With 13 days remaining until domestic action resumes, we thought we’d remind you of the two Fantasy Football Scout cups that are still open to enter.

As mentioned last week, we have launched our 14th open-to-all tournament, along with a tenth Members competition.

We are offering up £350 in Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk vouchers for the final top three managers in both tournaments.

Non-members can sign up to the open tournament here.

Our members can sign up to both tournaments, via entry forms here and here.

Timetable

The qualifying round for both Cups was Gameweek 29, with the first round running in Gameweek 30.

It’s not too late to get involved, though, if you haven’t done so already.

Fantasy managers can enter their teams from now right up to 10.30am on Monday March 27 – ie, a week today – when we’ll stop entry and make the first round draws shortly after.

The first round will consist of 512 teams and, as usual, all the previous winners who enter will gain a bye into the first round draw, where they will join the top scorers from Gameweek 29.

Previous winners must enter with the same usernames to gain their bye.

Both these cup competitions will be played out according to the following Gameweek schedule:

FFS Cups Round Dates
Qualifying – Gameweek 29
Round 1 – 512 teams – Gameweek 30
Round 2 – 256 teams – Gameweek 31
Round 3 – 128 teams – Gameweek 32
Round 4 – 64 teams – Gameweek 33
Round 5 – 32 teams – Gameweek 34
Round 6 – 16 teams – Gameweek 35
Quarter-Final – 8 teams – Gameweek 36
Semi-Finals – 4 teams – Gameweek 37
Final and third place play-off – 2 teams – Gameweek 38

When are the fixtures released?
The fixture list for each round will be published a day or two before each Gameweek deadline. The first round draw will be made and published shortly after March 27.

Prizes

Overall prizes

1st Place: £200 Amazon voucher
2nd Place: £100 Voucher
3rd Place: £50 Voucher

Entry Details

After entering the cups via the links above, you will be sent a confirmation email to verify your entry.

You’ll also be asked to confirm your FPL team id at the point of entry – please be sure to click the link to verify that your team is correct before confirming. If you FPL team is incorrectly entered, we cannot amend this at a later date.

Your FPL Id is your unique Id for your FPL team. This is found via your Gameweek History page – the link to which is found in the right hand menu under your FPL team strip. When you visit your Gameweek History you will see a number in the URL (as opposed to the XXX below).

https://fantasy.premierleague.com/a/entry/XXX/history

Place this 1-7 digit number or your Gameweek History URL in the FPL id field on the entry form.

You entry is only confirmed once you have confirmed your FPL team Id as part of the process.

To check that you’re entered correctly, please scan the list of current entries.

We ask you to supply a FFScout username so we can feature you, as a member of our community, in any articles associated with the tournament. Ideally, you will already have a username with us but this is not essential to enter. You must, however, supply a username for the purpose of the tournament so you can be identified in articles.

You must not change this username throughout the course of the tournament. Should you do so without permission, or should you enter multiple teams or if your FFS account comes under moderation for any reason, we reserve the right to remove you from a tournament.

My favorite player in FIFA 17 for atleast 2 seasons is Santi Cazorla.. he's perfect if you like playing a passing game through midfield, and he's not OP so it doesn't feel unrealistic

Costa over Vardy? The only thing I don't like about him is that he isn't very explosive.

Yeah. Call me conservative, but I'd rather Costa personally. Vardy's goal and assist at the weekend were pretty fortunate if I'm remembering Mahrez's goal correctly.

    International break important stuff 🙂

Forget Breaking bad, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Sopranos and Walking dead, what are the best ever mini series diffs? For me

Band of Brothers (not a real diff but the best)
    Boardwalk Empire
    Deadwood
    Rome
    Life on Mars
    Peaky Blinders
    Sharpe

Band of Brothers was great! I might give that a re-watch actually...

Battlestar Galactica - Not as in your face Sci Fi as you'd expect, it's a proper drama series... great premise.
Westworld - Only one season at the moment but might be the best Season 1 of anything I've seen.
True Detective Season 1 - Matthew McConaughey steals the show 😀

None of these are exactly diffs either...

What's great about it is that we're dealing with real life historical events and names (more or less, apart form the main character ). Also, fun fact : the main baddie viking in last series was Ragnors son from Vikings series

Thinking about doing something different and Bench boosting in 34, saving the TC for Sanchez in 37. It may fail miserably but could be gold if it works out with most using the BB in 37.

I am thinking of ditching Hazard for Alli from 31 onwards. Hazard won't be in my team til 35 or 36 again.

Costa and Hazard are obvious captain choices this week but worth getting in already if not an owner is all I am saying.

And yes you may well ask why I don't have Alli already .. it's complicated.

Will there be two or three double gameweeks?

If there are only two, surely the wildcard is a total waste for GW34. Gotta be Ibra triple captain instead, right?

Some of us don't have to worry about TC. 😉

Most will do WC GW35/36, BB 37.

TC will probably be Ibra, Gabby (depending on when SOU have their DGW) or Sanchez if fit.

That's my point on the previous page. Most will take that view which means the existing picks for everybody (Spurs Chelsea etc) will all still be in place for DGW37 with the addition of Ibta Valencia Sanchez and maybe Gabbi.

This DGW34 announcement has been bad for both DGW34 and DGW37.

        hello All,

        1 FT 0.0m ITB

        Pickford (Caballero)
        Alonso, Valencia, Vertonghen (Coleman, Yoshi)
        Sanchez, Mane, Alli, Siggy, King
        Costa, Lukaku (Gabbi)

Early thinking is that I will save FT as long as Sanchez is fit and then have 2FT in GW31 to sort out Gabbi if required or whatever else needs fixing. Even if Sanchez is out, I may just start Coleman or Yoshi and still save FT. Sound OK or any other suggestions?

Mouthwatering stuff... If it's even nearly as good as BoB, it will be amazing!

Is Alonso more attacking when Hazard is out? Might get him back for a 3rd time.

I'm on wildcard. Do Eriksen (8.6) to Alli before the price rise?

That's a possibility. But if you would choose one of em? Could do Eriksen->Alli now and buy Eriksen back later.

Eriksen will rise too soon, so if you can gain 0.1m from him with another rise then it's defo better to wait with Eriksen to gain that 0.1m and then buy Alli even if it's 0.1m more expensive, that way you get more TV built.... That is if you want Alli over Eriksen.... I'd want them both at least until Kane is back...

Why not just keep Eriksen though if you want just one of them? Seems like a waste of a transfer to me...
