Our regular post-Gameweek delve into the members’ data is next on our Tuesday schedule.

We look at why Sergio Aguero has profited from a change of tactics and try to ascertain just why Harry Kane’s output remains a major issue at Wembley Stadium.

Man City, Brighton and Liverpool’s playmakers also find a place in this week’s article, while the West Ham and Swansea defences also catch the eye.

I feel a lot of people in these comments would be well-served by going back and reading this HT:

So many people want to play Striker Roulette which I think only leads to massive amounts of frustration (if not a hole in the head) especially in regards to Citeh who is a bit like Liverpool last year: tons of scoring options, can't have them all, stick with one (or two) you like and ride it out.

But all this "Are you going without Kun this week? Are you MENTAL?" is a bit much. Besides selling Lukaku for Kun with the vast differences in ownership could be counted as even more mental this early in the season...

The patient approach is very much winning up to this point but isn't it about time one of these big striker bandwagons actually came off!

I generally agree, but think there's a difference between flip-flopping vs. a considered change of mind after weighing alternatives/stats/state of play.

This is my thinking. I have done Morata to Kun this week with the next couple of months in mind. If Morata gets 2/3 this week and Kun doesn't score (or play), I won't go running back. I will look to get him in 5/6 weeks or so, when Chelsea's fixtures pick up *IF* he has been picking up points over that period. Might be to replace Kun, might be to replace Lukaku.

If you are changing big players for a single game, you're doing it wrong (in my book)

Though I'm sure Morata->Kun was partially inspired by Morata-1 vs Kun-20 this past weekend because it's not like CHE's fixtures are "bad" in their upcoming matches and Morata's form has been fairly good.

I also think most of us plan to stick with the idea of buying a player with not a single gw in mind but multiple (i'm usually in the 3-4 camp) but that shiny new bauble easily turns many heads....

sure and as every week rolls on we get more information but i'm definitely seeing a pattern of these "considered changes of minds" for strikers being built on the backs of a single gameweek haul.

My plan was to stick with Kane & Lukaku for 7 gameweeks.
Not disappointed by Lukaku one bit.
A bit disappointed by Kane but I know he can make up for it in the next 2. If he doesn't I'll get rid on wildcard.

Chasing points / Striker roulette ... what can you mean?

      Wk 1 : Kuku / Batshauyi / Jesus
      Wk 2 : Kuku / Vardy / Mounie
      Wk 3 : Kuku / Kane / Chicarito
      Wk 4 : Kuku / Firmino / Morata
      Wk 5 : Kane / Firmino / Morata
      Wk 6 : Kane / Kun / Morata

I took a gamble on Kane in week 3 for BUR and couldn't afford the price drop for week 4
Plan was sell Kane (eve), hopefully make profit on Firmino and buy back a cheaper Kane for week 5
Week 4, Kuku blanked (0) and Man U looked to be tailing off / harder fixtures, everyone was raving about Firmino, so I ended up swapping Kuku for Kane and keeping Firmino for week 5

For me kolasanic is well better than cedric with how southampton is struggling a bit atm,,,,,also i hate arsenal as much as the next guy but last game against chelsea i saw an outstanding defense and kolasanic is one of the better more attacking defenders for arsenal.

Elliot, 4.0 with the best name
    Kolasinac, Jones, Naughton, Clark, Mee
    Salah, Mhky, Ritchie, Chuopo-Moting, Carroll
    Lukaku, Aguero, Jesus

    Thoughts?

Looks similar to mine, at the moment my worry would be spurs coverage - they have 3 'easy-ish' games coming up - apart from that I have gone for RLC to replace Carroll (who was already in my team) and this was on the basis of his performance last weekend when he really should have scored - I think he will score sooner or later!

I could squeeze jones to davies.

Spurs are a big worry, but Kane is looking expensive compared to the alternatives and upgrading Mhky to Erikson takes up a surprising amount of cash.

Suppose I could downgrade Lascelles to Mbemba and then go for Otamendi + Kola...

Otamendi is not that great, keep Lascelles. Why not Bertrand?

Who is best mid price midfielder?

I'm looking replacement for Antonio and considering Fab or Ramsey.

Forgot to mention that I need mid for 7.0 or under. So Ritchie then?

Antonio is a good pick after Spurs.

I'm in the same dilemma though, not happy about having him in my team...

Is Lacazette now a more interesting option with Welbeck confirmed out for a month?

    Arsenal have great fixs now

Good but not great. A relative differential too. But behind Morata, Kane, Kun, Jesus, Kaku. Plus more expensive than Bobby and Vardy.

Potential WC alternating between 3-4-3 and 4-3-3.

    Elliot / Fabianski

    Kolasinac / Davies / Jones / Lascelles / Long

    Ramsey / Coutinho / Ritchie / RLC / Carroll

    Kun / Kane / lukaku

    0.1 ITB

    what do you think?

WC active, too frustrated so far. How does this look:
    Fabianski (Elliot)
    Otamendi, Monreal, Azpilicueta, Mbemba (Hunemeier)
    Salah, Mhiki, Fabregas (Obiang, King)
    Vardy, Kun, Kane

Mixing line ups to either have Kaku or Kane, prefer balance of this at the moment
