For the first half of April, we have teamed up with FanDuel to launch an exclusive free-to-enter “Last Man Standing” style contest, spanning the next four Gameweeks.

Called “Fantasy Football Scout Survivor”, this latest tournament differs from FanDuel’s distinct weekly and daily contest format as it covers a number of Gameweeks, with competitors seeking to survive through to the final round.

The format for “Survivor” will be instantly familiar to anyone who has participated in Fantasy Premier League “Last Man Standing” tournaments.

After each round of fixtures, those managers that rank in the bottom 50% of scores will be eliminated, with the top half marching on to the next stage. That continues until the ultimate winner is crowned – the highest scoring manager in the fourth round of fixtures.

Existing FanDuel customers, as well as those new to the game, are free to take part in this contest, although it is worth noting that this is only available to UK residents.

There are 300 team slots available and entries are limited to one per FanDuel account, so be sure to claim your spot in this exclusive free-to-enter contest.

Also, for new customers that register ahead of this tournament, FanDuel are giving away a free £5 credit, which can be accessed by using the promocode SCOUTFIVER when signing up via this link.

If you’re building a FanDuel lineup for the first time, we recommend taking a look at our strategy guide that examines which players to target in the various positions.

Getting Started

Click here and pick your FanDuel lineup for the first round, taking place in Gameweek 30.

Once your lineup is complete, you will either need to register an account or log in.

If you’re registering for the first time, Don’t forget to use the promo code “SCOUTFIVER” to claim your free credit.

When your line-up is entered, you can log back in and edit it, right up until the kick-off in the first match via the “upcoming” tab.

Should your team qualify for each next round, you will find a dummy line-up available, allowing you to tinker ahead of the next set of fixtures via the ‘upcoming’ tab in the FanDuel lobby.

Schedule and Prizes

The competition takes place over Gameweeks 30 -33, with the deadline for entries set for 12:30pm Saturday, April 1.

Here is the full list of rounds and the number of teams involved in each:

  • Round one – Saturday 1st April – 300
  • Round two – Saturday 8th April – 120
  • Round three – Saturday 15th April – 60
  • Grand Final  – Saturday 22nd April – 25

The winner is the competitor with the highest round four score, who will receive a £30 Amazon voucher and a £20 FanDuel credit.

The highest scorer in rounds one to three will receive a free entry into the following week’s Fan Favourite competition.

Who's gonna get more points in gw 30?
    Lanzini vs Hull City (A)
    Llorente vs Middlesbrough (H)

Dunno. Both games could descend into a goal fest or alternatively a bore draw.

    Redmond or Tadic?

I'm leaning towards Tadic but his game time worries me. Always looks likely to be hauled off between 60-80 mins

Redmond has improved his finishing of late but not convinced this will be ongoing. Has been soooo wasteful most of the season.
If he has turned the corner regards finishing he would be a no brainer. Not convinced though - flip da coin

Tadic has been quite critical of Puel of late in the media, frustrated at being continually subbed. I'd be a bit wary, something's not quite right between those 2.

    Is Ward-Prowse a viable option?

Generally plays the full 90, shares set-pieces with Tadic, has scored attacking points in 3 of his last 5 matches, stats look decent, and only costs 5.0

No sadly, I fell at the first hurdle.

Basically when I do well at FPL I do poorly at FD....need to start coordinating them so I either do well or poorly in both at the same time.

You don't wanna do poorly in both!

One thing I really like about FanDuel is you can pick the players that you think will do well that you know you can't have in your FPL team, although dealing with the conflict of interest can be tough.

    Hi guys,

I know plans never work out but i've been playing around and think the bwlow looks good in terms of getting in a spurs player & also Ibra when the time comes.

