Time to roll out our first post-Gameweek delve into the 2017/18 members’ data and assess some of the stand-out performers over the opening round of matches.

Tottenham’s top scorer misses chances aplenty as the transfers-out pick up pace. Man City’s front two and Liverpool’s summer signing from Roma arrive for analysis, while Chelsea and Palace’s left wing-backs also make the cut thanks to forward-thinking performances.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Migs has been Liverpool's man of the match tonight

A couple of great saves and a penalty save

That Liverpool defence is truly atrocious and a complete liability

The only thing Palace have to do is hit long diagonal balls in-between our defender's and Benteke will probably score 5 against us. It's a joke.

Matip and Lovren are dumb and dumber. Matip we could get away with if he had a top partner. Lovren is just shite. Henderson too.

"The fullbacks were decent" Granted the teenager Alexander-Arnold played very well until he switched off and was at fault for the Hoffenhiem goal as his man got free to score but the penalty came because Moreno completely abandoned his position to rush up the pitch. He exposed Lovren several times and was out muscled on others. Moreno was a constant defensive liability. So the fullbacks were culpable in, or directly responsible for, the two big events (penalty and goal).

Pointing the finger at the centre backs seems to be the policy with many yet it's the almost complete lack of defensive structure around them that exposes them; a week defensive midfield in front, a flappy goalie behind, and a bunch of shirkers who when faced with a corner fail to block runners and duck corners in their own six yard box.

Like many others, looking to ship Zaha.

Squad as follows with nil ITB:

    Foster Elliott
    Stephens Danilo Mee Dann Long
    Salah KDB Ritchie Zaha Carroll
    Gabbiadini Kane Lukaku

None of the other £7m and below MIDs attract me really, maybe Willian but not enthused. Mkhi is therefore tempting me at £8m. Would rather take a hit for someone I want then settle for a sub par option.

Would need to downgrade £1m elsewhere - where to do this? Danilo down to a £4.5m?

    Lowe?
    TAA?
    Someone else?

Problem I find is that Mane and Salah are both playing on opposite sides to their strong foot so when they're through on goal, unless they have time to cut inside, they have to shoot with their weaker foot and they really struggled with that tonight. Finishing was poor

Must say Mane looks a far better option than Salah, worth the extra 0.5m. He looks sharp and i'm not convinced Salah has the same composure when chances come their way.
Also... Mane is generally just a fun player to have and cheer for.
