Did you think your summer would be dull without fantasy football? Fear not. The developers of Fantasy Premier League have launched a brand new game called Eliteserien Fantasy.

The game will feature the Norwegian top divison. The site is currently only in Norwegian but it is fairly easy to register and use if you are used to FPL.

The concept and rules are the same as FPL, the only differences being no chips and there’s a  ‘man in the stand’  for bonus points.

The season will have 30 Gameweeks between April and November. A third of the season will be played during the off-season in FPL so this game could soften the summer blow for Fantasy Footy junkies.

Already 58 players have  joined the FFS league, including FPL legend Ville Rönkä. The league code is: 3769-1041

In this article I will take a look at the 16 teams and the players to keep an eye on.

Rosenborg

Having won ‘the double’ two seasons in a row, there is no doubt who is the gigantic fish in this pond. Both league titles have been comfortable with a tally of 69 points, an average of staggering 2.3 points per game. The Rosenborg domination is set to continue with the acquisition of Nicklas Bendtner (12.5). Not only is the insane Dane the most expensive player in the game, he currently also sits in over half the teams.

Mixed results and a few injuries during the pre season, there remains uncertainty around the form of their key players. Rosenborg meet Brann in a face off between last year’s top two teams on March 29. This may give us some answers, or pose more questions as it will be the first of four games Rosenborg play in 10 days. This fixture congestion could be a good reason to overlook the pricey Bendtner for now.

Top 3 targets: Mike Jensen (10.5 MID), Fredrik Midtsjo (8.5 MID), Nicklas Bendtner (12.5 FWD)

Brann

After a shock relegation despite being title contenders in 2014, Brann bounced straight back up the following year. They used that momentum and enjoyed a successful return to the top division, eventually finishing second. Brann’s excellent defence is expected to do well this season as well, especially as Piotr Leciejewski (5.5) might be the best goalkeeper in the league. Early investment in Brann players could pay dividends as their opening few fixtures seem favourable.

Top 3 targets: Fredrik Haugen (9.0 MID), Vito Wormgoor (5.5 DEF), Torgeir Børven (9.0 FWD)

Odd

Starting last season with six consecutive clean sheets, Odd laid the foundations for what turned out to be a third place finish and Europa League qualification. The last 24 games only saw three additional clean sheets but Odd will nonetheless provide excellent defensive options. Espen Ruud (6.5) might prove to be the most essential player in the game. To go along with his nine clean sheets, the right back also managed five goals and eight assists last season.

Top 3 targets: Espen Ruud (6.5 DEF), Fredrik Nordkvelle (9.0 MID), Sondre Rossbach (5.5 GK)

Haugesund

Expect the unexpected when Haugesund are playing. One season they battle for the Europa League places, the next they fight for survival. Given they finished fourth last season, this year their assets may be best avoided! Defensively Haugesund are not much to write home about. Their midfielders have to bear the burden if they are to replicate last year’s form.

Top 3 targets: Haris Hajradinovic (7.5 MID), Erik Huseklepp (8.5 MID), Ibrahim Shuaibu (5.0 FWD)

Molde

Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s second period as Molde manager has failed to reach the heights of his first stint at the club thus far. Back then he led Molde to back-to-back titles, whilst his latest reign has resulted in 6th and 5th placed finishes. With a wealth of options in every position, picking the right Molde players could be a minefield. Solskjær’s preferred tactic seems to be resting players from time to time. Heavy investment in Molde’s assets is probably best avoided to start with.

Top 3 targets: Bjorn Sigurdarson (9.0 FWD), Sander Svendsen (8.5 MID), Mattias Mostrom (6.5 MID)

Sarpsborg

A stable mid table team for the last couple of seasons, Sarpsborg normally go about their business quietly. They do not concede many but they do not score that many either. In fact, their most prolific attacker finished 40th in terms of attacking returns last season. Big things are therefore expected of the attacking minded Krepin Diatta (6.0), an easy on the eye Senegalese U20 international who arrived last month. A Sarpsborg defender could be a must have as they managed 13 clean sheets in the last campaign, with nine of them coming on home soil.

Top 3 targets: Krepin Diatta (6.0 MID), Sigurd Rosted (5.5 DEF), Jonas Lindberg (5.5 FWD)

Strømsgodset

After being a top side since the beginning of the decade, Strømsgodset found themselves finishing mid table last season. They produce fluent attacking play and are a joy to watch, especially at home. Jonathan Parr (6.0) provides us with a potential OOP option. Listed as a defender, the former Crystal Palace and Ipswich left back played a lot on the left wing last autumn. The signing of the experienced left back Stian Ringstad (5.5) could mean a permanent shift to the wing for Parr.

