Our post-Gameweek members article assessing some of the top performers arrives once again this evening.
With many Fantasy managers now looking to wield Wildcards, we cast an eye over in-form and in-demand attackers and also assess some of the stand-out assets in defence ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.
No WC left and chasing about 30p behind in my ML. What to do with this lot?

I agree...Alli leaves more cash to free up in defense though. And Eriksen might be in sligthly better form.

Yer although Mustafi has been terrible so even if he's back he may well have lost his place. I think Gabriel is probably likely to play all the games now regardless of what people are saying. Poor last game but been good till then
Say im chasing 30p behind, is it to risky to do Alli+Mustafi->Hazard+Verts for -8 if i know my ML leader will do -4 himself?
That would free up -4 for Chambers+Randolph -> Pickford+5.1def next week, like maybe Gabriel.
Will cost -12 total though. But I feel like i have to gamble.
Tough one because when you playing catch up it's not a good idea giving your rival free points. I do like the moves though . Go with instinct mate. Not as many regrets then
Its risky. But my rival will do -4 at least this week, which makes it effectivly -8. And he does not have Eriksen, Sanchez or Hazard...so potentially big diffs. Thats why i might drop Alli, and keep Eriksen, big diff in my ML's.
Plan was to save Mustafi and save 4p that way...but if he isnt certain if fit in 37, its a risk.

Just realised he has 7sgw players atm. If i do the moses I will only have 2. Both have Bb left, nobody has WC. Does that make the risk more worth it in your opinion?

Got to be Forster as Saints defensive pick hasn't it ?...I really can't see a CS this week and the alternative for defenders from other teams look better than Yoshida's CS prospects...
Surely it's save pts we need to be going for with the same outside prospect of a CS as Yoshida as well.

Nonetheless he has the same CS potential as Yoshida but with the added bonus of potential save pts against Pool and Arsenal...surely he's the better pick...

I have a similiar idea with going big for the defence. You think Monreal + Anichebe is better than Gabbiandini and a cheap def?
Last season I opted to BB in DGW 34 and my buddy opted to go TC on Sanchez instead that week. He got 3 goals in DGW 34, something like 80+ points. I did pretty well too with my BB but I was amazed to see that kind of score for a single player.
I TC'ed him that week too. Got 75 points off him, contributing to my highest GW score ever, 147 points 😎
If you had the same captain, the TC was 25/26.
True, don't remember if I did or not. I do recall blowing my TC on Lukaku the week before. Maybe that's partially what fed my amazement
Aguero and Sanchez got roughly the same score and you probably had one of them.
Totally different Sanchez than is playing right now, or I wouldn't even think about BBing this week!
Crazy to think how many points you can get from these chips if you just hit it right out of dumb luck (single GW 20+ haul or something)
TM, I see you commenting on people's post considering BB that it'll likely yield 12-5 points even given the doubles. You may well be right, just wondering what you're hoping your bench to be for 37 and expected points.
Hard to see there being 20 points in any bench left anymore.
I'll probably supersize my bench for a hit next GW. One CS from a defender and you start getting close to 20.
What about something along the lines of Eriksen > Sane and Gabriel > Cahill for a (-4)?
Eriksen could beat Sane but like the 2nd one.
Or alternatively, Holgate > Kompany and Eriksen > Pedro?
Gives me an extra game, would mean a bench of Pickford, Gabriel, Stephens, Kompany
All about the outs and ins when BBing. Holgate could outscore Gabriel in 37.
I guess I'm just asking questions that are tough to answer at this point. Perhaps the value in TC this week or 38 is the information I'll get over a week to optimize BB
Bottom line is you need to find the optimal total from the 3 choices.
a) GW36 captain + GW37 or GW38 BB
b) GW37 captain + GW36 or GW38 BB
c) GW38 captain + GW36 or GW37 BB
Think GW37 has to be part of that.
I had 33 on the bench last game week. I used AOA though.... Rough.

Can't help but feel like he's had his usual 3 game spree and will fade away now. Plus sane has the form and fixtures. Eriksen/Alli and Kane is enough Spurs for me

Chances of Costa outscoring Kane for the remainder of the season ? Surely a possibility with those Chelsea fixtures !
I'm very tempted to go with Alli, Eriksen, Hazard & Costa. Opting for Kane would mean downgrading one of Alli/Eriksen to Sane or Monreal to Gabriel. Really want to avoid players who aren't nailed ! Any thoughts ?

Valid point re captaincy, just think Spurs fixtures could potentially prove tricky after WH despite their form.
Brave. If your chasing and nothing to lose then go for it. I'd advise against it if you have a lot to play for. Harry most essential out of spurs

Is anyone else considering Ake over Holgate?
Realistically the only week anyone will play Holgate is GW37 on a BB vs Watford.
In that time Ake could very well start at least one game and has some tasty fixtures. Also 0.3m cheaper.

Yeah I've got £0.3 tied up in Eriksen and nothing in Alli, which is making the decision harder. Alli is £0.6m more expensive effectively!
