Time to roll out our first post-Gameweek delve into the 2017/18 members’ data and assess some of the stand-out performers over the opening round of matches.
Tottenham’s top scorer misses chances aplenty as the transfers-out pick up pace. Man City’s front two and Liverpool’s summer signing from Roma arrive for analysis, while Chelsea and Palace’s left wing-backs also make the cut thanks to forward-thinking performances.
I know it was probably a bit rash but I bit the bullet last night and took a minus 8 to get rid of gabbi fab and zaha . Went for Mounie Mane and Brunt .Nothing to lose at this stage of the season .

Don't think so. Wanted mane so needed 3 transfers. It'll work out in the long run. Mounie looks the real deal and Brunt not been classed as a defender doesn't bother me. I think he can have a big season.

For next 10 fixtures I'd be looking to get SOT Tadic/Redmond or Ward-Prowse depending on your future plans for funds. All played well without scoring much. 4 shots each, Tadic better crossing, Redmond better all-round involvement, Ward-Prowse better price. Thought Atsu (better all-round play) and Mooy (good crossing) both played well and have decent next 4 or 5 fixtures - the choice is yours.

Somebody posted a quote on here the other day about Ramsey, from Wenger, stating that the only reason he didn't start against Leicester was because of his history of injuries at the start of the season and not wanting to risk him.
Does anybody have a source for that? Can't seem to find it.

he didn't start because he was returning from injury..... he will start saturday...... he's tempting but for me his injury prowess is main reason not to.

Got 72 so not too fussed. Got most necessary transfers planned for next 15-16 weeks which means I shouldn't take hits. Just need a good base which is why I'm working out which of these is better. I'm thinking B but we shall see. Even if I used my WC in week 5-7 like I'd originally planned I don't think it'd look much different to this.
If you're on a WC I would prbl go A but with Eriksen instead of Alli. I assume you know that TAA risks being back on the bench after GW3?
Yeah I realise don't worry. Will rotate him out if Clyne comes back in, I'm a Liverpool fan so I'll be keeping a close eye on it. Plus I have Hegazi anyway to rotate in if needed.

Just not fussed at all about Kane. I'll have a spurs player but it'll always be Alli or Eriksen, think Kane is way too expensive in my opinion.

Wild card is the way, never these big hits, otherwise you'll forever be chasing in your mini leagues.
If you've seen the template, go with your gut and wild card, just make sure you've balanced the team well and have got a fully decent bench to cover any injuries and you should be solid.
I'll just through it out there, the early template is looking like Mounie and Lukaku are must haves, Chicarito looks a must have with the fixtures coming up.
Midfield Alli and Son look like big hitters, Salah is a big hitter, Pogba, Knockheart or Richie from Brighton and Newcastle, both very good fixtures, stars for their teams and cheap.
Stay away from Xhaka! don't be fooled by the 10 points, he's rotten.
Defence, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Zanka from Huddersfield, Davies now, Trippier later. Walker (MUST HAVE) he's a right winger classed as a defender, incredible potential for City. Bailly at Utd, gold. Stephens are Saints, GOLD.
Goalies, Eliot the obvious 4.0, Foster, Hart decent 4.5s, go cheap, don't go over 4.5 for the keeper.
This is one very strong template.
