This afternoon we reveal who has made it through to the semi-finals of our open to all Fantasy Premier League Cup competition, which takes place over Gameweek 22.

For this cup competition, there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

Back on the Horse’s excellent score of 106 earns him a £30 in FanDuel credit’s for the round’s top score. After seeing off David Brains in the quarter final he now squares up to Moin, whose 102 to 85 victory over malvernangells earns him a £10 FanDuel credit.

In terms of overall rank, this first pair of sem-finalists are evenly matched, with Back on the Horse placed at 5,759, while Moin is at 6,395 in the overall standings.

Both also have their second Wildcard, Triple Captain and Bench Boost chips intact and may opt to use one if they fancy prioritising cup commitments.

They also have very similar teams, with Chelsea duo Eden Hazard and Marcos Alonso, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Spurs striker Harry Kane and Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic all potential captaincy candidates. West Ham’s Michail Antonio also features in both squads.

This means that Back on the Horse will be hoping for a strong performance from key differentials Liverpool’s Adam Lallana and West Brom’s Matt Phillips.

While Moin will be relying on Southampton’s Nathan Redmond, who is at home to Leicester City, and Burnley striker Andre Gray, who has a far trickier tie away at Arsenal.

The other semi final sees 28,322 ranked Hazardousblue who defeated Bashvilla, take on A Manager Has No Name, who is 10,000 places ahead of him in the overall standings and saw off Urchin in the quarter finals.

Again the chips are all place for this pair, who both have Kane and Ibrahimovic available as key heavy hitters. Elsewhere, there are a raft of differentials.

A Manager Has No Name will be looking for a good performance from Middlesbrough forward Alvaro Negredo at home to West Ham, as well as Dele Alli away to Manchester City, and key captaincy contender Alexis Sanchez at home to Burnley.

Meanwhile, for Hazardous Blue, a strong showing from Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, Chelsea schemer Eden Hazard and Palace playmaker Yohan Cabaye will be crucial if he is to prevail. The smart money will be on him captaining Hazard for this encounter.

Hazardous Blue, A Manager Has No Name and malvernangells join Moin in claiming a £10 FanDuel Credit for their high quarter-final scores.

The results from the last eight can be found via this link, while the full semi-finals draw can be found here.

Good luck to those still involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link.

    Boruc
    Rose - Alonso - Lovren
    Hazard - Sanchez - Stanislas - Lallana
    Zlatan - Kane - CARROL

    Pickford, McAuley, De Roon, Amat
    1FT, 0.7m ITB

G2G and save? Play Lovren or McAuley? How likely is Carroll starting?

Cheers! Disagree a bit on Rose, can deffo see a spurs cs against any team in the league at the moment tbh.. But I think his huge attacking potential is the thing that's making me scared of benching him.

Flippin bottomed - I want Phillips for next 6 (plus I am leading my ML's and everyone else has him). So Allen > Phillips it is.

To fund it, I need to find 0.6m, so:

    A. Aguero > Kane
    B. Holebas > Love (and bench)

    Foster
    Pieters Azpi Walker (Amat Holebas)
    Sanchez Eriksen Lallana PHILLIPS (Marney)
    Ibra Aguero Defoe

I would really like to see how Aguero goes this week, so B feels a bit odd. It does give me the flex to do Aguero > Kane next week and then upgrade elsewhere though.

    Thoughts would be much appreciated!

Think that AOA is good when you have decent front 8 so was planning to use it after DGW when I probably own decent front.
But..This GW I have Evans with late match fitness and can field only 2 defenders. So with Alonso, Holebas, Evans*,Ake*,Amat* what should I do:

    a) field 2 defenders and hope for Evans/Ake/Amat to play
    b) AOA with Fletcher
    c) ake > chambers for -4

90, won't get taken off unless the game is won/lost either way.
70/20, game should be won so he'll come off/on.
        20, not sure he starts.

75, game won, HRK on the bench.

Depends if you want to cover bases ie. play Defoe vs Foster/Brunt or go for max ceiling and bench Defoe and hope for the Jones plus double WBA clean sheet. Just imagine if Defoe scored though - triple pain.

Personally I'd play the best attacking assets and bench Jones.

With Fonte moving to WH, they need to sign a new CB. He is nailed out January (at least)

If he's fit he plays. Looks like he's fit. Should be ok for 90/

Looks good. I m on the same Heaton vs Grant dilemma. With Sanchez as captain I think I agree that Grant is a better shout. I dont like the karma of my skipper playing my keeper.

      Hi all,

What is my priority action here?

      Heaton - Jaku
      Alonso - Rose - Chambers - Holebas - Ake
      Hazard - Pogba - Alli - Eriksen - Clayton
      Ibra - Lukaku - Defoe

      Ziltch ITB Ziltch FT

      Is it
      A) Move in Sanchez
      B) Move on Pogba
      C) Go 3-5-2
      D) nothing
      e) an other!

      Cheers all!
