With a break in our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition during the midweek fixtures, we spend some time this evening to see who has made it through to fifth round, which takes place during Gameweek 17 this coming weekend.

A reminder that, for this latest contest, there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition the highest scoring manager each round wins a £30 FanDuel credit, with community regular Moin earning this prize after his 65 point Gameweek 15 haul. He next faces msq22 in round five.

The next four highest scoring managers in round four win a £10 FanDuel credit. These will be handed out to Pinky Unites, who scored 63, DJDave1979, who scored 61 along with twobitgooner, and BC1, Bashvilla, Hagop, who all hit the 60 point mark.

The highest placed manager left in the competition is 216 ranked Bacuna Matata, who along with Pink Unites, won a £30 FanDuel voucher for the top highest score back in the third round.

The unfortunate manager to face this early frontrunner to win the competition is lowlifegimpe, who is ranked 337,555.

In a closely fought contest, our only remaining Fantasy Football Scout staff representative, TorresMagic, has made it through to round five, after squeezing past Zambhino10 by just a single point.

The moderator has another tough encounter in store when he takes on Smooth Rossi, who at 6,687 in the overall rankings is more than 7,000 places above him.

Other eye catching ties taking place in round five include Funkyav’s clash with Big Phil Soccer Team and Cobberlsnz taking on Bash Villa, who incidentally sent me packing back in the first round.

The fourth round results can be found via this link, while the full fifth round draw can be found here.

Good luck to those still involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link.

I've got Austin. Bigger fish to fry. Firminio gets at least one more game.

is it really worth a -4 for a TOT midfielder? and if so which one?

Over the next two, I believe so. I went Alli, but would have preferred Eriksen if I had the extra dosh.

        This week I'm doing either:

Lovren + Anichebe to Van Dijk + Carroll (-4)
        or Lovren to Alonso

You reckon just Lovren to Alonso?

If you really want a Liverpool mid its gotta be him, but Liverpool have been slowing down recently and Middlesbrough isn't an easy place to go to and score a lot of goals

Looking good. Sanchez captain away to Everton is a bit left field, but he does like playing away.

Asked whether Lovren's injury was nothing more serious than cramp, Klopp insisted: "Hopefully; I don't know more at this moment. It was cramp. He told me he wanted to play and I told him I want to play too, but since 20 years I can't!"

"It's not about what you want, it's about what is possible and we made the decision together it's better to take him off, but we don't know more about it in the moment."

Klopp was pretty peeved at the first half defensive performance, and when you consider that alongside the 4 goal collapse at Bournemouth, I wouldn't be surprised if he takes the opportunity to play Klavan alongside Matip.

    Lovren / Alonso / Amat / Cedric / Pieters
    Sanchez / Firminho / Siggy / Snoddy/ Fletcher
    Kane / Anichibe / Costa

    5.3 bank and 0 FT..

Have the money for Snoddy --> Hazard (-4)

      A. Make that move (-4)
      B. Make that move and Firm --> TOT mid (-8)
      C. Other

Would this be worth a -8?

Kosc, KDB & Nacho > Rose, Hazard & Kane?

Not for me I think KDB could explode against Watford.

To be honest I love those moves.

Wouldn't be wanting to get rid of KDB or Nacho at this point.
I'de do the first one or save.

I like it! I'd even contemplate getting Eriksen over Hazard for the next few.
