Harry Kane is sidelined for Tottenham’s home clash against Southampton. Paul Pogba is set to miss Manchester United’s trip to Middlesbrough. Leighton Baines should be fit for Everton’s home counter with Hull City, while Fernando Llorente is available for Swansea City’s trip to Bournemouth.

Bournemouth will have Andrew Surman available to face Swansea City following the midfielder’s one-match ban, but Tyrone Mings is still suspended. Harry Arter is a doubt due to a slight calf problem, while a late call will be made on Junior Stanislas, who’s making progress following a groin injury. Lys Mousset is expected to available, despite suffering a hamstring complaint for the U23’s in midweek.

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement revealed that Fernando Llorente is “okay,” with the striker returning to training yesterday, along with Kyle Naughton, who has recovered from a hamstring injury. Martin Olsson is not expected to be fit to face the Cherries due to an ankle injury, though, with Stephen Kingsley set to deputise at left-back.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman revealed that Leighton Baines would “normally” be fit for tomorrow’s home clash against Hull City after returning to training yesterday following a back problem. James McCarthy is out with a hamstring injury, though.

As for the Tigers, Markus Henriksen has returned to training ahead of the trip to Goodison Park. But following a long spell on the sidelines with a shoulder problem, this weekend may come slightly too soon for the Norwegian. Evandro (calf) remains out, though, while forward Oumar Niasse is ineligible to face his parent club.

James Morrison suffered an ankle injury this week, and is a doubt ahead of West Bromwich Albion’s home fixture against Arsenal. Matt Phillips looks set to miss out with a hamstring injury once again.

Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both doubts ahead of Arsenal’s trip to The Hawthorns. Arsene Wenger revealed Gibbs is “uncertain,” while Oxlade-Chamberlain was due to undergo a test yesterday after picking up a hamstring injury during the 5-0 win over Lincoln City in the FA Cup. Mohamed Elneny has returned from an ankle injury, though, and could come back into the squad.

Glen Johnson is out of Stoke City’s home clash against leaders Chelsea due to a shoulder injury, but Mame Biram Diouf is available after recovering from a knock. Xherdan Shaqiri has also been able to train with no issues this week, and is an option for manager Mark Hughes, while Marko Arnautovic has recovered from illness.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ander Herrera are both suspended for Manchester United’s trip to Middlesbrough, while Paul Pogba has been ruled out after picking up a hamstring injury during last night’s 1-0 win over FC Rostov in the Europa League. Daley Blind will need to be assessed ahead of the trip to the Riverside after suffering a knock to the head in the same match, while Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney are both injury doubts.

Patrick van Aanholt will miss Crystal Palace’s home match against Watford due to an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Etienne Capoue is a doubt for the Eagles’ opponents Watford, having missed a couple of days training this week due to illness, with the midfielder set to be assessed today. Daryl Janmaat and Nordin Amrabat are both fit to return, though, following groin and ankle injuries respectively.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche stated that midfielder Steven Defour is “touch and go” for the trip to Sunderland – the Belgian has recovered from a hamstring injury, but is lacking match fitness. Johann Berg Gudmundsson remains out with a knee injury.

Mark Noble has been ruled out for West Ham United’s home encounter against Leicester City, after aggravating a knock during last weekend’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth. Robert Snodgrass (ankle sprain) is expected to be fit for the Hammers.

Nampalys Mendy was able to take some part in Thursday’s training session for Leicester City ahead of their trip to the London Stadium, but the midfielder is only rated as “50/50” to be named in the Foxes squad. All the players who featured in Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday night are said to be okay, though.

Based on the team news and the FPL yellow flag, while Firmino returned to training, he still seems doubtful? Any other information suggesting that he is 100%? Thanks!

My instinct (based on just that, no facts) is that Firmino will start against Citeh. News reports are saying he's back in training and he's too important to miss the Citeh game, imo.

Thanks, Twisted. It impacts my decision to sell either Firm to Sanchez or my 5th mid and play 3-5-2 or AOA.

Check the latest news from Klopp - apparently Firmino hasn't trained with the team yet. I'd still expect him to play but maybe he's more of a risk now.

With no FTs, am I ready to go?

    Pick
    Walker/ Alonso/ Funes Mori
    Sanchez/ Siggy/ King/ Davies
    Aguero/ Costa/ Lukaku (c)

    Pick/ Robertson/ Fletcher/ Pieters

Weak bench and Funes Mori is a concern. Might take a hit for him if you have enough moolar. Mawson maybe.

It's a bit of a gamble. He might get a partial match. But probably not worth taking a hit over! Maybe replace him next week Davies or Mawson, or perhaps preferably a Southampton defender.

Hi 🙂 I'm definitely buying Alli but for who?

    My team at present is
    Grant Randolph
    Colman Baines Alonso Mawson McAuley
Mane Siggy Firmino Lanzini De Roon
    Lukaku Llorente Kane

    I'm thinking either
    de Roon to go 352
or Firmino to go 442 and keep the money so I can buy Sanchez or whoever later easily
    or Lanzini for same reason

    what would you do?

Really? Everton and Bournemouth at home after Citeh.

I'd lose Lanzini before Firmino. If you're playing De Roon this week, then I'd sell him for Alli and bench Kane.

I don't know why people are selling Firmino I'd be keeping I'm confident he'll play he's been in light training all week, and with Origi potentially out they'll have even more reason to get him ready for the game.

"...Firmino didn't train with team so far, but should either today or tomorrow."

I think Klopp INTENDS to play him, and here is my calculus: He hasn't trained because he was hurt. What if he trains and reinjures it? That is the risk. Now, anyone can get hurt training, but I think the probabilities are a little higher for someone who is coming off of an injury. Sooooo, for folks who are set on getting Sanchez and/or Hazard, I think Firmino is a logical sell.

Good afternoon lads. Should I use the (useless) All Out Attack chip this weekend?

          Pickford (Heaton)
          Coleman, Alonso, Brunt (Chambers, Maguire)
          Mane, Coutinho, Antonio, Siggy (Grosicki)
          Lukaku, Kun, Llorente

Should I play Grosicki instead of Brunt? Have a feeling Everton will concede.

A unless you want Gabbi anyway, in which case I'd do it. I think he'll score against Spurs.

          Has this already been posted?

"Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is hopeful key trio Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso and Robbie Keane will be available for Sunday's crunch showdown.

'The three players have had some problems,' said Benitez, 'it was a little bit of a muscle problem for Robbie. Gerrard is okay. He was really tired and Alonso has a knock on his knee."
