This afternoon we reveal who has made it through to the semi-finals of our open to all Fantasy Premier League Cup competition, which takes place over Gameweek 22.

For this cup competition, there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

Back on the Horse’s excellent score of 106 earns him a £30 in FanDuel credit’s for the round’s top score. After seeing off David Brains in the quarter final he now squares up to Moin, whose 102 to 85 victory over malvernangells earns him a £10 FanDuel credit.

In terms of overall rank, this first pair of sem-finalists are evenly matched, with Back on the Horse placed at 5,759, while Moin is at 6,395 in the overall standings.

Both also have their second Wildcard, Triple Captain and Bench Boost chips intact and may opt to use one if they fancy prioritising cup commitments.

They also have very similar teams, with Chelsea duo Eden Hazard and Marcos Alonso, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Spurs striker Harry Kane and Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic all potential captaincy candidates. West Ham’s Michail Antonio also features in both squads.

This means that Back on the Horse will be hoping for a strong performance from key differentials Liverpool’s Adam Lallana and West Brom’s Matt Phillips.

While Moin will be relying on Southampton’s Nathan Redmond, who is at home to Leicester City, and Burnley striker Andre Gray, who has a far trickier tie away at Arsenal.

The other semi final sees 28,322 ranked Hazardousblue who defeated Bashvilla, take on A Manager Has No Name, who is 10,000 places ahead of him in the overall standings and saw off Urchin in the quarter finals.

Again the chips are all place for this pair, who both have Kane and Ibrahimovic available as key heavy hitters. Elsewhere, there are a raft of differentials.

A Manager Has No Name will be looking for a good performance from Middlesbrough forward Alvaro Negredo at home to West Ham, as well as Dele Alli away to Manchester City, and key captaincy contender Alexis Sanchez at home to Burnley.

Meanwhile, for Hazardous Blue, a strong showing from Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, Chelsea schemer Eden Hazard and Palace playmaker Yohan Cabaye will be crucial if he is to prevail. The smart money will be on him captaining Hazard for this encounter.

Hazardous Blue, A Manager Has No Name and malvernangells join Moin in claiming a £10 FanDuel Credit for their high quarter-final scores.

The results from the last eight can be found via this link, while the full semi-finals draw can be found here.

Good luck to those still involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link.

Play Holebas or Pieters? I think both will concede but maybe Holebas will concede more than one? (UTD have not been scoring much). On the other hand Holebas offers a bit more goal threat than Pieters.

Bit random but can anyone who has been to Thailand recommend the good places to visit? Also is £375 a good price for return from London? Thanks

Ko Chang - island in 70 sq km of national park. Like something out of King Kong movie when you approach by wooden ferry. Great place to chill out and relax. Sea is like bath water. Spent 10 days - Beautiful mate.

Have a feeling that tourism has been shut down on Koh Chang, or is at least going to be - tourism destroying the wildlife/national park.

ah yeah? I also did a 10 day tour from South to North. Some great archaeological sites, sukhothai, etc. Depends what you're in to. Great country and people. A pleasure to have been there, and it's the kind of place you don't need a plan. Cheap to get around for the most part ...

Reckon the price is good - cost me a lot more when I visited a few years ago.

I liked Ko Chang. Can get boat out to smaller islands if into the beach hut thing. Central Bangkok pretty interesting at night - some of it makes London look 3rd world. Thai King died recently so you may want to check what is/isn't happening as country quite royal family obsessed so imagine there's a long national mourning period.

Really? Spend 4 points+2 to make how many points? He has a habit of scoring 1 goal. His attraction is that he does it consistently. Wouldn't take a hit for him though with Liv & Ars after that.

Mind you - could score a hattie, but then so could Sanchez; who he already has.

Play the fixtures mate - steady as she goes. City could be a shambles, but after last weeks 4-0 drubbing, I think they'll be out for blood.

imo he's the safer pick over kane against City. But in saying that I have Sanchez and I'm going Hazard. (personal reasons for my ML)

My honest picks would be Sanchez, Ibra, Giroud and then Costa based on current form and info.

My 2 cents - go with your gut.

      Sanchez.

      - Burnley are terrible away from home
      - Arsenal are the most clinical team in the league (in terms of shot conversion into goals percentage)
      - Arsenal right up there for shots per game and shots on target per game
      - Sanchez angry after getting subbed last week

Arsenal should be beating Burnley 5-0 - let's see what happens though.

Benteke + Capoue -> Barnes + Stanislas worth a -4? Would allow funds to upgrade Holebas to Rose/Baines next week.

      Nope, not for a -4.

    Foster (Heaton)
Clyne - Alonso - Cedric (Dann - Amat)
Pogba - Sanchez - Hazard - Phillips (Capoue)
    Benteke - Carroll - Ibrahimovic

    Pogba --> Coutinho/Firmino/Lallana or GTG?

When you press the confirm button in the FFS FanDuel SL is that it? Or can you still make further changes as and when team news comes through?

What are the chances of a leaked Liverpool line-up before the deadline?

    Wondering whether to play Origi?

What to do with this team. Defence needs sorting out, but lacking Liverpool cover in MF. Worth a hit for anything?

    Alli Sanchez Hazard Phillips Capoue

I want Phillips for next 6 (plus I am leading my ML's and everyone else has him). So Allen > Phillips it is.

To fund it, I need to find 0.6m, so:

    A. Aguero > Kane
    B. Holebas > Love (and bench)

    Foster
    Pieters Azpi Walker (Amat Holebas)
    Sanchez Eriksen Lallana PHILLIPS (Marney)
    Ibra Aguero Defoe

I would really like to see how Aguero goes this week, so B feels a bit odd. It does give me the flex to do Aguero > Kane next week and then upgrade elsewhere though.

    Thoughts would be much appreciated!
