A hectic afternoon with points aplenty will hopefully continue with the tea-time kick-off at the London Stadium.

With Sergio Aguero emerging from the bench to return a goal and potential bonus points at the Etihad, our attention now switches to the red side of Manchester and their own talismanic goalscorer – Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Heavily backed by FPL managers once again, the Swede takes on the Hammers with 24.1% of the Gameweek 20 armbands strapped to his bicep.

Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho recalls Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo at centre-back as two of five changes to his line-up; Henrikh Mkhitaryan earns his second successive start.

For West Ham, Andy Carroll drops to the bench having started the last four Gameweeks. Mark Noble and Andre Ayew also drop out as Pedro Obiang, Manuel Lanzini and Sofiane Feghouli earn starts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

After an awful gw so far, would you save the FT or make some rage transfers?

    Valdes
    Alonso Holebas Pieters
    Sanchez Hazard Eriksen JRod
    Ibra Costa Origi

Thinking of doing Eriksen and Origi to Phillips and Lukaku the week after for free then

In that case i would suggest 3-5-2 with Phillips instead og Origi, but after Spurs for West Brom, so save this week to get 2 ft's for the swap

Just had a look at the fixtures for gameweeks 35 through 37, assuming that a DGW falls into one of these brackets. They don't make a strong case for playing the wildcard and 'loading up' principally because you'll likely either have the players anyway, or there are hard fixtures... The following assumes that these teams have DGWs, of course.

Man City have 'good' fixtures from GW32 onwards and there is the Pep rotation factor. Would anyone risk trebling/doubling up on worthwhile City assets?

Chelsea have 'good' fixtures well in advance of GW35. Most people will probably have 2/3 Chelsea assets anyway, assuming their run continues, so nothing to wildcard in.

Liverpool also have 'good' fixtures from GW31 onwards, so chances are people will have 1-2 Liverpool assets anyway.

Arsenal play Manu in GW36, Spurs play Arsenal in GW35, Spurs play Manu in GW37

Also worth bearing in mind that the performance gaps between the top teams and everyone else this year is much wider. I'm struggling to see a compelling reason to wildcard simply for a DGW this year.

Every situation is different, the players which are the must haves now might not be the must haves you expect in gw35/37.

Also can't there be a Dgw in 28-32?

Thasnk, certainly food for thought. But I'll try to stay strong, even with a defense in shambles

I remember when Palace had 2 tough away fixtures on a DGW, and they managed 2 clean sheets.

Sold Hennessey just before that who got 18 points that week.

Anything can happen in a DGW, fixtures don't mean much.

There's so many different players scoring points (in different areas) right now that the WC has no real value.

You could load up with 3 big strikers to then watch the midfield have a couple of strong weeks, it's been that sort of season.

You could bring in a load of good ones and a load of others score points then you're back to chasing what you don't have, it's never ending this year.

I've really got no interest in using mine, I'll just end up moving sideways the wanting players I missed out on who also did well, it's a wildcard tool now and there's no point thinking it's going to be anything else.

Any point in early transfers this GW with the gap until the next game?
A lot of time for actual player changes through injury (FA cup), new players coming in and transfers between clubs.
I know Cedric is dropping but probably only .1 and is really a bench player atm.

Had a -12 that had Aguero (c) Phillips and Brunt in. Was sick as a parrot at half time on the train going to West Ham game. When i come out at Stratford i couldn't believe my eyes when i checked the scores 🙂 Anyway... I've got 0.0 ITB and want to do Pogba > Alli. Got the exact cash. Both look like rising tonight but Pogba with more of a chance. If Pogba rises i earn .1 out of him. Reckon i should wait and hope Pogba rises and Alli don't? Or just do it incase Alli rises and Pogba dont?
