The day concludes with the headline act as champions Chelsea take on early pacesetters Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

The next 90 minutes will be of huge interest for Fantasy managers, with both these teams enjoying improved fixture schedules to follow this encounter.

In attack, Sergio Aguero’s absence with a rib injury throws us a curveball but hands an opportunity for Gabriel Jesus to play his way back into our plans.

Meanwhile in opposition, Alvaro Morata will add the latest chapter to his hugely impressive start to the season. He takes 528,000 new owners into this match, having been the top transfer target ahead of today’s deadline.

There are also key assets on show in midfield, with Eden Hazard auditioning for a role in our squads with this evening’s performance – he makes his first Premier League start.

Elsewhere, David Silva and Raheem Sterling will bid to boost their burgeoning Fantasy stock as the leading scorer and assister among midfielders.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      It's still way too early to give up. I had Kun first 3gws then shipped him for morata. Kun then delivered 4 goals & 2 assists. I then re-swapped them last gw. Morata delivered a hat trick and Kun got injured which cost me 4pts.
      I have countless other examples. The key to success is find a way to quit being affected by bad choices or bad luck. U just have to accept it as an inextricable part of the game and keep shugging along until the pain no longer affects u.
      Over the years, I've trimmed the length of any given pain down from 2-3gws to 2-3hours.. ;)))

    Bit premature but assuming Morata is out for a while;

    A) Morata -> Jesus
    B) Morata + Mkhi -> Lukaku + Sterling (-4)
    C) Other?

    The way I see it, it's probably a grade 1/2 hamstring strain. If this is the case, we're probably looking at anywhere between 1-3 weeks lay off. Luckily, we have international games next week which means the next game for Morata is 14th Oct. That's 2 weeks of the recovery time completed. The chances are Morata will probably only miss one game.

        Even if it's a grade 1 or 2 hamstring strain we're looking at 1-3 weeks out. Thanks to international break, we could just see Morata miss the Palace game. Personally I think he'll make the Palace game.

        1. Somalion
          • 16 Years
          9 years, 16 days ago

          There's no way to grade it so far. Yes, if it's the very minimal it can be then he won't miss too much. If it's a tear or a recurrent injury, which I think it could be (hammy has been at him before if I recall correct) it may be longer and something he knows he's done instantly hence looking for a sub.