Top 3 targets: Jonathan Parr (6.0 DEF), Marcus Pedersen (10.5 FWD), Lars Vilsvik (6.0 DEF)

Viking

There is not much buzz around Viking at the moment. Kwesi Appiah (7.0) has been signed on loan from Crystal Palace. Despite only being 26, this will be the striker’s sixteenth club in his senior career. Whether he can settle in and finally make it count remains to be seen. With an unfavourable set of fixtures to start the season, overlooking Viking options for the opening might be the best solution.

Top 3 targets: Kwesi Appiah (7.0 FWD), Julian Ryerson (4.5 DEF) Samuel Adegbenro (7.5 MID)

Aalesund

Highest goalscorer from last season still in the league this term is Mos (8.5). He will undoubtably be key this year as well but he is not the only threat Aalesund pose. Most of their goals in the pre season have come from set pieces. Centre back Mantyla has scored three goals without even starting a game but it is another centre back stealing the limelight. Daniel Gretarsson (5.0) has also scored three goals from his four starts this winter. However, Aalesund do concede a lot of goals so any defensive investment has to be purely because of their set piece threat.

Top 3 targets: Mos (8.5 FWD), Edwin Gyasi (7.5 MID), Daniel Gretarsson (5.0 DEF)

Vålerenga

Being the only representation from the capital, Vålerenga have failed to live up to expectations for a good few years. This season they have hired the services of former Celtic manager Ronny Deila. An attacking minded leader, Deila made his name at Strømsgodset where he took the team to league glory in 2013. After years of struggle to get permission and finances to build their own stadium on their side of the city, Vålerenga will finally be moving to their new home mid season. This will likely give them a solid boost throughout the season.

Top 3 targets: Ghayas Zahid (10.5 MID), Mohammed Abdellaoue (9.5 FWD), Markus Nakkim (5.0 DEF)

Sogndal

Gilbert Koomson (7.5) was the only assister in the league to reach double figures last season. However, that is a steep price tag for a player in a team that most likely will be in for a relegation battle. Sogndal had a good defence last season but the latest results in pre season do not exactly look encouraging. Still, if they can replicate some of that defensive form then they have several decent budget options in their team.

Top 3 targets: Matias Dyngeland (4.5 GK), Bjørn Utvik (4.5 DEF), Gilbert Koomson (7.5 MID)

Lillestrøm

Celebrating their 100 years anniversary, Lillestrøm will be hoping they avoid the dogfight this time around. They were dead and buried with five games to play but managed to survive by collecting 11 points from those games. Most of the players are very generously priced, probably reflected by last year’s finish. Lillestrøm should be competing for a place in the upper half of the table. If they manage to do that then there are a few potential bargains in their squad. Daniel Fernandes (4.0) has impressed in pre season, if he can nail done a starting spot then that provides us with an excellent budget goalkeeper.

Top 3 targets: Daniel Fernandes (4.0 GK), Bajram Ajeti (6.5 FWD), Chigozie Udoji (6.0 MID)

Tromsø

Defensively Tromsø are not a good unit. The onus will be on their attacking play. People will recognise Morten Gamst Pedersen (5.5) from his time at Blackburn. After struggling with injuries last season, the set piece specialist is set to claim a place in the centre of midfield. Some calmness in the middle of the park may be exactly what Tromsø need as their passing accuracy of 68.7 % was the worst in the league.

Top 3 targets: Aron Sigurdarson (6.5 MID), Sloboan Vuk (7.0 FWD), Morten Gamst Pedersen (5.5 MID)

Stabæk

Stabæk were favourites to go down in 2015 but thanks to the heroics of Bob Bradley they managed to finish third. During that summer they lost top scorer Adama Diomande to Hull, whilst Bradley left before the 2016 season. Stabæk barely recovered from those losses and somehow just about managed to survive. They are in for another tough season but they do have a couple of cheap prospects to keep an eye on.

Top 3 targets: Moussa Njie (5.5 MID), Luc Kassi (6.0 MID), Hanche-Olsen (4.5 DEF)

Kristiansund

Thirteen years after the club was formed, Kristiansund won the second tier and gained promotion to the top division for the first time. The promotion campaign was thanks to a good defence and a red hot striker. Daouda Bamba (6.5) scored 20 and assisted twice in 28 games. The Ivorian is young and fearless, and is sure to be amongst the goals also in this league.

