Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs West Ham United

The final match of Gameweek 15 sees Liverpool welcome West Ham United to Anfield in the 4.30pm kick-off.

Both Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are highly fancied against a Hammers defence that shipped five at home to Arsenal last weekend.

Mane has served up points in five of his six home outings, whilst Firmino will be looking to banish a three-match barren run and return to the form that has already seen him register 15 points in front of his own supporters on two occasions.

Divock Origi looks to score for the fourth successive match in all competitions to strengthen his claim as a mid-price festive frontman.

West Ham, meanwhile, have home encounters with Burnley and Hull followed by a trip to Swansea in the upcoming three Gameweeks.

We’ll be looking for signs of form from Dimitri Payet and the fit-again Michail Antonio, then, while big Andy Carroll is named amongst the subs against his former club, having emerged from the bench to net the Hammers’ consolation against Arsenal last time out.

    My ML leader has midfield of
    Fer,Zaha,Walcott, hazard.
    Even has Allen coming on for 5 pts.
    He's on 76 pre baps. TV barely 100. Mine 105 TV and I'm in 7th spot.

      Klopp's summer business:

      Karius (5M) - terrible start.
      Klavan (4M) - so little confidence in him he'd rather play Lucas CB.
      Mane (34M) - expensive but always a threat and been better in recent games.
      Manniger (Free) - 3rd keeper
      Matip (Free) - free transfer so can't complain but not a top level CB.
      Wijnaldum (25M) - doesn't turn up when it matters.

      Other than Mane, there's not much improvement made there. He clearly identified the weak points (CB and GK) but hasn't exactly filled them with quality,

              Maybe, or maybe the team needs time to gel. Remember, Karius has played just 10GW's behind a pretty crappy defensive lineup.

          Mane - Very good signing so far.
          Minniger - Third choice.
          Matip - Also a very good signing, first mistake this season.
