After the first four fixtures of Gameweek 31 treated us to just seven goals last night, hopes are a little higher for the remaining six matches.

Many Fantasy managers will be keeping a keen eye on the Emirates as Alexis Sanchez looks to punish West Ham once again.

The Chilean is the third most-captained player this time around, having served up 23 points against the Hammers back in Gameweek 14.

Dele Alli – the most popular midfielder in FPL – and Spurs team-mate Christian Eriksen also have the opportunity to deliver a big profit as they travel to a Swansea City outfit that boasts the worst home defensive record in the top-flight.

Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough are also in action this evening, affording us an early scouting opportunity as both gear up for a double Gameweek 34.

Christian Benteke and Wilfried Zaha roll up to St Mary’s looking to build on their goal and assist apiece away to Chelsea, with Sam Allardyce’s men seeking a fifth straight victory.

‘Boro face a tough task away to Hull, though. The Tigers are a tough nut to crack at home under Marco Silva, with six wins and a draw in seven in front of their own supporters across all competitions. Notably, the Teessiders appear to have opted for a front two for tonight’s clash.

Chelsea and Man City square up at the Bridge in one of two 8pm encounters.

Diego Costa is the second most-captained player for the Gameweek – over 10% are backing the Spain international despite a run of two goals in seven. Meanwhile, for the visitors, Sergio Aguero has persuaded 8% to take an armband punt on the back of three strikes in four.

Liverpool seek to gain revenge on their 4-3 capitulation at the Vitality Stadium earlier in the season as Bournemouth make their way to Anfield. With Sadio Mane sidelined, Philippe Coutinho – the top transfer target for Gameweek 31 – and Roberto Firmino carry the main threat to a defence that’s been breached 31 times already on their travels.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

3 out of the 4 goals Sane has scored have come against big teams, the other was away from home against Sunderland, he has blanked in 2 home games against smaller sides, 2 of the 3 assists he has gotten vs smaller sides have come away from home, he'll be playing Hull at home.

They should just give Craig Shakespeare the World Manager Of The Year Award already.

In five weeks he took a team that was two points from the foot of the table, with the worst form in the league, and won 5 games in a row, turning them into a team that looks like they could win the Premier League.

He also transformed a journeyman striker who had only scored in 3 of the first 25 games into a goal-a-game striker like Messi or Ronaldo.

Whoever was the manager before him mustn't have had a clue what he was doing.

You really think its Shakespere magic? Feels more like attitude problem for Leicester players. They didnt wanted to play for Claudio by any means...

That's cos Ranieri told them to get the finger out if they wanted to challenge for the league and go far in the Champions League. Their recent increase in wages to the rockstar category made them think they were entitled to sit on their *rises. Not all of them but enough to get a good man sacked.

Player power, quite disgraceful that a pro on unreal money can give less than 100%.
Happening more and more often now unfortunately.

Two years in a row now. First Chelsea with Mourinho, then Leicester with Ranieri. Both previous seasons' champions.

Also Swansea this year had a huge turn in form after Bradley was sacked, but I honestly think that was down to Bradley's bad tactics.

Leicester, however, is a clear case of players "downing tools", which I agree is disgraceful. At the start of the season I was rooting for Leicester (and Ranieri) to go on and win the Champions League to complete the fairytale, but now I'm hoping they get knocked out as soon as possible. The players don't deserve the success after what they did. I know this probably isn't the popular opinion on here, but this is how I feel.

I think you would be surprised tbh.
Almost every one of my mates wanted Leicester to be relegated, I did too!
I will definitely be an Athletico fan for the next couple of weeks as well.

Pickford or Valdes this week? Tempted to play Pickford incase United's attackers decide to make him Superman again.

The way we are playing, Pickford will have 8-9 saves easily

Leicester travel to Spain next midweek to play what would be their 4th game in 11 days. Arguably the biggest game in their club's history.

With this is mind it is feasible that Shakespeare fields a significantly weakened team to face Everton. Their next 4 league games are all away also. Seems a good time to get rid of Vardy for Lukaku/Ibra/Kun etc.

On that note Lukaku and his home form, in particular against weaker sides, has to be a good captain option.

                        Yes.

As long as Leicester are semi-clear of the drop zone I think they should focus on going as far as they can. I can see rests.

They will try to keep momentum but their focus has to be on the champions league. Not arguably their biggest game in club history - their biggest game in club history.

Yes, and on top of that, the league game that they should really focus on is vs Palace. Lukaku could fill his boots vs a second-string backline.

                      Early wildcarders are we content?
I have to say it couldn't have gone too much better for me really. Since fielding a strong X1 for 28, then wildcarding in 29, I have jumped from 64k to 7k in four GWs 🙂
The late wilcarders are still very much to be feared so I will enjoy it while I can 😉

The timing of the WC is really team specific so probably no real right or wrong time to play it. If I had not played mine in 29 I'd be very lucky to be in the top 100k now rather than the top 10k.

I have never understood people who steadfastly refuse to wildcard when it's obvious that their team is in poor shape.
What you gain over 6 or 7 weeks far exceeds any benefit a big dgw provides, especially when you know what core group of players you want for the doubles already.

Rojo and Bailly should be nailed. I don't think Mourinho is fond of Blind and there's no other options available... unless he decides to stick carrick or (god forbid) fellaini back there :/

                      Would appreciate any suggestions:

                      Jaku (Foster)
                      Alonso Walker Fernandez Nyom (Funes*)
                      Sanchez Siggy King Alli (Antonio)
                      Vardy Lukaku (Llorente)

I just realised a very brave 4 point hit I could do

                      Carroll out Aguero in
                      Sanchez out Wallcott in

Not sure if I am that brave though

Form and fixtures it would make sense!

I still have my wildcard though so I can afford to take the risk to get sanchez back gw 37

Aguero v hull seems too tempting and my other option of getting rid of lukaku for aguero for free does not seem wise.

But that's because I'm considering Aguero essential this week

But wouldn't you want Sanchez back for the DGWs?

Also, Carroll (SWA) and Sanchez (WAT) could really hurt...
