We turn to the Opta data next for our regular post-Gameweek check on the top performers over the weekend for members.

A host of midfielders catch the eye this week, with assets from Liverpool, Spurs, Leicester and Stoke all impressing. The growing influence of Burnley’s playmaker is also highlighted as we also check in on Manchester City’s left-back debutant at the Vitality Stadium.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

He might come off for Brunt if they are behind, but then he would have lost his cleanie by then anyway.

Maybe TP will play WB's, McCauley Dawson Hegazi in the middle with Nyom and Gibbs flanking.

Poor value. Hegazi is cheaper and Dawson/McAuley will score more.

Don't suppose anybody knows the best Gameweek to use the free hit card? Is it best to use it when the big teams are playing against the small teams?

I ask because all my players are away from home next GW with some tough fixtures. I'm also in a head-to-head league against the only other player who's unbeaten. Would it be a waste to use it now?

Not wise, wait for a double gameweek or a week when only a few teams play. They always happen.

Yeah this make sense cause then u can just have loads of randoms from the same teams and still get points - obv up to only 3 of each from a team

Still talk that Llorente will sign for Chelsea.

As a Chelsea fan & FPL manager who owns Tammy, I'd be all over this move. Llorente is a good back-up; has worked with Conte before.

No Llorente means more playing time for Tammy & with the other improvements at Swansea, could boost his appeal.

Not happy with the Oxlade Chamberlain signing personally.

Rather spent that money on a defender, or used it to get an even better calibre of player for a future transfer.

It's a good signing in terms of squad depth and covering several positions but paying 40m for a half decent player with only a year left on his contract is laughably incompetant. Smacks of owners appeasing fans before Couts leaves ... this is no way the signing to do that.

If you're on a WC, you have to imagine the worst. Say Jones gets injured and Fab is kept mainly for the CL. Then you're playing RLC and Joselu as starters, both with no downgrade potential. Don't think we have enough info on what Pep intends to do with his frontline yet to pick Jesus (although he's a lovely player). I think if you're WCing now, you have to be safer and cover at least 14 positions with players you'd be happy to play for, say, three or four GWs in a row.

Arsenal seem to go through the same phases almost every season. Sell a big player, Defensively exposed, big loss to a top 6 rival, Wenger Out. So what is so different this season that Arsenal are now in a crisis? Missing out on Champions League?

It is strange, it feels as though everybody has suddenly turned on Arsenal and Wenger. I don't know wether it was the media who manufactured this "Arsenal are in crisis" idea and the public followed suit or the otherway round.

They are in crisis and everyone is right to turn on Arsenal and Wenger. It's just that I don't see why this season is suddenly different. They nearly got Top 4 last season and the fans turned on them pretty much all last season. They are so naive defensively but are there that many teams in the PL that can do to them what Pool did? They'll grind out results before long.

No CL which now means involvement in a competition that can and will derail any domestic season.. on top of that it's evident the players aren't playing for a manager who has no officially lost his marbles.. not good

No CL is a blessing for Wenger if he gets Arsenal to beat the lesser teams. Don't see how those 10-2s help a season.

That's fair in the sense that while the record of qualifying every season was highly impressive they were getting destroyed every season.. he can play the second string in the early stages of the EL but when it comes to the latter rounds it's pretty obvious even more so now that EL is far and away the best chance of getting back into the CL and so he will have to take that seriously which will have an impact on a league campaign which will already be faltering imo.. it's a hell of a slog that EL

Yeah, and if you remember, after every hammering to Bayern/Barca, Arsenal just collapse in the league around Feb-March. While the team looks in utter disarray right now, the fans are fickle too. Beat Bournemouth, WBA and Brighton at home, and suddenly, everyone will start being quietly optimistic. The start of every season is usually horrendous. This feels worse but is sadly, no different. Yeah, those Thursday matches are difficult and I'm not sure how he's going to manage that, but I don't see it as the only route to the top 4. Think everyone's forgotten how bad Liverpool looked at the end of last season when they were under pressure. But yeah, he'll need one of the top 5 to drop off and it may just be Spurs turn this time with the Wembley nonsense going around.

Renato Sanches would be best used in a Number 8 position by Swansea where he can use his energy and physicality to push forward. Or in other words, if Clements has any sense, he would keep him as far away from the No.6 position as possible where more defensive maturity is required than Sanches currently possesses.

I feel sorry for Sanches to a degree. He was far from the finished article after his meteoric breakout season at Benfica. Needing time and patience to settle in a new culture and language, he instead found a coach in Ancelotti who wasn't giving young players a chance full stop. He was far too ill-disciplined and lacked the tactical maturity required for the Bundesliga. In the end, Sanches clearly had no future at Bayern after a wretched first year where he only started 9 games all season - and only two after December.

There was too much competition in his position (Arturo Vidal, Xabi Alonso and Thiago Alcantara) and there would have been even more next season in the shape of Rudy and Tolisso, and Goretzka in the year after that.

As Sanches never really acclimatised and his advisor was pushing for a permanent move away. I'm surprised to an extent that the move turned out to be a loan (Milan seemed favourites to sign him until recently), but not surprised that he left as he really had no future in Munich.

Although it was thought that Bayern might loan him to a minor Bundesliga club, two factors may have swung them towards Swansea. Firstly, Ancelotti's connection with Swansea coach Clements, but more brutally - Bayern need to recoup their outlay on the player and putting him in the shop window in the Premier League makes more sense.

Sanches' tactical naivety would have been just as visible at (say) Leverkusen or Freiburg, whereas his all-action style would probably fit in better in a Premier League where disciplined possession football is less of a requirement. And Premier League clubs have money to burn, as we've seen from some of the daft prices that have been agreed in this transfer window.

I had Gross from GW1 and watched Brighton very closely. They offer basically nothing up-front. They will be this season's Middlesborough. Knockaert definitely the best prospect but for that money you could have Richarlison, Brady or the Ox.

People were mocking us for signing a Chelsea reject in the summer, but we're now signing a player who rejected Chelsea
