A third Friday night kick-off of the season brings us to the London Stadium and a Gameweek 9 opener between West Ham and Brighton.

Sadly, the Fantasy interest in this fixture is somewhat limited.

The Hammers defence has kept three clean sheets in their last five Gameweeks, but that’s not been enough to keep left-back Aaron Cresswell in the starting XI.

Arthur Masuaku has been pushing for inclusion in recent Gameweeks, with impressive cameos from the bench that have brought two assists. He gets the nod tonight, with Cresswell dropping to the bench.

Elsewhere, Chicharito’s start always looked guaranteed once he was declared fit with Andy Carroll suspended. The Mexican – who is still owned by 15.7% – looks to be the lone striker in a 4-2-3-1, with an attacking trio of Michail Antonio, Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic patrolling behind.

Meanwhile Brighton – who make their second appearance on a Friday night – boast the 14.7% owned Pascal Gross.

He gained an assist at Bournemouth on his last Friday outing and has remained integral for the Seagulls, earning another assist in Sunday’s draw with Everton. He’s been involved in 83% of Brighton’s goals when on the pitch.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Well yes....although there isn't really a stand out replacement for him.
But you don't play two holding midfielders in WC qualifiers against part timers and expect to have the nation behind you

And that automatically makes him a worse choice than Hart even though he's the better keeper? Hart has been abysmal for years now

Hart is conceding due to poor goalkeeping, not sure off the top of my head what the actual numbers are but I'm pretty certain Butland has made a lot less individual mistakes than Hart

Butland not much better IMO - has been overhyped and people letting him off the hook because of his injury. Forster crap too. Would prefer to see Heaton given a chance.

what winds me up about Hart and England is that he should just do the right thing and retire from international football. He costs this country so many oppurtunities and he is hated for it. Why doesnt he get the message he isnt wanted? I f I had a frank chat with Hart I think I could persuade him to retire for the good of the country.
Peronsally if I was Hart I would be like hmm they dont want or like me I will retire from inetrnationals then. And I would then prove myself at club level til they beg to have me back

That's not isolated to Hart though. Many England internationals have done poorly for England. Didn't Lampard take go on a run of about a million shots before scoring? Some of the defending against Uruguay and Italy in the 2014 WC was piss poor. Kane stank the place out in 2016. What has Rooney done for year?

Tbf I don't blame Hart for getting picked for England. If I was in his shoes I wouldn't want to give up being England No.1. Plus He's not the one picking the team, there one man who's responsible for him continuing to play and that's Southgate. He needs to grow a pair and drop him for Butland.

Sterling started 22 of the first 25 pl games last season yielding 6 goals and 10 assists in that period

Once he started getting rotated regularly he got only 1 goal 1 assist for rest of the season.

Pep should realize Rotation dampens his rhythm. I think sterling pretty nailed this season given his form. Agree?

Sometimes he will start, sometimes he will be subbed on.
He's very dangerous when he comes on after the 60 minute mark against tired defenders.

difference is this season pep experiments less like in his first season

Planning on bringing in Richarlison for Ritchie this week, and have 0.2m ITB and 2FT. If I don't make the move tonight I'll have to downgrade another player with my second FT to free up funds to afford that move.

Is it worth doing tonight to catch Richarlison's price rise, with my second FT there to fix any further issues that develop?

Why don't they give BAPs to defenders who block important shots like the one Dunk did in the first half, and not some pass completion crap?

Arsenal still return trophies (occasionally) and you know they’ll come good again.

I like it when my bench player gets points. (Gross permanent first sub)
Imo it's a sign of good squad.

    @ Hamezmace

Madness achieved most of their success in the early to mid-1980s. Both Madness and UB40 spent 214 weeks on the UK singles charts over the course of the decade, holding the record for most weeks spent by a group in the 1980s UK singles charts. However, Madness did so in a shorter time period (1980–1986)