GW 30 - Jones to Valencia, Heaton to Valdes
GW 31- King to Eriksen, Llorente to Negredo
    GW32 - Save
Gw 33 - Mane to coutinho or Alonso to Stones
    GW34 - Lukaku to Ibra
    GW 35 - WC

    Current team is:

    Heaton / Pickford

    Jones / Alonso / PVA / Evans / Holgate

    Sanchez / Mane / Pedro / King / T Carroll

    Aguero / Lukaku / Llorente

    Any thoughts appreciated

    Cheers,

      Look Fine to me.
What's your thinking in regards to Gw 33 transfer?

Thinking of Heaton > Pickford (already have Valdes). Time for Heaton to go you think?

I think i'll probably do Mane to Coutinho although he is in terribel form at the moment.

I was set on having Heaton as a season keeper, but with the double GW 34 i think Valdes is as good a shout as Chambers which is popular on here. Seems a good chance to save a bit of cash, get a double in and see what happens.

Obviously you would be going for the same keepes as me which i think is good, pickford plays every week, has some ok fixtures and might get save points. Pickford / vades seems a good budget rotation for rest of the season

    Siggy-Mane-Carroll-Son-Markovic**

    Thinking.

    Heaton > Pickford

Much like a city centre this place is so peaceful on a sunny Friday afternoon. Give it 6 hours and the drunkards will return to cause chaos

Bench fodder 3rd Fwd in a 3-5-2 before WC.

Is there any value in getting either Gestede/Stuani over Ashley Barnes with one eye on the Boro double in GW34?

It would be a punt. I'd go Gestede if you're up for one

Not nailed though... Barnes seems as good as any.

Not even sure i would want to play a Boro forward with a double if it means benching any of the below given their GW34 fixtures:

        Sanchez Mane Alli Siggy King
        Lukaku Costa or Ibra

Help pls...would really love to play Lanzini (hul) but who to bench?
    Ali Mane King Siggy
    Costa Lukaku Llorente

    Cheers!

do you think Lanzini would score more than Llorente? I have already benched 10pts from Lanzini last week...

I think you’re going to have a benching headache most weeks with that lot.

Maybe downgrade Llorente and go 3-5-2?

Is Coleman to Bertrand bad move? I also have Williams but he is cheaper and I will use him in gw 32-33-34

You don't have Coleman for his CS points. You have him because you'd be happy to start him 38 weeks of the season.

FWIW, I like the idea behind the move. Bertrand an excellent option, but keeping Williams not a great move for me

So Williams to Bertrand much better option? Or Gibson from MID for double gw.

      I don't love it.

Coleman > Valenca/Alonso/Walker are the only ones worthwhile I think

how about a RMT for a slow Friday?

    Pick,
    Alonso, Brunt, McAuley
    Pedro, Cout, Mane, Alexis, Alli
    Lukaku, Llorente

    (Gabbi, FunesMori, Amat, Heaton)
    0FT, 0.9itb.

I'm thinking Brunt/McAuley to Valencia or Yoshida, but not for a hit.

If Smalling and Jones are out, then it's Valencia and Bailly as definitely, and which two most likely of Rojo, Blind, Darmian, Shaw?

    1. Moin
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

I think the priority has been in this order:

      Valencia
      Jones
      Smalling/Bailly/Rojo
      Blind
      Darmain / Shaw

      1. Colonel Klink
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

So Bailly/Rojo and Blind in central defense.

I think he's saying that's how secure they are per position. So Valencia nailed right back, Jones nailed centre back, alongside one of Smalling, Bailley, Rojo, then Blind ahead of Shaw and Darmian.

Cheers. In this case only two of the four CBs may be healthy, do Bailly and Rojo for WBrom.

Going back to Jafooli's Hot-Topic, Players could also create different teams using their family member's email ID and use that for cash leagues etc. many people do it, I guess...But even the players do that, there is no way to find out and charge them, so we will just have to believe in them to act ethically, while playing both real and fantasy football

I don't give a damn Moin , whether you look after your Grandfathers or your Grandmothers team . But if I am joining an ML league I want to know how many teams you are playing.
99% of us on here only play 1 team and expect that all others do the same.
