Michail Antonio is available for West Ham’s trip to Southampton. Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is expected to be fit for the home clash against Crystal Palace but West Bromwich Albion’s Jonny Evans is a major doubt for an away day at Burnley.

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the home encounter with Manchester United, though forward Fernando Llorente remains out as he continues to build up his fitness levels after breaking his arm.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe revealed that Jermain Defoe is in contention to start against Watford, after the forward came off the bench in the 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion. A late decision will be made on Simon Francis (hamstring).

Daryl Janmaat, Younes Kaboul and Roberto Pereyra will all miss the trip to Bournemouth after suffering low-grade muscle injuries in the 3-3 draw with Liverpool. Troy Deeney has returned to full training following a groin injury though, while Christian Kabasele (hamstring) and Brice Dja Djédjé (fractured finger) resumed training in the middle of the week and may be available.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the home meeting with West Bromwich Albion.

Jonny Evans (hamstring) looks set to miss West Brom’s trip to Turf Moor, while Gareth McAuley (thigh) and James Morrison (knee) remain sidelined.

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton will be without Izzy Brown for the trip to Leicester City, after the midfielder suffered a hamstring injury during the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp revealed that Daniel Sturridge is expected to be fit for the visit of Crystal Palace to Anfield, but Philippe Coutinho and Nathaniel Clyne both remain out due to back injuries.

Mauricio Pellegrino has a fully fit squad to choose from for Southampton’s home clash against West Ham United, with Ryan Bertrand recovering from a minor knock picked up during the goalless draw with Swansea City.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic will have Michail Antonio available for the trip to Southampton following a hamstring problem, but Manuel Lanzini (knee) will return to training on Monday.

Mark Hughes has confirmed that new signings Bruno Martins Indi, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Jese Rodriguez will all feature in the matchday squad at home to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger welcomes back Per Mertesacker for the trip to Stoke following a facial injury, while the Arsenal boss also revealed that Shkodran Mustafi and Francis Coquelin will be in the squad. Tomorrow’s match is expected to come too soon for Alexis Sanchez (abdominal injury), though.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman revealed club-record signing Gylfi Sigurdsson will undergo tests over the weekend to assess whether he is ready to feature in Monday night’s trip to Manchester City. Sandro Ramirez (heel injury) is a slight doubt after missing last night’s 2-0 win over Hadjuk Split.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

      Really?! in 8 years?!

I've had plenty, especially last season. I've certainly had hits for players who have gone on to score 2 or even 3 in a GW before.

I think the fear about hits is strange - it does not make sense to take a hit for a short term buy, but it makes sense for for a mid or long term one.

They'll all score well throughout the season but it doesn't give you much flexibility if Liverpool have a nightmare fixture you've got 3 attackers potentially struggling. Props stick with one of Mane/Salah and Firmino.

Possibly, I guess though I wouldn't want three at this stage. They reached a point last season after a couple of months where owning three was awesome (I had lallana, firmino and coutinho I think on a week where they all scored double digits), but I don't trust them enough to know that it's a possibility this season just yet

The problem is that so much of your team is reliant on them, and your captaincy picks are limited accordingly. If they fail, then you fail. If they do really well....then you might still lose out, because having them means you cannot afford other great options (Alli, Eriksen, Hazard, Kane, Lukaku, KDB, Jesus for example).

2 is a good amount imo - Mane and Firmino would be my picks. I'm a Salah owner but unconvinced so far.

The issue is next week in particular, especially with the hit negating points potential -

You'll have Firm and Laca in the same game.. and you'll watch Spurs beat Burnley behind the sofa as the majority on here captain Kane.

    Good day, lads!

Who do you think is the best to replace Zaha:
    A) Ward-Prowse
    B) Loftus-Cheek
    C) Fraser
    D) Mooy

    Thanks in advance

I would go Mooy. Fired in something like 8 crosses last week, 1 assist, seems to be on set pieces, team will be on a high after last weeks result. Seems to be essential to Huddersfield who have some decent fixtures coming up.

JWP has fixtures but also plenty of options for change in Saints midfield after disappointing opening week.

RLC - not convinced by Palace, learning a new formation, away at Liverpool this week, lost one of their main attacking threats.

Fraser could have rotation risk as Bournemouth attackers come back to full fitness.

Only one I would be 100% on starting each week over next few weeks would be Mooy.

JWP not showing in provisional line up? Same happened last week of course in The Guardian.

May have missed it but are you doing your captain formula articles again this season?

Looks like Zaha won't drop. Could've saved. -__-
