Dugout Discussion – Crystal Palace vs Chelsea

Gameweek 17 begins with Chelsea attempting to maintain their 10-game winning streak at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace.

There’s plenty on show for Fantasy Football managers, with Eden Hazard a confirmed starter having missed the midweek victory at Sunderland.

Sold by more than 130,000 ahead of today’s deadline, they will be fidgeting uncomfortably throughout and hoping that Hazard continues to simmer in away matches. He’s scored just two goals in seven road trips so far, compared to six in eight at Stamford Bridge.

Diego Costa has had no such issues, home or away. He goes into today’s encounter off the back of just his third blank of the season on Wednesday – he is yet to go two Gameweeks without a goal or an assist this season.

For Palace, both Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke offer the major threat to a Chelsea defence that has conceded just two goals over their ten successive wins.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      He's on the bench so available, just not selected in the starting XI. Presumably being eased back and perhaps saved for two matches in quick succession to come.

    A lot of hazard hate going on, reminds me of that time earlier on in the season when he was blanking & went down to 9.8 then he went on to get 8, 8, 14, 19!
    If people want sell then just let them, i like teams being different plus less ownership means its easier to climb up the rankings!

      Yep already seen this with Sanchez too and I fell for that myself.. I'm holding, what's the old saying, form is temporary class is permanent

      And Chelsea have some nice fixtures then some not so nice ones where that double defensive coverage won't look so great, if that's what people are gonna do.

    Am I the only one that can't do Costa > Ibra as a straight forward transfer?

    Not that it was concrete or anything but its best to have some sort of plans/idea, but when I went to the transfers page I was left a little dissapointed.

        I bought Costa quite early on in the season and his value in my team is 10.3 and I have only 0.3 ITB with Kane and Anichebe as my other forwards. Should I sell Costa since he will drop in price (I intend to get him back) or keep him and face the drop ?
