Gameweek 18 rolls on this evening as Liverpool welcome Stoke to Anfield in a 5.15pm kick-off.

Owned by over 21% of Fantasy Premier League managers, Sadio Mane’s home form suggests he’s the man most likely to wreak havoc against the Potters – the Senegal international has scored or assisted in six of seven Anfield appearances since arriving from Southampton over the summer.

Divock Origi, with goals in all but one of the last five Gameweeks, retains his starting berth, with Jurgen Klopp set to unleash Daniel Sturridge from the bench once again.

Roberto Firmino also keeps his place as he attempts to end a run of six straight blanks.

For the Potters, Joe Allen is the form player – he’s bagged a goal and assist in the last three Gameweeks as he prepares to face his former club for the first time since moving to the bet365.

Between the posts, Lee Grant has produced at least one save point in each of the last four and should be kept busy again as the hosts look for the win that would see them leapfrog Man City into second.

    I was just about to pull the trigger on Lovren/Mané > Azpilcueta/Lallana then I heard the Pickford news.

    I have Grant so should I just go with him as my keeper for now and make my planned transfers or find a Pickford replacement?

    Guys - ranked 2.5m, having the season from hell. Every decision / sub / captaincy I'm making is going south. Any thoughts on the team below?

    Grant - Pickford
    Darmian - Jones - Friend - Pieters - Kingsley
    Hazard - Lallana - Sanchez - Siggy - Sims (?!?!)
    Costa - Carroll - Kane

    Problems:
    - Defence way too weak but don't have enough money to keep
    - Kane is not scoring (FFS!)
    - I'm lacking an interesting differential

      Darmian to a WBA defender (e.g. Brunt). Kingsley to Holgate (monitor this one - Holgate may become a season keeper if Everton persist with 3 at the back). Kane to Ibrahimovic. Then hold for a few weeks.
