasy football fix manager assistant, it says captain Sanchez and vice captain Kane, I think well Kane is against Swansea at home so it is a no brainer to captain him. I captain Kane and yes he still scores 2 goals with 10 points + bonuses but then I see.........

Sanchez scores a hat trick. (and one assist)

Lesson learnt -> Form over fixture. 😉

Similar situation , went for the fixture over form .
Guess it's not always that evident . Good lesson for the coming weeks. Kane scoring a brace atleast helped.

If you had Costa/Kane/Kun would you pick Ibra or another for Kun?

Had Lukaku all season until last week, Defoe too, but not exactly a banker on Sunderland... Ibra seems like the obvious replacement.

Kun likely to drop tonight? Or wait til Everton game tomorrow?

Rather you spent the cash elsewhere and go for a cheapie .
Carroll as a punt maybe with his fixtures, replace him later.
Can't see too many Ibra Braces to value that money right now unless you captain him.

Thinking of wildcarding to this lot:

    Pickford, Grant
    Alonso, Walker, Brunt, Amat, Mee
    Hazard, Sanchez, Firmino, Phillips, Capoue
    Anichibe, Kane, Costa

Would leave me with £0.6 ITB

I could downgrade Capoue to DeRoon leaving me £1.1m itb.
    Thoughts, lads and lasses?

Make it work so you can afford Defoe. Pens are huge.

I do want him but it means cheaper defence, so Alonso would have to go.

Need to get my changes done tonight as have exactly the right cash:

    Heaton (Pickford)
    Walker - Holebas - Williams - Evans - Amat
    Gundogan - Firm - Sanchez - Gylfi - Fletcher
    Aguero - Kane - Defoe

    Currently thinking either:
    A) Aguero, Firm -> Costa, Haz (-4)
    B) Walker - Gundo - Aguero -> Costa, Haz, 4.3 (Ake?) (-8)
    C) ?

    Any opinions?

    A) Play Amat
    B) -4 Chadli -> 7.4 mid (so that I can get Ibra next)
    C) -4 Chadli -> 11m mid KDB/Hazard/Eriksen

Got 4.7mitb and want to get Ibra in for Benteke after next weekend. Also scared of haveing no Spurs cover for BUR HUL. Chadli is not starting so need to get rid, got 7.4 for a mid if I get Ibra.

    Heaton
    Cedric Alonso Holebas Amat
    San(C)hez Siggy Mane
    Costa Benteke Austin

    Jaku McAuley Chadli Carrick

1). Who is better to bring in - Van Dijk or Cédric?
2). Who out of my defence should I take out for one of them?
3). Who would be the best 4th mid upgrade for Allen?

    Foster / Heaton
    Alonso / Clyne / McAuley / Holebas / Amat
    Hazard / Sánchez / Sigurdsson / Allen / Fletcher
    Kane / Costa / Austin

    Cheers all!

      1. Cedric. I have Van Dijk but Cedric at his current price is a bargain.
      2. Holebas, as he doesn't get many clean sheets for Watford.
      3. Depends on the amount of money in the bank, but a good straight swap for me would be Phillips but if you're looking for fixtures over form then go for Redmond.

      hope I helped 😉

      1. HazardAGuess
        • 9 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

Definitely. I agree with you on 1 & 2. Holebas is becoming frustrating to own now, as well as being a YC magnet.

Phillips not possible as a 5th mid, as I already have triple WBA. I don't enjoy the triple-up, especially over the next few weeks - don't think I'd fancy Phillips for those reasons, too.

Well first I'd do Aguero -> Kane which is what I did 2 weeks ago.

Then that leaves you with about 2.5 in the bank.

Walcott at 8.0 should've scored points at the WHU v ARS game but didn't and I think a good replacement would be Sigurdsson.

You should now have roughly 3.0 in the bank, and it depends when you bought Defoe, but sell him and get Costa with 0.0 left in the bank.

If you're going to do it do it tonight because Aguero is decreasing in price tonight with Costa and Kane both rising.

    Alonso - VVD - Lovren - Holebas - Kingsley
Hazard - Firmino - Siggy - Allen - De Roon
    Aguero - Kane - Austin

Can't get my ideal setup without open heart surgery,

    A) Get Costa & both Sanchez & Hazard in? 2 budget midfielders

    C) Get Sanchez in for Allen? (Aguero < Defoe)

Can't afford Austin with Sanchez though if I remove Phillips so will have to be Iheanacho. Can afford Austin/Benteke/Defoe if I remove Walcott but would rather keep him for 1-2 weeks and then go to a Siggy / Lallana or someone else and will have to try Iheanacho out I guess... not ecstatic but sensible. Aguero to get CL midweek, Iheanacho league on the weekend.

Yes but only 5.2M or so and in tremendous form - great 4th mid, just bought him, feels weird. Only other option would be getting rid of Theo.
