After Arsenal swept aside Everton at Goodison Park, we turn our attentions to Wembley Stadium as Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool bring the curtain down on Gameweek 9.

All eyes are on Harry Kane, who is still seeking his first league goal at Spurs’ temporary home.

Despite that record, he is second only to Romelu Lukaku in the race for the Gameweek 9 captaincy – 18.4% of FPL managers have handed him the armband.

Given that only two of the top 10 captains have scored so far, a haul from Kane could have a major impact on the overall standings.

Elsewhere for the hosts, Ben Davies is passed fit to return but surprisingly has to settle for a spot on the bench along with Danny Rose.

Sold by over 195,000+ FPL managers last week, the Welshman has started just two of the last five Gameweeks and next faces a weekend trip to Old Trafford.

For the visitors, Mohamed Salah, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino have the chance to play their way into our plans as the fixtures turn in Liverpool’s favour from Gameweek 10.

And James Milner – listed as a defender in FPL – could also be one to watch as an out of position option, with Jurgen Klopp naming him in midfield this afternoon.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

But he only needs an hour to tell a team how to defend...

Wish I could wake up. I’m clearly dreaming cos it was implied me and others were idiots cos we didn’t believe in curses and that Kane could score at Wembley.

Kudos to Mark Sutherland backing up his love of Kane!

Have Ota, Ward and VVD. Davies to Kiko feels right. Not sure if it's just because I'm drawn to his cool AF name or not though

People call Lukaku a troll, but Kane is the real troll. Will blank against Swansea then score against Liverpool.

And I am saying this as a Kane(c). Unpredictable, but explosive.

Kane is not a troll, I know he will score 25+ goals in a season. V easy to understand

He is when you (c) him against Swansea and transfer him out for Liverpool.

But why is Swansea at home a better fixture than Liverpool at home for goals, this season? Swansea have let one in away from home in four - Liverpool have now let 12 in. They wont sit - Swansea, Burnley etc would.

How Lovren continues to play top flight games is one of the biggest mysteries since Navas

    1. HamezMace

Not helped by the defensive tactics.
I.e zonal marking on set plays, trying to play offside

    On WC,

    A. Morata, and a defence of Daniels, Sakho, Dunk, Mee, 4.0m
    B. Abrahams, and a defence of Walker, Azplicueta, Yoshida, Daniels, 4.0m

I was considering Bavies to Trippier ahead of this game, now even more so.

Is there any consensus as to who of the two are most likely to start when everyone is fit?
