The 2016/17 season comes to a close this afternoon, with all 10 Gameweek 38 matches getting underway at 3pm.

We’re spoilt for choice in terms of armband options for the final round of fixtures, with the top three players in this week’s Captain Poll – Alexis Sanchez, Harry Kane and Philippe Coutinho – are serving up their highest hauls of the season in Gameweek 37.

Kane’s four-goal blitz at the King Power takes him two ahead of his nearest challenger Romelu Lukaku for the Golden Boot, while Sanchez welcomes Everton on the back of three successive double-figure tallies.

Throw in champions Chelsea at home to relegated Sunderland (Eden Hazard and Diego Costa both start) and Man City’s trip to a decimated Watford defence and it’s fair to say that goals look very much on Sunday’s agenda.

So sit back and enjoy the frantic next couple of hours’ action – it won’t be until August 12 before domestic action comes back our way again.

    Was at 700k OR in GW 24 and was having a crap year, now at 60k with 90 points pre-baps this week, and winning all my leagues because I listen to the people on here who contribute, also the articles, scoutcast etc.. Definitely getting a subscription next year.

        he hasn't had the team value. That is a lesson we all need to take forward IMO. Being able to have Sanchez, Kane, Jesus etc. is a big thing.

    I love this game sometimes. Just pipped my rival to stop spot in my mini league today, after a tough few weeks. Thanks to everyone here, the advice and group knowledge has made all the difference.

        Agreed. If you're going to sell a player, don't downplay him publicly, that only brings the price lower.

        On the other hand, if he is going to keep Barkley, it can be good to call him out publicly for his lack of productivity, whatever Koeman means by it.