Top 3 targets: Daouda Bamba (6.5 FWD), Aliou Coly (4.5 DEF), Sean McDermott (4.0 GK)

Sandefjord

Also gaining promotion prior to this season, Sandefjord are favourites to go straight back down. Genuine fantasy options are therefore far and few between, however they might provide a couple of bench fodder options. Seven defeats and no clean sheets in nine pre season games tells they are in for a very rough ride.

Top 3 targets: Erik Mjelde (6.0 MID), Andre Sødlund (4.5 MID), Flamur Kastrati (6.0 FWD)

Sigurdason (Tromsø) looks like he was benched/subbed more often than not last season, despite 3G/5A.
Max 6.5m alternative mids with attacking potential seem to amount to:

      Thrándarson (AAFK, 6.5m) - 3G/5A, 23 starts/6 subbed on.
      Jradi (SIF, 6.5m) - 4G/2A, 26 starts @ LSK.
      Nwakali (SOG, 6.5m) - 3G/4A, 21 starts/1 subbed on @ Start.
      Barmen (BRA, 6.5m) - 5G/0A, 24 starts/1 subbed on.

      Ibrahim (VIK, 6m) - 2G/6A, 25 starts.
      Kassi (STB, 6m) - 4G/1A, 21 starts/2 subbed on.

      Ernemann (VIK, 5.5m) - 4G/2A, 19 starts @ S08.
      Nielsen (S08, 5.5m) - 2G/4A, 23 starts/5 subbed on.

Assuming price is meaningful & accounting for getting games - Thrándarson, Jradi and Ibrahim seem most appealing. Anything particularly good or bad stand out with these, or pot luck? Cheers

Yeah maybe. Hard to know as 10G/5A last season but playing for Ullensaker/Kisa in lower league. 1G/1A in 2015 for Lillestrøm from 11 appearances (2 starts/9 subbed on).

I need to have a look through the pre-season info above, otherwise wonder about getting games.

News from the clubs for tomorrow:
        - Wormgoor (Brann) won't be playing due to ankle injury, expected to be ready for GW1 though.
        - Bendtner (Rosenborg) will not start the match, combination of resting for league start and not quite match fit yet.

            Thanks for the Wormgoor heads-up.

"I want to be top scorer in the Premier League, top scorer at the World Cup and, within five years, I want to be among the best strikers in the world. Trust me, it will happen." Nicklas Bendtner, 2009.

Right, there have been some questions if there are any places you can catch match of the day equivalents for the league, and I don't have an answer for that. A poor-mans substitute is vglive.no though, live scores and some match updates during the games. You can scroll back through the dates to check earlier games there, showing the format and see if it will be of any help to you at all, might need some translate but better than nothing I guess.

Update: I suggest going back to Sunday's Northern Ireland - Norway match, that will be the most representative to level of detail from the Eliteserien-games.

            @Team Cruel

Notice you tipped Aron Sigurdarson. According to this he was benched a lot: http://www.altomfotball.no/element.do?cmd=player&personId=312941&tournamentId=1&seasonId=338&teamId=315&useFullUrl=false

Was that just due to injury? Thanks

            1) or 2)? 🙂 (with or without Bentdner)

            1)
            Fernandes
            Ruud/Vilsvik/Stølås
            Jensen/Midtsjø/Koomson/Adegbenro/Nije
            Bendtner/Mos

            Bench: McDermott, Ryerson, Moe, Stokke

            2)

            Ruud/Hedenstad/Vilsvik
            Jensen/Midtsjø/Koomson/Adegbenro/Nije

Thanks for comment. The problem with 2) is that having 0.0 itb I have to do 3 transfers to afford Bendtner.

Maybe I should have Mos instead of Abdellaoue wich will make it possible to do Hedenstad and Pedersen -> Stølås and Bendtner (only 2 transfers)?

Not a bad idea. Mikalsen is another with good goal threat at 5.0 too. I think I might stick with Wormgoor. I'll want a Brann defender long-term anyway and if he doesn't play the first game, I have Utvik on the bench. Saves the transfer and hassle of getting one in later

You can't have everything in a 5.5 mid. Either he plays as a winger and relies on open play returns or plays deeper and has some set pieces.

I guess you're right. Don't know if Njie plays as a winger or if he plays deep, same goes for Okland. And maybe I'm being too optimistic in finding the perfect 5.5 midfielder 😆
Which one would you suggest; Njie, Pedersen or Okland?

