Gameweek 8 concludes at the King Power Stadium with Leicester City hosting West Bromwich Albion.

The Fantasy Football community will be torn heading into this encounter, with allegiances split between the home attack and the Baggies backline.

Jamie Vardy is undoubtedly the star turn on show. Owned by 16.3% of managers, the five-goal striker was brought in by 294,000 ahead of Gameweek 8, the third most popular transfer target. He has goals in his last two in front of his own supporters, but is yet to score against West Brom at home in three attempts.

Elsewhere for the Foxes, Harry Maguire boasts an ownership of 7.4%, attracting just over 40,000 new managers prior to Saturday’s deadline. The centre-back has a goal and an assist from his three home appearances so far.

Ahmed Hegazi remains the most popular asset in the West Brom camp. Still part of 1.3 million squads, he’s been benched by 353,000 (26.9%) ahead of tonight’s clash.

Meanwhile, Ben Foster was due to be backed by an ownership of just over 800,000 but will play no part in tonight’s match having been ruled out with a knee problem. Over 347,000 of his managers named Foster in their starting XI and now turn to their reserve keeper.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Already regret getting Vardy. Don't like the look of this Leicester team.

      West Brom can be a bit of a banana skin game for teams looking to finish around them.

      just realised that I may as well have Calvert-Lewin or abraham, they offer the same threat. I'm saving my ft this week but will be sorely tempted to go 442 as there's no decent mid price option unless firmino turns it around and if you have 3 big strikers the rest of the team suffers

      1. Royal5
        9 years, 3 days ago

        My thoughts as well. Abraham would free more £ to upgrade elsewhere. I'll probably give him one more week though.

      West Brom were never really going to offer him the kind of space he thrives on tbf

      Kind of regret it myself although wouldn't bet against him notching against the Swans

        True about WBA's tactics, still disappointed about Leicester offensive display.

      There's definitely an inflated sense on here of how good Leicester are. They are in the relegation zone at the end of the day - 8.6m seems expensive for a striker in a relegation-threatened team.

    Might swap Jesus to Aguero if he plays some minutes tomorrow.

    Walker / Davies / Jones

    Kane / Jesus / Abraham

    Elliot / Mee / Naughton / Carroll

    Frustrating week, happy with my team on paper but just not picking up points... What do you reckon here? 0.4 ITB, 1FT, WC in pocket.

    Fab (Elliot)
    Alonso, Kola, Bertrand (Rosenior, Long)
    Sterling, Salah, Richarlison, Tarroll (RLC)
    Vardy, Kane, Kaku

    A) Betrand --> Jones
    B) Alonso + Vardy --> Jones + Jesus
    C) Kola + Vardy --> Ward + Morata

          Well for one thing Ward has City next, with that bit of info, B is more viable if you have your wc and are willing to risk being bitten by alonso

    Very disappointed with that, Vardy gets a stay of execution for the next couple then I may look to turn him into Abraham for gw11 and then turn one of Silva/Sterling into Eriksen depending on how they're doing
