Dugout Discussion – Man United vs Spurs

The Gameweek begins at Old Trafford and a big clash between Manchester United and Spurs which, in Fantasy terms, has been turned on its head by Harry Kane’s injury.

The striker has been sold by more than 750,000 managers ahead of today’s deadline following the revelation of his absence from this match. Son Heung-min is trusted with leading the Spurs attack in his absence against a Man Utd defence which are yet to concede in a home match.

Jose Mourinho’s tactics will be pivotal to today’s outcome and the potential for Fantasy returns. United have set up to mirror Spurs three-man defence with Eric Bailly returning alongside Phil Jones and Chris Smalling. It remains to be seen if this signals the intention to attack the visitors, promoting the prospects of both Romelu Lukaku and the returning Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Lukaku goes into this match on the back of successive blanks with his remaining 52.4% ownership desperate for him to produce today with a Gameweek 11 trip to Chelsea up next. The Belgian has been sold by over 314,000 managers ahead of today’s deadline.

      What does the goal record have to do with anything. He's obviously going to break it at some point, it makes no difference to his or Pep's plans

    Just can't get going this season. Stuck around 1-1.5m and every change I make either doesn't work or just keeps pace with those around me. I've never finished lower than 12,700 in seven seasons but this season feels different. Much harder to make an impact.

          It was still uncertain though. Saying "Pep will never do this" throughout the season with accuracy will be impossible.

    Even on a WC I fully expected Agüero not to start today. Had Kane not been injured, and Sterling not had uncertain minutes, I probably would have got in Jesus.

    However, short term moves will probably focus on getting Kane back in, and I don't want to make tons of transfers to get Agüero back anyway. So, not too gutted Agüero is benched. Would love a sub goal!