Looks like Okland has set pieces, but a bit worrying that he got very few goals or assists last year division below. Not sure if MGP is able to stay fit. So that leaves Njie, it's not great. A lot more at 6m like Niemi mentioned below, but even then it's a headache. 🙂

You don't get much for 5.5. There usually come along a couple of good picks in FPL as the season goes on (Phillips, King, Zaha this year), but it's hard to say at the start. None of the 3 mentioned above were looking like good picks at the start of the season.

I'd say for now Njie looks like the best pick at 5.5, but in a couple of weeks there might be better picks. At 6.0 there are some more exciting picks, but big question marks around all of them. Diatta, Bytyqi, Agyiri, Kassi, Qaka, Mjelde and Udoji could all turn out to be good picks. At 6.5 you'll find potential bargains like Juklerød and Sigurdarson, but as the above there are big question marks. Personally I'll go with Njie and midfielders above 7.0 (maybe a 4.5 bench fodder, but hard to find a decent pick).

Not necessarily, I'm very uncertain about whether McDermott and Flo will start.. I think you're more assured of minutes with your first set of players (given that Wormgoor starts this weekend).. If your bench is alright then it could be worth the risk though.

For those of you who want to have a go with google translate, Norwegian experts predict who'll be the young breakout stars of the season: http://www.vg.no/sport/fotball/eliteserien/ekspertenes-dom-rafik-zekhnini-19-blir-eliteseriens-stjerneskudd/a/23956873/

Rafik Zekhnini (Odd) seems to be the pick of the bunch. Other players mentioned are Midtsjø (Rosenborg), Adegbenro (Viking), Tokmac Nguyen (Strømsgodset), Kamer Qaka (Kristiansund), Tobias Svendsen (Molde), Ernest Agyiri (Vålerenga) and Felix Myhre (Vålerenga).

A couple of those are perhaps too young to make a proper impact fantasy wise, but Zekhnini, Midstjø and Adegbenro could really do well.

Nguen could be a decent picks as well, but he is not 100% nailed on at the moment. Zekhnini isn't a 100% starter as well. Midtsjø could be the value pick from Rosenborg, but Adegbenro is my pick from the bunch. Been on fire in pre season and looking for a move in the summer. He also underperformed (according to stats) last season.

Can anybody give me some advice on this please?

            Dyngeland - (Fernandes)
Ruud, Reginiussen, Wormgoor - (Ryerson, Moe)
Helland, Zahid, Diatta, Njie - (Sodlund)
            Bendtner, Mos, Bamba

My price structure in midfield isn't great, but I do want to own Zahid and Helland. Any recommendations for budget options in each position?

Diatta won't start, Helland might be injured. Pretty certain he'll be rested in some of the upcoming matches at least. Wormgoor is a doubt for the weekend (not playing against Rosenborg tonight). I'm not sure if Sodlund is a starter either. Benched in Sandefjords two last training matches.

There are better picks than Reginiussen from Rosenborg (Hedenstad best pick currently, but Meling could be a better pick once he's nailed on at left back).

Not a fan of Bamba, but he scored well in Obosligaen last year. I've gone with Shuaibu @5.0 at Haugesund. Should start and reportedly he's been looking good in pre-season. The last couple of years Haugesund have had strikers scoring really well (before they have been sold to bigger club), so Shuaibu could well be the next one IMO. Bad fixtures though and could be benched if he underperforms, but he is currently a starter.

                Dyngeland - (Fernandes)
Ruud, Hedenstad, Acosta - (Ryerson, Moe)
Midtsjo, Zahid, Adegbenro, Njie - (Sodlund)
                Bendtner, Mos, Bamba

I like it better, but I would like to point at two things:

                  1. Acosta is nailed on, but is a yellow card magnets. In Tippeligaen players get suspended after 3 yellow cards. If you want a Brann defender I'd rather get Kristiansen. Rosted from Sarpsborg or Lundstrøm (good attacking fullback) from Vålerenga are other good picks at 5.5. Albech at 5.0 could be great value at Sarpsborg. I think he's expected to be a starter, but not 100%.

                  2. Adegbenro is an injury doubt for the weekend. I would get Koomson instead at the start.

Sorli at Kristiansund could be a starter, but not certain. Lot of game time in preseason and scored a couple of goals. Heintz at Sarpsborg has been getting a lot of game time as well, but he isn't currently a starter in a fully fit XI.

