Marcus Rashford is a doubt for Manchester United’s trip to Arsenal. Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho could be back in contention for the visit of Southampton, while Benik Afobe is sidelined for Bournemouth’s clash with Stoke.

Granit Xhaka is ruled out of Arsenal’s home clash against Manchester United, after taking a kick to his calf in the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. Shkodran Mustafi has returned to normal training and back-up goalkeeper David Ospina is also back to full fitness.

United boss Jose Mourinho revealed after the 1-0 win over Celta Vigo in the UEFA Europa League that Marcus Rashford had started the match with a small problem, which eventually led to the forward being withdrawn. He is a doubt for the trip to the Emirates, then, while Ashley Young appeared to pick up a hamstring problem last night, and also looks likely to miss out.

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho is back running and has stepped up his recovery from the dead leg that forced him off at Watford on Monday night. Skipper Jordan Henderson is still sidelined for the visit of Southampton.

West Ham United duo Andy Carroll and Arthur Masuaku are both doubts for tonight’s home meeting with Tottenham Hotspur. Hammers boss Slaven Bilic was hoping the pair would be able to train yesterday in order to prove their fitness. Carroll has missed the last two matches with a groin problem, while Masuaku has been struggling with a sore foot.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to the London Stadium, although Danny Rose remains out, with Pochettino hoping the defender will be able to return to full training next week following a knee injury.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe won’t risk midfielder Dan Gosling (calf) for the home meeting with Stoke City. Forward Benik Afobe is also sidelined with the hamstring injury he suffered in last weekend’s 1-0 win over Sunderland.

Saido Berahino has emerged as a doubt for Stoke’s trip to the Vitality Stadium due to illness. Mark Hughes is also waiting on Jonathan Walters, who will be checked again today as he continues to deal with a knee problem.

Defenders Ben Mee, Michael Keane and Stephen Ward are all injury concerns for Burnley manager Sean Dyche ahead of the home encounter with West Bromwich Albion.

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis will again be without Matt Phillips and Hal Robson-Kanu after the pair missed the 1-0 defeat to Leicester City due to hamstring injuries suffered in training.

Hull City head coach Marco Silva has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the home fixture against Sunderland, although Omar Elabdellaoui remains out with a back problem, despite the defender returning to training this week.

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare revealed captain Wes Morgan will miss the home fixture against Watford due to a hamstring injury. Robert Huth suffered a knock to his ankle last weekend, but the German has trained fully, and is “raring to go” according to Shakespeare.

Miguel Britos has been ruled out of the trip to the King Power Stadium with the muscle injury that forced him off during the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool. Hornets head coach Walter Mazzarri will make a decision on Jose Holebas (foot) today, though Younes Kaboul and Craig Cathcart remain out.

Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero looks set to miss the rest of the season with the hamstring injury he suffered in last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United. Fernando Llorente missed training during the early part of the week due to a stomach bug, but he was involved fully on Thursday and is expected to start when the Swans host Everton tomorrow.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman will again have to make do without midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin for the trip to the Liberty Stadium due to a thigh problem.
