Dugout Discussion – Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

Gameweek 32 concludes at Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace – with victories in four of their last five Premier League matches – look to maintain their recent revival against London rivals Arsenal.

Sam Allardyce’s’ Eagles have kept clean sheets in their last two home outings but a shut-out looks unlikely this evening: they face an Arsenal side who have scored in each of their previous twenty matches in the Premier League, with key Fantasy asset Alexis Sanchez a big factor in that statistic.

The Chilean has notched 12 goals and supplied five assists on the road this season – more than any other player – and is backed by 309,000+ or 7% with the captaincy this evening.

He’s supported by an in-form Theo Walcott, with the FPL midfielder boasting goals in back-to-back Gameweeks as he bids to provide us with a cheaper alternative to Sanchez. Impressively, Walcott has scored 18 goals from his last 23 starts in all competitions.

      Hit the bar and really should have scored a header. He may not be 100% match fit but Spurs will create so many chances against Bournemouth that it would be a major shock if he wasn't in the points

            It does if you're wasting it in Sanchez while Zaha and King are getting points, King more consistently. Tom Davies also worth a mention. They could free up a lot of cash to give you much better options elsewhere.

      To be honest I find the fire sale baffling... Kneejerk at it's finest.

      He's the top scorer in the game still, Arsenal have not one but two DGWs coming up where you'd think he'll be practically bolted on for 90 each game considering Arsenal now face a real fight for Champions League next year.

      He still looked bothered for most of tonight, just stunted in an otherwise awful Arsenal performance with little happening around him and a resolute palace defence that Arsenal haven't been the only ones to struggle with as of late.

      But hey, the more people that sell him the better for me when he next explodes, and it WILL come. Sanchez could be a virtual differential by the time his DGWs come round 😀

      I like the team. Negredo is a bit meh but I think he will start. Really like the midfield! Lukaku could hurt you but can't have everybody I guess.

      How far are you behind? Having no Lukaku next week could be season ending! Top 10k effective ownership will probably be over 120%. I'd only go without if you were really desperate - otherwise I'd just keep the money in the bank to upgrade Lukaku --> Ibra after next week