Don't think there are any nailed on 4.5 mids. Sorli seems to me like the best choice, although I don't have much knowledge about Kristiansund to be honest.

Brann isn't a good attacking team and overperformed last year. Wouldn't say an attacking pick from them is a must. Haugen is the most attacking player in a midfield 3 and not good value at 9.0 IMO (unless he is on penalties). The other attacking picks are too much of a doubt (Børven also overpriced). Vega could be a decent pick, but there are so many question marks around him.

I live in Bergen and go to a lot of Brann's matches. I'm of to see Brann - Rosenborg soon, I'll post an update later.

Personally I'd get Hedenstad over Vilsvik, but that's just my opinion. Triple Rosenborg in midfield/attack might be too much from the start?

Ryerson isn't 100% nailed on, but will get loads of game time in different positions. It's most down too injuries IMO. I currently have him in my team. Coly is a decent attacking prospect, but I don't expect much from Kristiansund.

I'd very much recommend you to get Shuaibu from Haugesund ahead of Stokke. Plays for a much better team and is likely to be a starter.

Adegbenro is also a doubt for the weekend. If this was FPL I guess he would have been yellow flagged with a 75% chance to play.

                Thanks for great comments 🙂

I'm confident in Midtsjø and Jensen (like Alli and Eriksen). Midtsjø is underpriced IMO and Jensen is involved in everything and will be a bonus magnet. Then it's a choice between Hedenstad and Bentdner, and I can't go without him - I could easily transfer him out and get Hedenstad if Bentdner doesn't deliver.

Shuaibu is an interesting pick, but very hard for me to not choose Stokke as one of my closest friends 😉 I think he will start and if not, I do Stokke -> Shuaibu.

I didn't know about Adegbenro - Thanks! Who would you transfer in (max 7.5)? 🙂

The difference between Midtsjø & Jensen and Alli & Eriksen are Midtsjø & Jensen play as central midfielders in a 4-3-3, while Alli & Eriksen play as a part of the attacking 3 in a 4231 or in a 3421. I'd say one of them is pretty much essential, but not sold on both yet. If Helland is injury free he is pretty much essential, but he always pick up a small injury so might not be smart to get him.

Personally I wouldn't get a player just because I know him (same as I won't get players from my favourite team unless they are objectively worth it), but I see your point.

I'd say Koomson, but you already got him. There are lot of potential good choices, but there are question marks around most of them (mostly gametime). Nguen, Vega, Juklerød, Sigurdarson, Udoji and Riski. Riski has been doing well in pre-season and seems to have nailed down a starting spot, but he had a bad season last year and faces competition from Zekhnini, Diouf and Agdestein. Out of the names I've mentioned Nguen would be my pick, but I can't guarantee you returns.

Thanks 🙂 see your point - I think Midtsjø is the better pick between them.

What is your thoughts about going Pedersen instead of Bentdner from the start and doing Pedersen -> Bendtner after around 5 games?

Worried about the fact that Bentdner is not playing this evening!

It's doing my head in. I've had Pedersen and left out Bendtner in almost all of my previous drafts, but now I don't know. I'm scared of Bendtners high ownership.

Wouldn't be worried about the fact that Bendtner is not playing this evening. Rosenborg are resting players for the weekend and Bendtner will most likely start against Odd. They do have a thigh schedule coming up though, so he could be benched in some of the gameweeks after that.

It's currently 50/50 if I get Bendtner or not, but if I go without him I'll have Pedersen in my team for sure.

Decent team. I personally think Haugen is bad value at 9.0, but he is nailed on as a starter. Koomson much better value for the money. Svendsen also a good pick at 8.5 as he'll most likely start as a striker in one of Tippeligaens best team, but some doubt over his game time. Solskjær rotates his team a lot and he's only 19. No one knows.

I'd get Hedenstad in there somewhere as well. Johansen won't get much game time IMO, surely there are better picks at 4.5.

If you feel attacking Brann cover is necessary then Haugen is the way to go. They did overarchieve last year though. From promotion to 2nd place. I attend a lot of their matches and Brann are a pretty boring team. They don't score a lot, but they are really solid at the back. 7 teams scored more goals than Brann last year and I can't see it changing this year with the same coach and no new attacking signings.

Koomson as a captain? Not sure. It's comparable to picking Sigurdsson as a captain IMO. I wouldn't do so as Sogndal (and Swansea) are a pretty average team, but if they do score Koomson (and Sigurdsson) will most likely be involved.

