Lincoln City’s shock FA Cup win over Burnley has handed Fantasy managers an extra match to plan for ahead of Gameweek 28, with the Clarets’ visit to Liverpool now guaranteed.

One of only eight sides set to offer us a fixture in each of the next three Gameweeks, Jurgen Klopp’s men also face a favourable trip to Leicester City next Monday evening.

With the Alexis Sanchez exodus in full flow after Arsenal clinched a spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Monday night, thus depriving the Gunners of matches in Gameweek 26 and 28, we put the Merseysiders midfield options under the microscope.

First up, we’ll look at how Klopp’s attack is performing when compared with both the rest of the top-flight and their own season averages.

We then monitor the displays of their midfielders over each players’ respective last six matches, looking for signs of form at a time when many are turning to Sadio Mane on the back of his two-goal haul against Spurs last time out.

        Looking highly likely that it'll be 36 for me. That or a small of 29 or 30. I think dgw34 is only going to have 2, maybe 3 teams with doubles.

        Sounds good. Just needing a rough idea of when it may be suitable. Might double up with Coleman/Baines but want to use my wildcard soon to reformat my team. Too much $$$ in the defence can be bad sometimes.

                    Actually listened to scoutcast earlier and they talked sense (comparing Rob/Mag) Maguire is the goal man, if you're gonna bring in a defender for a hit, it's gotta be the one who can score. Haven't watched games, just highlights and seen tables, would defo bring him in. Will get him in 28 if I lose Pieters over Ibra.

                  Have you watched their games though? Since CHE when he did look a real threat in a back 3 he has had I shot on target? Whereas Robertson looks so good on the left working w/Grosicky, big assist threat imho.

                    Only watched motd. You may be right, but just that these smaller teams don't score that many, so you may be banking on him assisting the only goal scored. If that's the case, you're better off gambling with a goalscorer to score the only goal scored. If you fancy Hull to score more, then go for Robertson.

And you think Aguero is going to only get an "occasional haul" if he gets a serious line of starts with Jesus out, especially with DGWs coming up. Ok.

                            I never talked about captaincy here, thats just different thing...

                            If I had 4-5m getting wasted in my bank, then why not but I wouldnt downgrade a mid or defender to get him for Luka/Costa/Ibra/Kane.

                            Cant recall if I have owned him or not, maybe for 3-4 weeks.

                            I asked that question for every one, even if its some cheap player, providing value is important, cant pick a player if it spoils entire team structure, the overall team scores are counted, not just 1 player's contribution. Sanchez and Ibra might provide same points what Aguero is going to return for 2m more, so why pay extra...

                            Has he ever scored brace for even 3 consecutive games? Occasional hauls is more likely than regular. Anything less 10 points every week isnt going to bother me, thats what Costa has been doing all season and it doesnt do much damage to your rank by any means.

                      I rate him higher than Maguire atm tbh, others don't. Think he's a genuinely good attacking LB who has got the killer ball in his game. Could be useful after the blanks to as a rotator, some nice fixtures.

                      I have really enjoyed owning Nyom. Has always been nailed apart from a few annoying weeks when he was waiting for international clearance having not actually gone away to AFCON with Cameroon. Doesn't get many Baps but like I say, cheap and seems nailed.

                  Well we can also point the finger at Otamendi and Sagna while we're at it. I simply don't think F is a defender anyway so he escapes lol. The Kun dive? There was contact but he was looking for it by slightly going down beforehand.
                  Main thing I took from the game was how good Kun looked after his rather fortunate 1st goal. He grew back to what we know he is.

                    Would at least mean we can all have a flutter in both halves.

                    Atm three chips (WC, BB, TC) are redundant until GW32 at the earliest. Bit boring waiting so long to play them and then blow them in 2/3 weeks, and then season over.

                Transfers I will be doing in the weeks straight after GW28:

                Foster > Pickford (if playing), Jaku (if not)
                Lukaku > Defoe (depending on both players form)
                McAuley > Alonso
                Yoshida/Daniels (if get for GW28) > uber cheap, to play alongside Robertson & Fernandez (already have both)
                Siggy/Firmino > back to Sanchez & Eriksen/Alli

                    WBA fixtures turn bad after 28 and I really need a Chelsea def (not had one all season) for the run in.

                    Baines might also go for Walker around that time.

                    Robertson - Fernandez - Yoshida/other ultra cheapo will make up the rest.
