Our usual post-Gameweek members’ article is up next as we check in on some of the standout performers across the previous weekend’s ten matches.
There’s cause for optimism in north London after Spurs and Arsenal hit a combined nine goals, while our new expected goals data offers plenty to ponder at Manchester City.
Elsewhere, Man United and Chelsea’s Belgian big-hitters have struggled to convince as Watford’s Samba star continues to catch the eye.
What would you rather?
a) Sterling + Hazard + 5m forward/RLC
b) Sterling + Vardy + Carroll/RLC + 4 points
c) Hazard + Vardy + Carroll/RLC

+ 4 points?
A and C for a hit.
Ahh. Probably A then.
I'm keeping Hazard one more week.
Interesting replies, cheers all.

Here I am thinking of ditching Hazard for Richarlison. Price wise, Watford guy is the bang for bucks between those two.
I already have Richo but between those 2, Richo wins atm.

Silva to sterling or VVD to yoshi give you enough to upgrade Jesus?
No
Need 0.6 :/

No because of your username.
Kinda asked for that one... 😉
But what's your real thoughts on the transfer? Got 2 ft's.
If Jesus doesn't start today surely he starts vs. West Brom. No way would Pep not start him 3 games in a row.
Good chance he starts today.
He will start today.
What if Jesus and Kun start today?
That would mean Dion Dublin plays WBA.
On the chopping block soon for me are Kolasinac, Antonio, Brady, Cedric and Löwe.
I can't wait to be shot of them.
You need to wc.

After 9 GWs, how much should last seasons form/this seasons form count towards rating teams this season, home and away?
a) 50/50
b) 25/75(this season)
c) 75/25
d) something else?
D) 0 this season is the form after 9 gws
Everton were great at home last season and are hopeless now.
And Chelsea used to be good defensively
So this seasons form is more important?
Yes 0 last season 100 this season imo
Ok, that makes more sense. Teams like Watford away and Chelsea/Everton at home are vastly different to last season.
Maybe 40/60?
Do you know the approx weighting for ticker here - would guess something like 70/30?
My ticker is close to that. No idea on FFS ticker.
Interesting question. Racing and Football Outlook have a rolling ratings system for home and away form but I am not entirely sure about the complexities of the algorithm they use. It tends to be very accurate. Previous seasons should obviously have some influence but even that is hard to quantify when teams have signed a lot of new players.
Very true, no Lukaku has pretty much killed Everton.
It's a bit like the HoF here where this season is the main HoF factor.
Atm I'm about 45/55 and this season increases each GW.
What has killed Everton is Michael Keane, and Gareth Barry's zimmer frame. Even I leave mine in the dressing room. 😉
Also, the absurd mishandling of the boy wonder.
So Barry leaving for WBA was the real factor?
Oh - has he gone? Well who is not doing his job, then?
Schneiderlin and Gueye? Wtf has happened to Schneiderlin, then?
Keep up Doosra 😆
Seems Schn missed out vs Arsenal and Gueye got suspended. Fix the Everton home rating. 😉
Must be. Or they all hated Koeman.
Koeman a bit too stubborn even when he's wrong imo. Not sure managers like that keep the dressing room happy in the long term
I keep meaning to compare their figures from the beginning of the season to this week's games. Would be Interesting to see the percentage movement in ratings and compare them with yours.
Biggest movers since start of season
Home : Huddersfield and Burnley improved, Everton and Chelsea worse
Away : Watford and Burnley improved, Everton and Liverpool worse
Thanks . I will check out the RFO ratings when the paper comes out tomorrow and report back ( hopefully I will remember ☺).

Best replacement for Davies? Already have Otamendi
Azli if you're feeling rich, Daniels if you're middle income, Mee for budget option.
Azpi
VVD
Um, wrong?
https://twitter.com/Sporf/status/922857377581453312
Correct if you don't count the first two games of the season. because WHY WOULD YOU?
My bad, I wasn't counting last season.
lol
This
Need some help if anyone has a moment please.
Best Alonso and lukaku replacements. Have Kane already 2ft and 0.6 in the bank not really sure about aguero fear of rotation
Otamendi and Aguero, he is the best Kaku replacement even with the threat of rotation
Otamendi is popular here(for the right reason).
Vardy if you're feeling lucky. Can't say much about the rotation. Down to Pep.
Coming from a non member, take this with a pinch of salt though.

Oh great news, or not..
Seems like I have fell from 4th to 51 since mid January.
Can someone borrow me a parachute.. 😉
Listen to the podcast every week, love it and the site, but not a regular poster or listener. Do have a question though and not sure where to write it so replying to this - why Mark’s insistence that if your have a pricey forward (Kane was his most recent example but he said it about Lukaku) it’s only worth it if you will back him with the captaincy every week. Surely can’t apply to all your forwards if have three big hitters. Mark talks a lot of sense, but never get this
Page 1 for the first time ever 🙂
Blimey! Gone from 10k to 483 must be broken lol
Ah, this might be the last time I'm ever beating Ville, oh well it was good while it lasted!
Thanks Jonty. Sneaked into the top 20 for first time ever!
Not sure if this is a known issue, but every time I click on a Hot Topic it sends me to the bottom of the page... I then need to scroll up to find the HT

best replacement for lukaku??(-4)
morata or lacazete??
1 because I think nailed on players is more important
Lukaku has good fixtures very soon
how about below 2 changes (-8)
1) oriol>salah
or
3.9 def>otamendi
2) lukaku/jesus>cheap striker
Currently on WC. Any advice on improvements appreciated.......
De Gea (Elliot)
Trippier, Ward, Jones (Gomez, Mariappa)
Salah, Bakayoko, Silva, Doucoure (RLC)
Lukaku, Kane, Morata
Might be time for lukaku to go. Aguero is a good placeholder
Lukaku to Aguero
Who do you think is the best:
Def 4.5 or under
Mid 6 or under
For next few fixtures. Cheers
Ben mee and choupo mouting
Love the way Phil Jones has become Terminator this season. Keep thinking he's out then he reappears in the squad all fine
Think I need a new mash-up grav
Makes a change from being in the stands with the fans.
As soon as he is off the pitch the Utd defence concede the same in five minutes as have they done all season too!
Last Week.
Step 1. Transferred Out Salah for Gross
Step 2. Transferred Out Ramsey for Choupo-Moting
Step 3. Hit WC button
Step 4. Start looking at bringing them back!
And it was going ok this season!
Step 1. Was actually Salah out Sterling in.
It was that bad I errased it out of my mind
G2G for the weekend?
Elliot // Fabianski
Jones, Ward, Azi, Otamendi // Mbemba
Salah(c), Silva, Richalison // Carroll, Surman
Vardy, Kane, Lukaku
Hi guys,
Team;
Pope Elliot
Davies Otamendi Clark Ward Mbemba
Silva Coutinho Sterling Carroll 4.4
Vardy Kane Lukaku
1 FT & 0.2 ITB.
Looking to offload Clark, Davies & Vardy just not sure which to prioritse.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks,
Vardy is the least of those three. I would probably save. Not much pressing though(unless price fall).
Clark or Davies?
Clark. For Mee perhaps.
I got rid of Davies.
That's what I'm thinking of doing before anything else.. Who did you transfer to?
I got Ward in but you already have him 😉
Clark to ward
I already have Ward..
*fernandez sorry
Jones fit? Did Mourinho put him on the Captain America super-soldier programme? Can't seem to stay injured this season
See above. He's the Jonesinator
A) Play Jones (if fit)
B) Play TC
Jones easy
Still not sure. Is Jesus to Aguero a bad move?
I'm wondering the same
Give it 4 hours.