Players that are captain material right now IMO: Bendtner, Helland, Pedersen, Abdellaoue and Zahid. Players like Zekhnini, Svendsen, Ocean, Sigurdarson and Mos could also be decent picks, but I'd put some question marks there. Eliteserien is pretty unpredictable and there will surely be some players scoring big that we didn't expect.

Tempted to go with a 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2 at the start of the season (or even 5 at the back). So many potential good picks in midfield and attack, but also many question marks around lots of them (game time, injuries etc.). Might as well go with a nailed on, attacking defence from the start. Could it pay off? Will most likely wildcard after 3-6 gameweeks anyway and we'll have a lot more information by then.

I think I'm starting with 4 at the back and sticking with it through the season. Back 4 is: Ruud - Hedenstad - Rosted - Wormgoor with Utvik on the bench. I think a 4 man backline is much more viable in this league than in the PL because of the dominance of some teams (and thus their defence), plus the fact that some are so attacking.

Yeah, I agree. I think it's also due to the fact there are few great attacking players in the league currently. There are players like Helland, but he is really a nightmare to own with all his injuries. Many of the best teams also rotate a lot and have few nailed on and great players. Players like Svendsen and Zekhnini has great potential, but at least they were rotated a lot last season. The best teams have a more settled back line and there are some great attacking full backs like Hedenstad, Ruud, Lundstrøm, Meling, Vilsvik, Parr ++ and good options from Sarpsborg and Brann as well.

Worth noting that normally some players that start the season well will be sold in the summer. Fredrik Gulbrandsen, Mohamed Elyounoussi, Suleiman Abdullahi and Fred Friday all scored well at the start of the season. Players like Eirik Ulland Andersen, Mushaga Bakenga and Bjørn Sigurdarson joined clubs in Tippeligaen during the summer and scored well in the second half. If these players had the whole season in Tippeligaen I don't think the point scoring charts would have been dominated so heavily by defenders (most of them remained at the same club for the whole season).

Couple of new players added to the game. Go to the transfers and sort out by ownership (0,0%)

One that caught my eye is Muhamed Keita. 8.5m mid, Välerenga. Played last season for Strömsgodset and Stabaek. 2 million cheaper than Zahid and has a decent record from last season http://www.transfermarkt.com/muhamed-keita/leistungsdaten/spieler/73420/plus/0?saison=2015 If anyone knows more about him, let us know.

Oh, that's cheaper than I expected, will have to decide whether to go Midtsjø+Zahid or Jensen+Keita.

I won't touch him before we know he's nailed on and in good shape. Could be good value after some gameweeks.

What are people's thoughts on starting with Wormgoor, even though he is doubtful for GW1?

I think I'll stick with him as I'll want a Brann defender long-term anyway and if he doesn't play the first game, I have Utvik waiting to come off the bench. It saves having to transfer in a Brann defender later on. Thoughts?

We'll have more information before the gameweek starts. I read Bergens Tidende every day, so I'll probably post here if I see something about Wormgoor.

Not sure if Utvik is 100% nailed on. There has been some talk about Steiring starting, but I think Utvik is still ahead of him in the pecking order.

Thanks. Is Zekhnini not nailed? If not, would you do Koomson > Njie and use the 2.0 to do Zekhnini > 10.5 mid? Really want Koomson though

He'll play most matches I think. Started 19 out of 30 last year and was subbed on in 2 matches. Subbed out in 15 out of 19 starts. Don't remember if he was injured for a period or not, but he's still a young player (19) and pretty unstable in his performances.

What's the rest of your team? I'm pretty sure I want Koomson in my team as he is 100% nailed on, the main attacking threat from his team and on penalties and most set pieces (much like Sigurdsson in FPL).

Fwiw think previous post on Aron Sigurdarson was wrong. På benken on the altomfotball site doesn't seem to mean benched for whole game, just some of it (bit confusing between Byttet inn, Byttet ut & På benken).

På benken simply means that he started on the bench. Byttet inn means subbed on and byttet ut means subbed off.

So på benken simply means he started on the bench as you say, but it doesn't necessarily mean he remained on the bench.

Thanks. Yes I misunderstood it and spent ages looking into alternatives (settled on Thrándarson, Jradi or Ibrahim) but may just leave him then as end of season/friendly form was good.

Which of these combinations is the better pick:

                - Gamst Pedersen & Omoijuanfo

                - Njie & Lehne Olsen or Espejord

I would consider Shuiabu (5.0 at FK Haugesund) as a striker and get a better midfielder.
